  • I can’t say enough good things about Denis. He came highly recommended from a friend and I’m so happy that I hire him over anyone else. He repaired my kitchen cabinets to like new condition. And also did some more delicate work outside on supporting posts and beams which required a high degree of skill. Everything came out beautifully and I am ecstatic. More importantly Denis is a wonderful, honest, and truly a good person.

  • We first hired Eric and his team to gut and renovate our 1950s bathroom. The turnaround for the project was about 10 days and my husband and I couldn't have been happier with their workmanship. We ended up with a beautiful, new up to date bathroom. They were always professional, punctual, fastidious workers who even showed up to put in a half day of work on a Sunday. The bathroom turned out so well that the following year Eric renovated our outdated kitchen. Once again, the project turned out beautiful and we ended up with a gorgeous new kitchen. This Spring they will return for more renovations. I can highly recommend Eric Sudhalter Contractors without any reservations. We are highly satisfied repeat customers.

  • Very pleased with the work the crew from Certapro did on my house. This job required paint matching, and also fixing some defects in the walls. The paint matching was great, the crew worked quickly/efficiently, and the result was excellent. I was particularly concerned about the finished trim-work getting paint on it, and with all the doorways, crowns, baseboard and such, I did not see any place where the finish trim had paint on it. Well done!

  • They are prompt, professional, courteous. Ryan is a great liaison - he tells you everything that's being done, still to be done, and communicates what work will go on every day. I only had two quality problems so far - the wrong paint was used on one wall (fixed), and one of the basement windows leaked (fixed). As you can see they fixed them both, and everything else is of high quality.

  • The entire process was professional done to the highest standards. During the design phase, our initial ideas were used as a basis, and JMC was able to suggest many great ideas that were incorporated. During review of the drawings, all comments and suggestions were evaluated and discussed and we had final approval. Selection of tile, cabinets and fixtures was greatly helped by Tammy's advice. She was a great help in the selection process, and explained all the differences in style. Jack, the project manager, kept me informed during all phases of the project. Mario, who was on-site every day and coordinated all the other workers, kept us involved in the day to day progress of the project. He was helpful and diligent, and all the small questions that came up were brought to our attention and he worked hard to resolve them. The painter was also diligent, having to make two trips to the paint store to insure that the stain for the woodwork matched perfectly. JMC also returned after the job was completed to install an additional heating vent. This is an example of JMC's commitment that the job will be done to the home owner's complete satisfaction. We are totally satisfied with our project, and would recommend JMC to anyone considering a remodel.

  • Brian Manca and his team were great. They framed my basement, sheetrocked, painted, installed doors and hardware, and installed a wood floor. They were not the lowest price out there but not the highest either. I was impressed at the skill and speed from start to finish. They were very clean, non smokers, showed up when they said they would. What more could I ask for.

  • Gary and I spoke by phone to determine whether there was enough work to make it worth his to travel outside his usual area, which makes sense. We had 4–6 hours' worth of work to do, so he came out a few days later, when he had a free day between major jobs. If you decide to work with Gary, I suggest saving up small jobs and letting him know when you have enough for a day's work. He's very clear at communicating when he has time for handyman work between major projects, and he's reliable at showing up when he says he will. I'm delighted to have found a skilled handyman! Gary knows his materials, works neatly, quickly and professionally and is happy to tell you when to fix something and when to leave it alone (instead of reaching for unattainable perfection). I'll be starting another list of household things to fix, and when it's long enough, I'll call Gary!

  • When my husband found the damage to the trim, he inspected it and realized there were damages to the wood inside. He felt this was beyond his skills. We turned to JMC because they had done a great job finishing part of our basement a couple of years back. Normally JMC doesn't do repairs. But, because they had worked on our house before, they were willing to come fix our problem.
After inspecting the outside damage and drilling inspection holes into the inside wall, it was determined, the damages must be fixed from the inside and that included taking down at least half of the brick from the fireplace.
Dust from the work was a major concern especially because my elderly mother was staying with us for a little while. George and his partner (I am sorry I forgot his name) were very accommodating. They put up plastic drop cloths to contain the dust and to prevent it from flowing into the rest of the house. As they worked, they did what was necessary to maintain low dust. They put down a length of hard cardboard to prevent tracking in dirt. He knew outside shoes are not worn in the house. It was much appreciated.
The team did a great job fixing the problem. They water tested to make sure there were no leaks before sealing everything up. Where the bricks were removed, we decided to put up dry wall. They did a great job painting the wall and ceiling.
On the outside, they caulked areas that were left uncaulked by mistake. With the siding, they inspected and only replaced where needed. Everything worked out fine and looked great.
We have no complaint. My husband enjoyed discussions with George to find options to fix our problem. The work was done well. The next time there is work to be done, we will definitely call JMC again.

  • Project started out very quickly, able to start soon after estimate. They really worked hard to keep rest of house clean. Garbage was removed daily. ?Workers where very polite and professional. Done in 4 days no problems and Terry took care of handling electrician and all permits.

  • allows him to be  all The entire process went quite well.  In filling out this appraisal I was a little hesitant to give Joel an "A" under pricing because $760 is a pretty substantial cleaning bill. My wife had a better perspective when comparing this cost versus the price of new drapes etc with similar quality.  In  this case you get what you pay for and the drapes came out looking like new.
Joel Leibowitz is very professional and has an experience base that allows him to approach each situation with flexibility without compromising his standards. My wife and dog suffer from allergies, so the process was performed with cleaning solutions sensitive to this condition.  The whole process took about 5 hours and Joel performed all of the work by himself.
No fuss, no mess and very clean.
