APrecision Painting Plus of Long IslandExcellent. Precision Painting Plus was not the lowest quote I got, but I chose them based on reviews, on-site meetings with them, and the overall vibe of professionalism & calm I got from them. And boy am I happy I did. They were able to pull off a mini-renovation of my new home in an impossible time frame, with holidays in between, and during a pandemic. I had work-in-progress concerns along the way, but Brendan and Matt assured me that all will go well. And it did. They were able to get so much accomplished and completed in time for my move in date, and ultimately the Christmas holiday. I am very grateful for their hard work and efforts. AETC Home ImprovementEddie Costa and his ETC Home Improvement team are the only general contractors I will work with. I have used ETC many times over several years, and I am never disappointed. Eddie is my general contractor for several rentals and my home. He put a beautiful kitchen in a shore rental, does every aspect of the construction bringing in great plumbers and electricians, too. Eddie aligns his work and subcontractors so it goes fast. He brings in locally constructed kitchen cabinets that are beautiful. Eddie is just finishing a home office addition and master closet for me, and it turned out perfect. Finish carpentry by Carlos is amongst the best I have seen. I can’t say enough about how professional Ed is, and all the team he brings in. His prices are very reasonable for the quality you will get. For major projects, you will not have to hires anyone else, he has the best on his team. I recommend Eddie and ETC at the highest level.- Joann L.

AMC Home Improvements and ConstructionWe had our upstairs bathroom renovated, with a new shower, vanity, cabinets, shelving and skylight. Kelly from MC was on time, professional and always safe with respect to COVID protocols (masks, etc.). We were always kept informed of the status of the job throughout the life of the project. But most impressive, however, was the result: A beautiful new bathroom. As we had an older home, we needed a customized shower pan, glass, etc. The communication between Kelly/MC and the materials providers (glass, saddle, vanity, etc.) resulted in minimal issues and a smooth operation with results that we are very satisfied with. ATedora IncIgor and his team were fantastic! I worked as the interior designer on the project and this was our first project together. They were able to start right away and wrapped up the project for the clients just before Christmas. The quality of work was high and his price was fair. The tile work especially was beautiful. He even brought in a sub-contractor for the countertops and I could not be happier with the result of everything. He was very easy to communicate and work with and ran everything by me which I truly appreciate. ACreatively Done Home ImprovementsI had the pleasure of meeting Kevin today. I had some damage to a non-load bearing column caused by recent high winds. The column was now loose and in danger of falling on someone or hitting the car or house. Kevin came within 15 minutes to assess the problem. The damage was not reasonably repairable and Kevin and I discussed replacement in the Spring. For now, however, he stabilized it so it wouldn’t fall. His business ethic is great. Do it right the first time. Kevin didn’t charge for this visit. I will be definitely contacting him in the Spring to replace my columns and do other projects that are planned. He’s very experienced and knowledgeable and is friendly and great to work with. I highly recommend using Kevin and Creatively Done Homes for all your projects. 😊- Lorraine B.

AFajardo General Contractor Corp.Erick Fajardo was responsive and knowledgeable. He worked with us to come up with a plan that fit our budget. We painted the stucco, replaced and painted rotted trim, replaced rotted decking on one deck with great-looking and long lasting composite. To save money, we stained but did not replace the rails that were in good shape and deferred more work on a second deck. When the rotted window, one of a matching pair, turned out to be no longer available from the manufacturer, Erick painstakingly rebuilt the window in his shop. While they were working on the house, Erick's crew cleaned the gutters and made some other minor repairs. The quality of the work was excellent and the cost very fair. I would highly recommend Fajardo General Contracting.- Janet S.

AAll of the work was done professionally and with great attention to detail. The owner “Dominick” was present each day and discussed any questions or concerns regarding this project. His two assistants were also very thorough. At the end of each day, the work area was swept and vacuumed. I was 100% satisfied. I would definitely use the services of this company again.

DWork was done fine, there was much delay that was not even explained, I had to keep asking and checking. They caused damage to wall inside and after they admitted their responsibility and promised repair, they backed up and started threatening to take me to court if I don’t pay the balance. I’m a very honest guy, working in a stressful and demanding job directly with Covid19 very sick patients, and ended up paying because I have no energy or time to argue with dishonest people or waste on such silly matters. I hired another honest guy who confirmed their responsibility for damage and will fix the wall. The damage repair is not big deal, I was offended by the dishonesty and lack of professionalism and the “take to court” threat .

AAlex Matos did a wonderful job at our house! He gave a reasonable quote, took lots of measurements on his visit and made me feel like he knew what he was doing. He designed the railings himself and did a wonderful job making and installing them. The railings are very sturdy! I highly recommend Alex Matos.
