I wish that my local town's Zoning board were as easy to deal with as Antonio and his team! This project would have been easily done 4 months earlier had it not been for their somewhat overzealous desire to tell me what I can and cannot do with my property. But I digress... Antonio and his team have tons of great reviews here for a reason; they're doing very high quality work at what I felt was a reasonable price. I approached them with a design and a look in mind, they took that idea and they made it functional and effective. There were a couple of modifications to the plan during the work that Antonio and I had to negotiate, but they also did a fair amount of extra labor not detailed in the plan and, again, Antonio kept costs reasonable. The whole crew was very pleasant and they worked hard to keep everything clean and displacement to a minimum. They finished the work in 5 days, and we were promptly rained on the following two days. The drainage worked as expected and we no longer have giant pools of standing water near our foundation. The patio is gorgeous, too! We're excited to use it this weekend, even though this summer has already passed us by. We'll keep an eye out for any changes as the weather gets worse, but we feel assured that we've got the right team to help if something goes wrong.

We left a review I believe under my husband's account. Initially, everything we said in that review was true when the job was first finished in September 2015. However, two -and-half years later, the work done by this company is not holding up. There are stains dripping down THE FRONT steps, visible from BLOCKS AWAY - the stains are white, gray and sand coloured and it leaves a residue. It has been becoming progressively WORSE with the bad weather. Mr. DeBenedetto visited with my husband today, March 13, 2018 and in every way possible, blamed my husband for the stains, rather than take ANY responsibility for HIS SHODDY WORK, which is now making OUR HOME look bad!! The steps where these stains are coming from - NEW ONLY 2 1/2 YEARS - are LOOSE!!! Sand and cement and whatever else is coming from UNDERNEATH THE BLUESTONE tops and leaking/staining our steps. We WILL Provide photos!! Furthermore, railings installed and altered to meet code STILL HAVE HOLES IN THEM despite multiple promises that they would also be fixed. AND - on the work on the new set of steps on the side, the foundation cement/paint is DISCOLORING!!! Only on that side of the house , no where else, but OF COURSE, my husband was blamed for that, too. We rolled with every additional charge and mistake made to our property while the job was going on. We accepted delay after delay, charge after charge, mistakes, etc. We put up with everything -- and he knows it. THIS WE WILL NOT ACCEPT. Mr. DeBenedetto PROMISED MY HUSBAND that he would FIX THE LOOSE STEPS AND STOP THE LEAKING AND STAINING. WE REFUSE TO ACCEPT ANYTHNG LESS THAN TOTAL RESTORATION OF THIS PROJECT TO "LIKE NEW" STANDARDS. THE STAINS MUST BE GONE, THE LEAKING MUST BE STOPPED. THE LOOSE STEPS REPAIRED. THE HOLES IN THE BANISTERS MUST BE FIXED. THE DISCOLORATION ON THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE CORRECTED. FIX ALL OF IT. 110%. PERMANENTLY RESTORED SO THAT IT NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN. He said we had to wait until nice weather. Beginning April 1 and until we are 110% satisfied with the repairs to the work, we will call him and Angie's List EVERY DAY. We are sick and tired of having to chase him down for this job. It should have been done 2 1/2 years ago, but the work is not high quality and is not holding up. The work is coming apart and it is causing damage to our home. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. FIX ALL OF IT. 110%. PERMANENTLY RESTORED SO THAT IT NEVER NEVER NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN. When that is done, we will provide an update to show that everything has been repaired/restored to our satisfaction.

My wife and I recently purchased a bi-level ranch where the lower level sits on a concrete slab.  The level consisted of a several rooms, and a two-car garage.  Of these rooms, the family room and an extra bedroom had the original linoleum floors, which we had removed to expose the bare concrete.  We originally thought to finish the exposed surfaces with a concrete stain.  But, after looking over Advanced Concrete's website, we became interested in what they had to offer, so we called them in for a consultation.
Advanced Concrete does not provide concrete staining services, but provide finished concrete flooring using color flakes for the color and a durable epoxy resin for the finish.
I met with Glen Sr. and he went over the project with us and explained the procedure and how it would provide us with the look and durability we were seeking.   First, they would prepare the concrete by repairing any minor cracks and imperfections, and grind it down to a smooth and uniform surface.  Then, they would apply two coats of epoxy with the color flakes sort of sandwiched in between them.  The first coat contained a product that would act as a moisture barrier and help prevent moisture penetration from beneath.  The color flakes would be sprinkled over this layer and then a second layer of epoxy would be applied to fully seal the surface and provide the appropriate final finish.  After our discussion with Advanced Concrete, my wife and I decided to consider expanding the project to include the two-car garage as well.   We asked Advanced Concrete to break the estimate into two line items, one for the family room and the bedroom, and another for the car garage.   All total, the space was approximately 1100 square feet.
I contacted a couple of other concrete contractors to assess the situation and it turned out neither of them were specifically expert in concrete finishing, but more in concrete repair and maintenance.  One of them offered to provide a similar color flake and epoxy resin procedure, and their quote was very similar to the one provided by Advanced Concrete.
So, after we decided on the epoxy finish, it was relatively easy for us to go with Advanced Concrete, because of their greater experience and the quality of the work we saw on their website.
We were in the process of moving from one home to another and most of our possessions were in temporary storage.  So, in effect, the house was empty.  So, when it came time to schedule the project, Advanced Concrete worked with us to find a timeframe that allowed them to complete the project before our possessions were to arrive.
The project took two days to complete and the floors look terrific.  We are very happy with the end product and enjoying showing our neighbors what we did with our concrete floors.    The family room and the bedroom are noticeably brighter, and have a warm feel to them. The garage looked old and worn at first, but now has a shine and sparkle that really makes it look bright and new.
After the work had been completed, we did notice a couple of small patches which needed more color flakes, and Advanced Concrete quickly returned to touch-up these minor imperfections.
Overall, we are very satisfied with the work and the appearance of our new floors.  We felt we made the right choice in going with the color flakes/epoxy floor instead of stained concrete and would recommend Advanced Concrete for this type of work.

