    Lasting Construction
We had a slow leaky roof for about a year now. We did hired someone tried to patch it last year but it didn't last long, again it leaks after heavy rain or major snow. This June after getting a recommendation, we hired Manny and team to fix the roof. We are very happy with them on this project. From estimate and scheduling, my experience is very pleasant. Manny is very responsive. Email generally responded within a hour. The price is fair. On the day of the work, they show up on time, took out the old / bad shingles, replaced few of the rotted plywood boards, put down the snow and rain guards, replaced all the bad flashing which were not install correctly by the previous roofer, the put on new matching shingles for the area, all with in a day. Since then we had couple heavy rains. so far so good. We will use them again for any roofing and siding projects.

    Magnolia Home Remodeling Group
Chris F. (co-owner) came out to review the work to be performed. He was very professional and personable. He showed me different siding materials (insulated siding), roofing, pictures of front porch and walkway work, and explained what they would do. A couple of days later he provided a written proposal, along with the companies certifications, and pictures of other work they had done. He would follow up, but not be pushy. It was a tough decision, but I did not use their service. For my situation, I was able to find a couple of other contractors that were closer to home and less expensive. I would recommend keeping Magnolia on a list of contractors.

    Bellari Home Remodeling
Bob from Bellari was punctual, honest and professional. He came out for an estimate, listened to what I wanted, and made suggestions. The next morning he emailed me an estimate for the job, with some options. He followed up, asked if I had any questions and invited me to their showroom. Unfortunately I did not go with this company because they were a little higher than I wanted to spend and I was able to get other mason and deck work from a different contractor. I would still recommend them as a company to contact for roofing and siding.

    JM Roofing Systems LLC
It has been nearly 6 months since the "service was provided", and not only do I not feel there was much done for that service, but I am still waiting for the report of what additional maintenance I should consider. I suspected a small leak in my flashing, but was told from on top of the roof that it was fine. (leaked noted in the heavy rain last week) When I followed up with them a few months ago for the report, I was told that they were overbooked. I got an apology, and assurance that I would receive the report/estimate, but never did. Both people were nice enough people, but I would not contact them again base don my past experience.

    Levs Construction
Roof replacement project was performed very well as far as I can tell. Very professional, patient and accommodating contractor, pleasure to work with. No hidden charges or high pressure sell and only a modest deposit required before job completion. They did have a mishap of damaging ceiling, but this was fixed promptly and thoroughly. Job finished in a timely fashion and with a complete clean-up.  Recommended!

    HOME DEPOT
This was the experience that will make sure I never use Home Depot Services again.
    - Went to Home Depot in Spring '2014 to look at doors, was told we had to pay $35 just to have someone come measure.
    - Took 2 weeks for someone to come out to take measurements, we were told we'd be contacted when the information was ready so we can pick out doors.
    - 2 more weeks went by, we didn't hear from Home Depot.
    - Called several times only to be placed on hold or told that we would be called back - we never were.
    - Showed up at the store after another couple of weeks, we were told the person who handles our file is not available, come back on another day.  This repeated another 2 times before we finally escalated and asked for a manager.  Someone else was magically able to then place our order for us.
    - It took 6 weeks for our door to arrive before we could schedule the installation.
    - The next available installation date was 4 weeks later, I'm not sure why we couldn't have scheduled in advance while the door was shipping.
    - On installation day, they installed the front door.  Then proceeded to tell me "The front door wasn't the right measurement, but we got it to fit.  There's absolutely no way we can get the back door to fit"  What was the point of the measurement then?  We were told we'd be contacted by Home Depot "shortly"
    - We called immediately on our own based on our experience so far, we got a call back a week later and were told the measurements were wrong and a custom door had to be ordered - for extra cost.  Escalation was required to get the costs dropped.
    - Another 6 weeks for the door to be shipped from the manufacturer.  This time we insisted on scheduling an appointment ahead of time instead of waiting another 4 weeks after it arrives.  We were tentatively scheduled 8 weeks out.
    - When the rear door was finally installed, it was installed differently from the front.  It was a crappy job that left pieces looking mismatched and as if it was someone's first time installing a door.
If you're keeping track of the weeks, it's now Winter '14.  We're now realizing that our doors were installed so poorly, that we had MORE drafts and cold air coming into the house than before.  The 25+ year old doors that were warped, contained no insulation were actually more effective than these brand new doors.  We called to complain and asked that the original installers NOT be sent back and new folks to come out if possible.
We stopped keeping count of weeks at this point, but someone came out what seemed promptly - in the snow.  They took a look at both doors and mentioned both didn't seem to be installed correctly.  He would file his report and Home Depot would contact us. Home Depot called us a couple days later and said parts needed to be ordered (no estimate) and that they would schedule once the parts arrived.  It was weeks before we heard from them again, but the doors were eventually redone.  We no longer kept track of the weeks, but we do remember it was warmer out now, the snow had melted but it was still cold enough for us to know the drafts were gone after they came back.  We thought..FINALLY, we're done.
    We were wrong.
Summer '15, plastic/rubber pieces around the door fell apart.  We called Home Depot, they have a installation warranty right?  Sure...
We again got a run around, Chris will call us back.  Except Chris never did, nobody did.  It was a part time job trying to track someone down to get this fixed, but once we made it a full time job.  We finally got a hold of Chris...in Fall of 2015.  We were promised the installer will give us a call to schedule it.
It is now Fall'15.  One and a half years since we decided to go to Home Depot to get new doors because the old ones were drafty. Now, they're still drafty because of the weather stripping.  Since then, our 30 year old roof developed a leak.  Based on our experience, we decided not to go with Home Depot, it has since been replaced and working perfectly.  Our driveway has been repaved.  Our gutters didn't handle the heavy winter snow, so we had gutters installed.  Two bathrooms remodeled.  Insulation added.  Oven replaced. (We decided not to give Home Depot any of the projects due to this one, all have been a much better experience)  Not to mention got pregnant, gave birth, and our kid is now learning to walk.  At this rate, we have a better chance of our child learning to fix the door before we hear from Home Depot again.
So as of today, I'm placing a call to a local door contractor.  It will cost me my own money, but I bet they will have my problem fixed before I can get this installation guarantee from Home Depot.

