AMata Paving and More LLCThis was a great experience. We've needed a new driveway for 30 years and when our stairs basically fell apart, we felt it was the right time. Carlos and Mata Paving had done some work for us in the past, so we felt comfortable using them again. I also spoke to some neighbors who had work done - and EVERYONE had nothing but great things to say about them. Carlos had GREAT ideas for the stairs, which were done first. They came out BEAUTIFUL, and greatly improve the look of our house from the street. The driveway work began after that, and they did a wonderful job. Their prices are reasonable, they came when promised, the workmanship was excellent. Couldn't be happier, and wouldn't hesitate to use them for ANYTHING around our house. AGil's PavingAll I can say is GREAT JOB. I had the job done in 2019 and felt like I should wait to post a review as sometimes things go bad. Not here. Gil was so good and accommodating that 3 other neighbors hired him after looking at the job he did on my front yard. All 3 had their driveways done 1 other had some pavers put in. One of the best things about Gil was he gave me suggestions that were far better than what I was thinking and didn't add cost. His crew was courteous and professional and Gil was there every step of the way. If I ever need anything like that done again I will definitely hire along with my 3 neighbors (who are not on Angies List) so technically I'm writing 3 other reviews.- Joesph V.

AMata Paving and More LLCMata Paving did an awesome job in expanding my driveway and repaving it. It was in really bad shape and awkward with the way it met some uneven ground on my lawn. They had a great plan on how to make the most use of my space and make the transition from my lawn to driveway seamless. They were great to work with from start to finish. The team did a great job on the excavation and paving. Clean up was also great and they were reasonable priced with great value. I highly recommend Mata Paving and will use them again in the future for other masonry projects.- Michele B.

AMata Paving and More LLCOverall we are very happy with the job by with Mata (Carlos and crew). The crew of about 5 or 6 worked efficiently and each member seemed competent with their respective work. There was no waiting around for instructions. They each knew what they were doing. I also noticed that they went over their work carefully, filling in where there may have been hollow spots. A-plus for that. Price is reasonable for 30x30. It included removing one of my fence posts to fit their equipment, and cementing it back in place. Quality- looks great (though I haven't used it yet), check out the before and after pics. Very punctual- as the other reviews mentioned. I gave a B for responsiveness. I was trying to schedule the job after receiving the quote and it took a few follow ups before hearing back. It turns out he went out of town. No big deal for me- just want to leave an honest review. I would hire them again.- Angelo B.

AEssex & Morris Contracting Co IncI mostly interfaced with Anthony but did speak with John and the company receptionist. All were very pleasant, professional, and super easy to work with. Anthony was understanding, patient, and helped me decide which work should be prioritized in order to stay within my budget. The Essex & Morris work crew arrived as scheduled, did excellent work, and didn’t leave a mess afterwards. I wish I had known of them the first time I had mason work done at my home as I wouldn’t have had to settle for inferior workmanship. My apologies to E&M for not writing this review sooner. The sidewalk sections and driveway asphalt paving were excellent! I highly recommend using Essex & Morris.- Vincent F.

DPrices are reasonable, but service is horrible. 1) never returns calls if there's a problem post work 2) only accepts cash...which is an issue, because if the work is bad, there's no recourse 3) made several mistakes in paving--which are leading to cracks 4) offers " free" seal coating, but you never seal coat after paving anyway. When it's time to seal coat, he never comes back. 5) Warranty is meaningless, since he never returns the calls 6) instead of concentrating on the work at hand, he goes house to house making sales pitches while his workers do a lousy job.

AI asked quote for my brother, Dominick came very quick and gave him a great estimate. Next day, all the workers showed up around 8:30AM and got my brother's driveway done. They did a very professional job. my brother’s neighbors also have Platinum Paving worked on their driveways. After my brother’s satisfactory result, Dominick came to my house and also gave me an estimate that I could not resist. I have a 250' driveway, they came around 8:15AM and got the whole driveway done around 4PM. They done a great job that was more than I expected. They even paved the area below my mail box which I did not even ask for it. That make my mail lady and I very happy. There are neighbors saw the nice job that they done and also ask them to work on their driveways. Thank you very much for the great job from Platinum Paving!!

AFrom the time that Ashley his administrative assistant contact me and told me when Mr. Jim Harrison would arrive at my house and triage my crumpling driveway he arrived on time. Spent a good amount of time reviewing my driveway then explained what he would have to do to give me a new driveway. He told me what it would cost and i agreed on the price and we agreed on the week to complete the work. The contract was mailed to me and the contract was a fair agreed upon price. H did not require a deposit prior to starting the job. With the weather optimum Ashley called me ahead of September 18, 2020 construction date so that I could clear my driveway of cars and other items. Ashley told me that Jim and his crew would be at my house ready to work at 11:00 AM and they arrived on time. When I came home after they were **** the driveway that I saw had never looked so good. Definitely 5 star work. Reasonably priced, when Jim says that he will make an appointment he keeps his word. If JRH wants to use my driveway of an example of his quality of work I would be happy to let him post on their web site or have a potential customer look at my driveway.

ACan’t say enough how carefree and easy this total front yard remodel was. It looks fantastic and the neighbors are raving. Miles and his team really restored our faith in the professionalism of the industry. We had previously attempted to have our driveway repaved by another company and it was a disaster they took our money and ran. The Delaney’s Home Improvement Company helped get us back on track, they guided us how to do the driveway properly and recommend how to make the entire front yard look great. When all was said and done, their team used professional equipment and expediency to regraded the yard, pave the driveway and the walkway with Cambridge Pavers and they sodded too. All of this was completed in one and 1/2 day. Wow and thank you.