My wife and I heartily recommend Tony De Benedetto Masonry. We couldn’t be more pleased with his work and have been very much enjoying our new outdoor spaces. We had three sets of steps constructed, one older patio repaired, a second new patio installed, as well as stucco on our foundation and Belgian block curbing to create garden space and set off our driveway.  Tony was extremely helpful to us as we talked out our project, working with us to provide attractive and functional solutions to fit our budget.  His crew were exemplary workers, especially Manny, the foreman.  They worked diligently every day and kept the worksite neat at the end of the day – several of our neighbors commented on how organized and neat they kept the site as they worked on the project.  When a few surprises arose during the project, Tony described the extra necessary work and costs promptly and fairly. And despite a few of these surprises, the project was done within the timeframe he specified, so we could enjoy our new spaces for the Labor Day weekend.  He worked well with town officials to secure initial permits and inspection approvals. Because of his high quality work and excellent customer service, he’s a busy guy! So, if you are planning a project, call him soon!

Anthony's guys did an excellent job.  Instead of steps in the front of our ranch house, we have a cement ramp (for wheelchair access).  The house is about 60 years old which means the ramp is also that age and it was beginning to crumble on the sides.  After reading the reviews regarding Falletta Masonry, I called to get an estimate on replacing the ramp. The good news from Anthony was that the ramp did not need to be replaced, it could be repaired at a much less cost.  While he was here for the estimate, I asked about replacing a basement window well that was also crumbling.  Anthony said yes he does that work also, plus he suggested putting window well covers on all six basement windows (some windows had no covers and others were covered with old screens to prevent our dogs from falling in), which we agreed to.  We were given an estimate of $2,400.
When it was time for the work to be done, Anthony called the night before and said they would be here at 9AM.  They were right on time.  Once they got here, my husband had a few additional requests - could they patch a small  outside crack in the foundation and patch two additional large inside basement foundation cracks.  That was no problem for Anthony and he set the men to work with the additional work instructions and all the work was done, as requested. The men were hard workers, worked neatly and quietly.  I was impressed that before putting the covers on the window wells his men actually pulled out the weeds that were growing in the window wells and cleaned out any debris. When it was time to pay him, I asked what the additional amount would be for all the extra work - only $100, which we thought was extremely generous.

I am very pleased, a good, professional job at the right price. As I said I am handicapped and mobility is an issue for me, I can now get any where I need to go....Without hesitation, I would use this outfit for any of their services, and recommend them highly....Mr. Debenedetto is a professional, who takes his work seriously, which reflects in his crew, as well as the finished product. For me, this was a very positive experience, and I am well pleased with the results.  Kudos to Angies List and Mr. Debenedetto (AND his people)

    Bassani Contracting
Chris Bassani always responded to phone calls and messages and was always easy to reach for questions and/or concerns.  His price was also the most reasonable one we received (we got quite a few estimates for this job.) Chris took care of obtaining all the proper permits and permission to perform the repair and included all of these components in the price.  On the day of the job, Chris and his team of workers showed up bright and early and started the work right away.  Since my water had to be turned off for the duration of the project, Chris made sure the job was done by the late afternoon so I could have my water turned back on quickly.  Chris also made it a point to preserve a piece of my sidewalk that had to be temporarily removed in order to perform the work. In addition, there was a piece of my walkway that had to be broken up and removed to gain access to the foundation of the house, but Chris quickly replaced the piece of concrete the same day and included the new piece of concrete in the price he charged for the whole job (as per the written contract.)  Chris and his team also did a great job handling a situation with my disgruntled next door neighbor (who was upset by the nature of the work I was having performed on my property next to hers.)
Chris performed the work in a timely fashion and did an excellent job.  I was most impressed by the fact that he made such a great effort to complete everything he had promised to do within the same day.  I am recommending Bassani Contracting to all my friends and neighbors, and I am also planning to have him redo my driveway in the near future. I continue to be extremely impressed by Chris Bassani's work and ability to satisfy his customers.

Jeff  was always very professional and prompt. They completed the work in 3 days. Because we were having other contractors on the property at the same time, they couldn't bring their truck into the driveway so it necessitated them removing much of the old slab in wheel barrels brought out to the street. We requested a 1 1/2" pitch to the new floor which they did. The workers were pleasant and we would highly recommend them.