    Steven J Clarke
My first experience on Angie's list, it was the perfect introduction. Steve and his team were professional, friendly and very efficient. They called before they came to the house, arrived on time. Reviewed the work that had to be done and got on with the work quickly and efficiently. I had to leave before they finished, when I returned they had cleaned up, and everything was in good condition. Will use them again and certainly would recommend them to anyone needing their gutters cleaned

    W. C. Construction LLC.
During a heavy rainstorm, my wife called me down and showed me a consistent "drip, drip drip" in our living room.  After searching Angies list, I placed a call to WC Construction as well as several other companies in the area.  Shortly after, Bill gave me a call back and came out the same day to take a look at the roof.
Being my roof was at the end of it's life, we decided to replace it. Bill gave me a quote, and I was honest with him.  He was the first one out and I was going to shop around.  He was very nice about it, said he understood and off he went.   A bucket served as our fix in the meantime while we decided what we wanted to do.  There was simply no point in spending the money to fix it temporarily if we were going to replace it anyway.
After calling several places, we found Bill had not only the best reputation and references, but also the best price.  Often times we find one or the other, but being that he was both; it made our decision easy.  We called Bill and got on his schedule.  He estimated we'd be 3 weeks out, but we got lucky with the weather and he was able to be at our place earlier than expected.
On the day of, his crew came out and worked in a frenzy.  I was amazed at how fast these guys worked, but I was even more amazed at the giant hole in my roof.  The source of my leak was rotted wood that spanned 2 sheets of wood.  They replaced it and went along with the installation.
Bill and his crew had finished and left by the time my wife came home.  She looked around and asked "Did they come?"  They did a phenomenal job with the cleanup.  You could not tell just hours ago there was a dumpster, a crane, and pallets of shingles all over.  She was definitely very happy with how quickly everything was done, but more so how well the cleanup was afterwards.
The next day, Bill came over to make sure I was happy with the job.  I was, and asked Bill for an estimate for a future siding job.  We then waited 2 weeks, primarily for a big rain.  We had a couple of storms, including a not so fun tornado warning.  There wasn't one, but we got some strong winds.  Everything is as it should be, no drips, no worries.  I wouldn't hesitate to call Bill again.

Bill was very professional, and price was reasonable. The work went off smoothly. Our driveway was slightly damaged from the dump truck (we were forewarned about this).   I waited to do this review since I wanted to make sure there were no problems with the installation. No issues that I can see.

    We Clean It All Services

We purchased through Angie's list the $99 special to have our gutters cleaned.  The Service Provider was then supposed to contact us within the next couple days to schedule a time.  (Angie's list followed up to ensure the Service Provider had contacted us.  When we noted they had not.)  With this prompting, the Service Provider contacted us, offering us our choice of two appointment dates.  We chose 12/20, at 12:00, confirmed in an e-mail.  12/20 came and went, and no Service Provider.  We called, left a phone message to have them call us and also sent an e-mail.  No response.  We have since cleaned the gutters ourselves.

I'm obviously disappointed in the Service Provider and will not use them in the future.  I'm also disappointed in Angies List for promoting these specials, with Service Providers who can't live up to their commitments.
