AMonk's Home ImprovementsIt went extremely well. The new door is beautiful and the workers were pleasant to work with. We needed some work done outside around the door, and the foreman gave us a great suggestion which worked perfectly for us. The banister (for our center hall colonial) was very intricate, and the old stain needed to be hand sanded in several areas and was tedious work. The crew did a wonderful job, and the new stain looks great. The family room and trim needed to be refreshed (this is the room the French door was added to) and it looks like a great job. The painters were very professional, and did a great job, including cleanup. We could not be happier with how things turned out.- Mark S.

AMonk's Home ImprovementsI talked with Kurt Becker of Monk's Home Improvements on August 13 about getting painters to refresh the rooms on the first floor of my house as well as the master bath on the second floor. The house is for sale and I was contacting him from out of state as I have already moved. In quick order, he visited the house, sent me an estimate and once I confirmed, he booked a start date of Monday, August 24. The painters used a day to prep and to take wallpaper down in one of the rooms. They painted 4 rooms, two hallways, one bath - including ceilings, doors and trim work and were finished by Friday, August 28. The house looks terrific and we are so grateful to Kurt and Monk for their prompt response and quick completion of the job - and especially for working with me long distance. AFlying Colors Roofing and PaintersThis is the third time I have hired Flying Colors ... their work is impeccable. My most recent project involved interior painting although one of my prior projects was for exterior stain and painting. The job could not have gone better. Steve showed up on time to inspect my house and followed up with a clearly written quote. He had a large backlog of work and couldn't start the job for a few weeks which was not a problem for us. He did start the job when promised and was always easy to reach. His painting team (led by Alex) always arrived on time and were extremely careful with every aspect of the job - prep, painting, and clean up. Their attention to detail was incredible - my walls and trim looks like brand new. I don't know of a better painting contractor than Flying Colors.- James F.

AFlying Colors Roofing and PaintersSteven and team did an outstanding job turning our home from one with chipped paint from multiple terrible painting jobs and gapping holes from woodpeckers to looking like a brand new home! The team replaced all damaged shingles, removed an old door and added shingles in its place to match the rest of the house, sanded down the old paint (over multiple days) and then painted beautifully. They also took some extra days to remove old wallpaper up our stairs and in our hallways, repaired the drywall and repainted. Every day the team was onsite and ready to work at the time we were told (and usually even early) and the project was wrapped up exactly when we were told, and surpassed all of our expectations. We will definitely be recommending Flying Colors to anyone and everyone in the future.- Matthew M.

I closed on my new home on December 15th, which didn't leave me much time to make minor changes before the holidays. James and Bianca at Precision Painting Plus were a dream come true. James came out to see our home a day after my Angie's list request. He provided me with an complete detailed estimate for my project and was super thoughtful to throw things in for Little or No cost because we had just bought the home, Ex. He painted the closets in my kids room. #Grateful. The estimate came with all of the material. Quality paint and quality painters! The paint is yours to keep at the end of the project. As they were already full of projects for the holiday season, I asked if there was any way my project could have been done before Christmas. James made a call and actually got a crew out to my home 2 days later, they worked late into the night on day 1 and was able to wrap up my project on day 2 by 5pm. I got a Huge master bedroom done, the master bath, my children's room (2x) their bathroom. My formal living and dining room done - very large space and my half bathroom. The work was AMAZING! The service included all the walls, trims and doors. I couldn't be happier! Bianca is the project consultant and she was also Top Notch! Extremely Knowledgeable about colors and finishes and walked me through with NO RUSH color options - I was a deer without headlights. Her direction really helped me pull it together. At such a happy but overwhelming time of purchasing a new home, they were the perfect team to help bring some ease to what could have easily been a overwhelming process. AThe estimate given by Hugo included up to 3 sheets of plywood if needed, which other firms did not include. We had two layers of previous roofing removed and the plywood replaced where needed, which used the three sheets. The job cost exactly as estimated and was $1000 less than the highest bid we received. There were no surprise charges, which other friends have experienced with other contractors The job took two days, as estimated. The workers arrived on time as scheduled, and did a beautiful job. They cleaned up immaculately. Hugo came to supervise as well as other Loria managers. We are so pleased that we have recommended this firm to our friends.

AEddie Costa and his ETC Home Improvement team are the only general contractors I will work with. I have used ETC many times over several years, and I am never disappointed. Eddie is my general contractor for several rentals and my home. He put a beautiful kitchen in a shore rental, does every aspect of the construction bringing in great plumbers and electricians, too. Eddie aligns his work and subcontractors so it goes fast. He brings in locally constructed kitchen cabinets that are beautiful. Eddie is just finishing a home office addition and master closet for me, and it turned out perfect. Finish carpentry by Carlos is amongst the best I have seen. I can’t say enough about how professional Ed is, and all the team he brings in. His prices are very reasonable for the quality you will get. For major projects, you will not have to hires anyone else, he has the best on his team. I recommend Eddie and ETC at the highest level.
