    Garden State Irrigation & Lighting
Everything was great from start to finish. From the office staff to installation team. Everything was seamless. They came when they said they would and produced the result I hired them for. We had multiple lawn zones and planting bed zones installed with Hunter product heads. Our water pressure was on the low side so with the advice of Joel went with a newer style mist combo rotor head to combat the pressure issues. When everything was installed and the team was cleaning up, Joel programmed the sprinkler system timer to an app on my phone and taught me how to use it. I can turn it on and off no matter where I am and can edit all settings from my office or while away on vacation. This new technology makes everything easier and more efficient. Couldn't be happier with the results!!!

    Roy Targia Masonry
Roy and his crew, led by his foreman Joe, did a great job with all the work that we had done. Joe consistently spent time explaining things and answering questions as the work proceeded. Roy and Joe kept in contact with me and my husband at critical points where decisions needed to be made. And any issues that came up were addressed to our satisfaction. Joe was also helpful in providing additional resources for secondary work that needed to occur, including recommending a tree removal service and electrician.

    May Brother's Landscaping
I made one call and explained the circumstances and what needed to be done. Ted went above and beyond what I expected. Yard has never looked so good! I would totally recommend Mays Brothers and use them again should I need anything done.

James Maloney & Son Tree Service
i ordered 2 cords of stove wood, which is smaller than firewood($175.00 per cord)
therefore  more expensive($225.00 per cord) due to extra  labor splitting  the logs.
i received 2 cords of firewood, which i had to split in order to use in  my wood stove.
so i was overcharged by $100.00 in addition to being charged sales tax.
There is no sales tax on firewood in NJ see NJ Publication S&U4 NJ Sales Tax Guide.
The delivery driver(brother of the owner) insisted that firewood is taxable. I relented and paid.
Afterwards I checked to confirm that I was correct and should be reimbursed at least for the sales tax ($31.50)
I tried to call James Maloney many times as I have his cell phone number from previous work that was satisfactory.
He never called back after many attempts to reach him.

    FRIENDLY TREE SERVICE
The only problem we had was that they did not show up the day they were scheduled.  They said they had a truck problems when we contacted them to see why they were late.  They showed up first thing the next morning and took care of everything plus some extra things.  Other then the lateness they were hard workers and we would hire them again.

We only had them one time for a clean up, they clean up all the leaves and took them away. I got them from Angie's List. The charge was a little high for us but they did an excellent job. We have to wait for them about week.

As promised the job started on time and Brian does have some incredibly hard working employees.  They worked from the time they got there until it was quitting time (some days well after dark).  The problems we had were with professionalism and quality of work.  During one conversation with Brian in regards to the size of our patio that was to be laid he told me I was nit picking about the details.  I think that since this is my house my thoughts matter and to insult a customer is unprofessional.  His lack of professionalism just continued from there.  In regards to quality we had to have them completely dig up the french drain system and redo it.  One night I was looking at some pictures that my husband took and noticed that the system didn't look right before they filled it in.   We called Brian and he told us not to worry, it was right and that they had completed hundreds of them and that they were the professionals, that knew what they were doing.  We just didn't feel right and in the middle of the night went out and dug up a section for ourselves only to find that it was completely wrong and would have failed in a few short months.  Even after this huge mistake, which we made them correct, Brian still continued to be condescending and arrogant with us.  After the job was completed (it does look good and completed how I designed it) one of our flagstones cracked in half and it took us 8 months and multiple calls and emails to finally get it replaced.  I so wanted this to work out better as I would have loved to have them come back and do more work in the backyard but after the way we were treated and their lack of respect it is just not something that will ever happen.  I hope that if someone reads this and does hire them to do their work that will be vigilant in checking on how the job is being completed.

    Creative Images Landscape LLC
The owner, Craig, called me the night before the job was to start to inform me that the crew would be arriving at 8:30 a.m. A five man crew came  right on time. They were well equipped with a plethora of power and hand tools, from axes, to power shears, long extension cutters, rakes, shovers, and blowers.
These guys went right to work, meticulously bringing my entire property, front, back & sides, back to glory. I especially appreciated the care they took to ensure that the gates on my fence and deck were always closed so that my cherished dog would not get out.
The workers were extremely polite, and the "crew leader", Elvis, was such a pleasure. Throughout the job, Elvis would ask if a particular bush or area was done to my satisfaction, if the shape of the trimming was to my liking, etc. The guys even went so far as to put a ladder inside some extremely large rhododendrums in order to cut out some dead branches.Once all the cutting, trimming, shaping & weed removal was completed to my satisfaction. they mulched a special shrub garden area of my yard. Lastly, they blew out my entire property unlike any landscaper had ever done before (including the vendor that does my weekly mowing).
Craig came by the next day to check out the job and, of course, to get paid. While here, I asked him a few questions about particular shrubs and plantings in my yard. He is incredibly knowledgeable about plants, photo-synthesis, soil quality....everything! Craig is clean-cut, well-spoken, and visibly respectful of his crew and proud to have them respresent him and his buisness.
I would highly recommend your using Creative Images Landscaping. Even if you're not in the position to have a major outdoor construction project done, or have your yard totally re-designed & landscaped, so many properties need smaller jobs like mine. Professional shrub and tree trimming & shaping, weeding & rejuvenating bedding areas, will  your home the beautiful surroundings it deserves, keep plants, shrubs, and trees healthy & thriving, and protect your home and cars from damage caused by downed limbs. Also, the recent surge of burlarie is no secret.. If your property lacks lighting, consider hiring Creative Images who are experts in this area as well. Given the downturn of the economy and its persistence, many small business like Creative Images may not be getting as much business as before. Not only am I thrilled with the job done by Creative Images, I am happy that I did a small part in helping support a local small business that sustains local families with children just like us!

    Canete Landscape, Inc.
We were scheduled to use them last summer.  They were suppose to do a new drive, french drain, and a sidewalk.  They came back almost five months behind schedule, saying the cost of the permits was going to increase the price we had agreed on.  At that point, we fired them.  I've never had to fire a contractor before they started a job!  I cannot recommend this company in any shape or form.

I had an appointment with this company that I made several days in advance.  I had to cancel my doctor's appointment to fit them in.  They called me 2 hours before they were supposed to show up and cancelled the appointment and they thought this was acceptable.  If I cannot count on them to show up for an appointment, then it is clear they cannot be counted to execute the work either.  Folks, don’t do business with contractors who don’t value your time.
