    Sacchitelli Landscape Concepts Inc.
The project went very well. Sacchitelli Landscape Concepts produced a great Design plan, and executed according to plan through a difficult wet season. Pete Sacchitelli & Co. has our highest recommendation.

    At Your Disposal Plumbing
Jeff was excellent. Called to verify appt, then again to say he would be a little late, okay with me since he can right after my call to his office home. He then made a detour to the supply store because I requested additional parts. Always cheerful, accommodating. noticed the shower head was loose and repaired that. rate was fair and total bill reasonable. But the SERVICE is key, is it not? he got it.

    1-800-Heaters
I believe the company is unethical by suggesting unneeded services and products. in addition the prices were inflated. some of the issues were: punching a hole in the foundation for vent pipe $600, replace shut-off valve $125, Expansion tank and PRV valve $600, all of these were Not necessary. Tech said 40 gal heater would not fit, so I could only have 30 gal, which is insufficient for my needs. company offered $600 items for $400 if I sign up "today only". a trick of a hustler. also $93 for permit, which was not required, by new law March 2018. All tradesmen and homeowners should know that now all "replacement " type work electrical, plumbing, etc no longer requires permit by NJ State law. I found another plumber who was not inexpensive, but efficient and expert who did the job for $1315 compared to the unethical $2400 price 1-800 Heaters wanted. Society today shames those abusing senior citizens such as I, and people in dire needs such as water heater. The tech was Josh. He called his manager about 5 times during the visit to get advice and prices to my objections to constant upselling of service and price. He was trying to help me but the boss was relentless. Water heater replacement takes about 1 hr. and new heaters cost $500. Labor therefore is approx. $800/hr. plus travel. Know This is hugely profitable business, with many wanting it. you do not need the skill of a licensed plumber, where I do respect their professional talent. conclusion: i'm not counting their money but I do count mine, and integrity counts the most.

Sewer Ejection Pump: The service was great but the mark up on the product compared to the many places on the internet was about 50% more. I would ask the cost of everything before accepting the service.

    Copperhead Plumbing & Heating
Everyone I dealt with was professional and friendly however the cost was on the high side compared to the local average. I did hire Copperhead previously for a job which was on the lower side of average so I was surprised they were on the high side for this work. That aside, I would hire them again if the estimate is more competitive.

    JMC Home Improvement Specialists
For me business is simple: People, Process and Product, in JMCs case they nailed (no pun intended) all three. People We really appreciated working with their entire crew. Everyone on site was polite, articulate, and quick to respond to any request. They did show a high concern for our comfort during the project. We especially enjoyed working with Tammy, George, Debbie, and of course John. Process Starting right at the beginning when we interviewed each other to make sure we were a good fit to work together, a great thing to do. The design process with us describing to John and Tammy what we were looking for and them designing what we wanted. The patience and support as we changed up things during the design was process was appreciated. The contract and design document, I think the final one was approximately 30 pages, clearly laid out what they were going to do, and gave us a clear picture of what to expect. We agreed on a 6 weeks timeline, and their team completed all the heavy work in 5. The team was here every day, and we could see the progress each day. Product 2 components here 1) workmanship, 2) The actual products installed. The workmanship is all of the highest quality, small things like - that the crew determined the corbels were not the best look for our island and ordered new ones is much appreciated. The tile work both in the kitchen and master bathroom is really stunning. When I look at the kitchen floor, and realize every tile had to be cut, I am amazed. Everything installed, starting with the smallest items right thru the cabinetry, granite counter tops, new door, and garden window was all of the highest quality. In summary, JMC delivered a superior experience. When we started we had our concerns, about disruption to our lives, and our pets. While the 5 weeks seemed long as we went thru them, we survived with only the normal disruptions and are glad we did the remodeling. I have told JMC they are free to use us as a reference.

    Somerset Plumbing LLC
Excellent all around. Very professional and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. He did all of the bidding through iPhone photos and measurements, which was very convenient. He emailed a quote and was able to accept the terms thru his website. His price was lower then all other quotes and quality was exceptional.

    Offenberger Plumbing
The pricing seems very competitive if not a little bit cheaper. We called him. He gave us a time and asked if that was okay or if we needed him earlier. Once he came to our house at 7 o’clock at night, he did not charge us extra. He is really service-oriented and reasonably priced. The name of the owner is Brent Offenberger and he was the guy who came.

    Schaible's Plumbing & Heating Inc.
BE VERY WARNED!!!  Typical bait and switch artist.  Will agree to something to get the work.  Then will come in and claim that the scope of work is more complicated than he thought.  Will try to get you to agree to do the work on a time and material basis.  Will then ask for more money and if you don't give it to him, he will walk off the job and leave you high and dry.  When I told him that I think that he ripped me off, his response was "try doing it yourself.  You will learn fast".

    Weltman Home Services Inc
The initial work was performed well as far as I could tell, but three years later, the HVAC system failed due to loss of coolant.  I hired another HVAC technician to service the unit, and found out the the Weltman technician had made the cooling line connections incorrectly (apparently my Mitsubishi unit requires a specific type of tubing flare connection, but the Weltman tech force-fit an incorrect flare connection).  The HVAC technician who identified the problem was not surprised, and considered it a sign of a tech who is not a specialist in HVAC.
