AMetropolitan Moving & StorageExcellent. My wife and I moved our family (two kids and one large dog) from DC to Connecticut in the midst of a pandemic this summer. What was anticipated to be a high-stress series of mishaps turned out to be a no-stress smooth ride. Metropolitan was on time on both ends, respectful of the current health norms/protective measures, and did not damage or lose a thing. Seems like a low bar, but these days it's anyone's guess. There’s this online service where it had 5-10 different moving companies contact me back with an estimate and this company came in a couple of hundred bucks lower than everybody else. The movers were fantastic. They were very conscientious and careful with the furniture, and the made the move and everything very smooth. You can trust them they will not break your trust. ATikTok MovingThe TikTok Moving sent his crew and they arrived early with smiles and introduced themselves to us. After walking through the 3-story townhouse that we moved from, they started to work. Within a few hours all of our furniture and belongings are in their truck, and after another few hours they are sitting in our new home quite a long distance away. The team is efficient, professional, and great in communication. They treat our houses and staff with respect; nothing was broken during the moving, disassembly and reassembly. AVery smooth move. Monroe Moving Pro made the whole process from beginning to end stress free. MMP gave me an accurate and fair quote, did not bait and switch like other companies I called. MMP picked up items exactly when they said they would, they delivered when they said they would (a little early). The delivery was perfect. The team was friendly, respectful and efficient. I was very anxious about the move after having negative experiences with movers in the past. MMP exceeded my expectations I am very grateful I found these guys. I highly recommend them.

Nick, Steve, and Christian were all extremely nice and efficient as they moved all my belongings up to the top floor of a 4 floor walk up! FTheir professional came in to measure our fixtures and give us a quote. They deliberately underestimated for a "Pro" and once the items were on their truck they demanded another $2500 before they would leave. Unloading was not an option as the store needed to be empty by the next day. Then when we went to make the final payment by credit card which they had accepted previously they told us they needed a surcharge to do that on the final payment before they would deliver the goods. Feels like a scam and reading reviews how they do business. Give a quote and then when you can't make a change your items are on their truck demand more money. Then on the receiving end they were 2 hours past the latest time we had someone there and they had to stay to wait for them not to mention was supposed to be delivered on a Thursday and it was the following Tuesday. Very unprofessional and does not run the company honestly. I would highly recommend not to use them

David, one of the owners, is a real gentleman and a man of his word. David and his crew arrived on time of the day of the move, they worked quickly but diligently and efficiently. I could not believe how quickly they helped us finish packing and carried all items out of our old home and loaded into their truck. Hanna, the lead in customer service, was a real pleasure to deal with. She was patient and very attentive to all of my questions and concerns.
