    Did not go well. Technician misdiagnosed the problem and instead tried to sell me new oven. When I found out after that problem was a simple button, I asked for and was told would get a refund. When not received, I called and was met with abuse, name calling and threats. Not the type of customer service I would expect from a reputable company.

    Hello Bill C, I called your business to schedule a service call for my Fisher & Paykel refrigerator. I have own since 2006 and just recently the temp in the food compartment had increased as to make the milk and water not very cold. Even decreasing the temp did not help the temp at the lowest setting was 45-50 degree. I had milk that actually curdled. I was given an apt for Sunday july 9th between 130p-330p, which was perfect for me being that I like to sleep late. On that day @ 9am the house phone rang and it was Abe from your company asking if he could come within the hour. My husband explained I was sleeping, but after hearing the phone ring, I picked up the phone and told him ok. When he got here, he check the fridge temp and the freezer temp. He said it was only 5 degrees off. He listened for the fans, removed the back panel, then replaced. He looked in the user guide I had there and said that I was probably using the up and down buttons incorrectly. I said I don't think so, down is lower temp, up is to decrease temp. He seemed to think it was the other way, which actually makes no sense to me. I said if you have an air conditioner and you want the temp lower it works the same way, down lower up higher. At this point I was bewildered. Then he says doesn't seem to be anything wrong here, but I will have to call Fisher & Paykel tomorrow and ask their suggestion, Oh yea, that will be 99.95 for today. I said I will pay you tomorrow when you call me back with a solution, he said that this fee was to just look at it. Why are appts made on Sunday if companies cannot be called. At least let the customer know that if item cannot be fixed the day of service, it will have to wait for Monday to reach the company and let the customer make the decision. That would be the right thing to do. The best in customer service. So needless to say I am not a happy customer, I am sorry to say. I called on Monday in the afternoon and spoke to Kathleen. I explained the situation, she said she would talk to Abe and call me back. Abe called me and said that he spoke to F&P and they suggested I replace the cold control which will cost me 200.00 + with taking the 99.95 off. I will not be having that done and appeal to you to please refund the $ I pd for the service I feel I did not get. Thank you and so sorry this has happened. From reading your company bio you pride yourself on great customer service. I just don't feel that I got that.

    The repairman was on time and was professional. He checked everything out and said he needed to order parts. He gave a price which i thought was a little high but, in his defense I didn't check the price of the parts on-line. They came in within a day of when he said they would and he came back the day after he called to tell us they were in. He fixed the problems and the refigerator is still working perfectly. I would definitely use them again.

    I found Ron''s on Angie List after we started to experience problems with our gas dryer heating up. I called on Monday June 30th and he would have been able to come out that day but I was not going to be available. I told him that I would be home all day on the 3rd and he said he would call early that morning to let me know when he might be out. He called that morning and gave me a 1.5 hour window when he expected to be there. He came out within that time frame, immediately diagnosed the problem, gave me a price for the part and to fix it and along with his assistant went right to work and repaired the dryer within 30 minutes. Ron was very professional and I would definitely recommend him to others and use him again.

    Tech came out on 10/8 after I called for an appointment on 10/7. I was very pleased with the response time. The tech showed up on time and was very professional and took the time to examine my Bosch washing machine. He determined the control board had shorted out and it would be $467 to repair for parts and labor. I told him I was going to price new units before moving forward and he told me it I wanted to do the repair just call the office to order the parts and set up the repair. After exploring options I called the office on 10/22 to proceed with the repair. I was very pleased with the company up until this point. That is where the problems started... On 10/22, I gave the receptionist my info and she said the part would be ordered, it typically takes three to four days. I called on 10/28 to get a status update on the part. The same receptionist told me the part was ordered on 10/25 and should be in this week. She could not tell me why it took three days to order the part but she would call when it came in. Again I called to check on 10/30 and the same receptionist answered the phone. At this point she put me on hold and a man got on the phone. He told me that the estimate filled out by the tech did not have the part # on it so they could not order the part. So after eight days no one called to ask me for the model, instead they did nothing. The man said he could order it today and it would be in next week. No offer to expedite the order or solve the issue and no apology. The tech at the company seemed knowledgeable but it does not seem like they have have any communication between the techs, parts or reception.

    I was able to get an appointment within a few days. The service man arrived slightly outside the time range given, but his office let me know in advance that he would be a little late and then again when he was on the way. If someone is going to miss their arrival time, this is the right way to handle it and as good as I've seen.
    The serviceman, who is also the owner I found out, installed an after-market heat wire into the drain line to make sure it would not clog again. It took about 1 hour because he had to remove and melt the ice jam. He needed to find power for the warming wire within the control box and was able to do so. He put everything back together and it's been working fine since he left.
    His invoice confirms a 2 year warranty on the part installed. He was very courteous and professional.
    The price above is net after a $30 Angie's List first time user discount.
    I will definitely try Immediate Appliance Service again.
