AMagnolia Home Remodeling GroupWe had a three “room” project completed in November 2020: Framing - Removed back wall of house and part of the roof, rebuilt ceiling, installed beam, and rear wall Kitchen/Dining Room - Full gut job….new electrical, insulation, walls, floors, backsplash, appliances, paint, fixtures, etc. Deck - New from scratch. 17x17 with a pressure treated frame and timbertech composite decking, rails, balusters, steps, etc. ...since they were going to be replacing the roof where the new section was built, they also replaced our entire roof. The cost was reasonable relative to what it would’ve been to replace just the smaller portionn of the rebuilt roof. The subcontractors were all very professional and quality was high across the board. Here are the important points: -Communication - Stellar for the entire duration of the project (negotiating, permits, selections, day-to-day, inspections, etc.). Vic was our point person but had another person help when needed (permits, payments, etc.). When I needed something, it was Vic I worked with. We worked almost exclusively by text but got on phone calls when the situation called for it. -Schedule - Before we started the project, Magnolia claimed the project would take 4 months. I believe this would’ve been projected to be 3 months if we weren’t operating in a pandemic but the materials were a concern based on the initial plans the architect drew up. The entire project ended up taking 9 weeks from demo day 1 to the final inspection. Very impressive. -Pricing - Magnolia is not cheap but you’re paying for a contractor that’s experienced and proven in certain areas (e.g. kitchens, roofs, etc.) and has established relationships with the subcontractors they use. -Subcontractors and quality - Kitchen designer was flexible with what we were looking for but we had another kitchen that we used as a near mirror-image of what we wanted. The one thing that may be a concern here is that if you don’t know what you want, there might be a lot of back-and-forth to arrive at a final design. Roofers, tile/paint crew, etc. were all top notch. Overall a great experience. This was a high anxiety experience going in and Vic was professional and kept things moving very quickly and well ahead of schedule.- Anthony D.

AFlying Colors Roofing and PaintersI have used Flying Colors in the past for roof cleaning and refurbishing and painting my cedar siding. They did an excellent job then so when damage was done to my roof due to a fallen tree I immediately thought of them. I called and within a day they had someone out covering the tree and hole in my roof with a tarp to prevent rain from doing further damage. Then I needed to do serious tree removal throughout the whole property including the roof, but as soon as that was done, I called Steve Totilo the owner and within 3 days he had a crew working on the repairs and reshingling which were done in short order. The work looks impeccable and I would never hesitate to recommend him for any outside home repair or painting you might need.- Ron L.

AFlying Colors Roofing and PaintersSteven came to my house for an estimate and was early. He completely explained the entire process start to finish and if any plywood needed replacing he would photograph and send to me. The day came for the job, dumpster arrived and the crew shortly behind. I met the foreman and he too explained the process. The house was striped and 9 sheets of plywood were replaced. Then the assembly process, i was most impressed how clean they work and how fast they worked. Steven called me to let me know how the job was progressing. Once the roof was completed the gutters went on just as smooth as the roof. I would recommend Flying Colors to anyone needing a roof replaced. My yard was spotless once the job was completed. He has now completed 3 houses in my neighborhood. Thank Steven for a great job.- John C.

AWe didn't move forward doing the remodel project but MS Warraich Associates was great to work with and Hasnain Nasar, Chief Executive personally met with us and walked us through the whole process. He was very detailed and made us feel very comfortable how he approaches projects. He even offers a design service rolled into his pricing so you get added value from working with this top notch builder. All the projects he's done are of the highest quality and if we do this work in the future we would definitely use MS Warraich Associates without hesitation.

AWe have worked with Anthony from TAS Construction since 2006. He built a 2nd story addition on our home and completely remodeled the first floor. His work and crew are professional and courteous and you see right away that Anthony cares about his clients. After Hurricane Sandy destroyed the 1st floor of our home, Anthony was there to help us repair the water damage almost immediately. Fast forward to August 2020, and Anthony made time to give us an estimate for some recent storm damage in a few hours. He knows his stuff and has a great eye and ideas that look amazing when implemented. We constantly get compliments on our home and never hesitate to recommend him .

ARicardo came in originally for a kitchen renovation which included replacing the existing tile floor, as well as the hardwood floors that were on the rest of the downstairs area. However, after seeing the speed and quality of his work we decided to add further work to be done. We then asked him to also add a new crown and base moldings, paint the entire interior and then replace the old laminate flooring that were all across the upstairs. Needless to say him and his team have done an excellent job. Ricardo is very thorough and goes over every detail with the homeowner so they fully understand what will happen throughout the course of the renovation. He has a great attitude and I could not be happier that we chose him out of the handful of contractors that we had brought in to bid on the job. He was also very competitively priced so it didn't feel like we were breaking the bank when adding all the additional work. Without question I would recommend him and his crew to anyone looking to get some work done.

AAll Star started to work on the floor immediately. The team of crafts persons were very personable and courteous. They worked confidently and incredibly fast, which made me feel at ease. I felt a level of comfort and trust with the team that allowed me to leave the house unattended while they worked. I was surprised to see that they also fixed joists in other parts of the house that they felt were in need of repair. In addition they built a closet, spackled and taped the bedroom walls. They even painted the entire room, leaving it in brand new looking condition. All of these extras came surprisingly at no additional charge. Such service speaks to a level of pride and commitment All Star has to making a job look spectacular and beyond any intended expectations. All Star finished the project ahead of schedule and within budget.
