  • I have taken multiple cars to them and they are the best mechanics I have ever used. I have to wait to get in sometimes because they are so popular and in demand but it is worth it. I would highly recommend them and I would never go anywhere else.

  • On two separate occasions we've brought our cars in, and both times these guys let us know that while they could do the work, it wasn't necessary. One time they pointed us back to our dealer, saying the repair should be covered under warranty, and the other they let me know how I could do the repair myself for much less.
    While I've not yet provided them any business, they're sure to get it in the future due to their honestly and authenticity.
    I can't speak to the quality of their work, but I certainly am impressed with the quality of their customer service.

  • While on vacation there seem to be something wrong with the brakes on my car. Not knowing a mechanic in the area was very concerning. I called a friend who lives in the toms River area and he suggested I go to Midas. He explained that they were family-owned business, fair, professional, courteous and reliable people. He was so right! They checked my brakes, called and told me they look like they had just been worked on, that my car would be safe to drive back up north, and that I should return to the original mechanic who installed my brakes and brake pads . It was a warranty issue and he saw no need for me to pay for something that should be done for free . Being on vacation an having car problems, you're at the mercy of people you don't know. This could've been a costly venture had I gone somewhere else. We were so happy, it when we pick the car up we brought my husbands car in for a muffler repair . After they searched and searched for replacement parts they called saying replacement was not available . He offered to custom fit a new pipe and do the repair. If I could give this business five gold stars I would! Don't ever hesitate to have your car worked on here!

  • It went pretty well. They forgot to rotate the tires the first time, but they took me back in and did the rotation as soon as I called them. Very professional people--they are now my go to shop for maintenance!

  • I called Jim at Prestige Auto Services on Tuesday, May 19th to ask if they could get my car in this week for it's A service. I had planned to take it to the local dealer, and decided against it, when the dealer was anything but enthusiastic about doing the work on a car I had not purchased through them. Jim was able to get my car into his shop the next morning at opening, and within 1 1/2 hours had done the A service, had discussed with me he felt that I needed to replace the battery in the car, as the car is 11 years old, and on inspection failed the charge. He also shared with me that my tires were starting to show some tread wear, and that I would need to think about replacing them in the next 1000 miles or so. He found no other items needing "immediate attention" and was not pushing to have me do the work he suggested. I found this particularly refreshing, and agreed that I would change the battery since it had not been replaced since I originally purchased the car, and that I would wait until fall to review the wear on my tires, Additionally, he was able to do my NJ state inspection, which was incredibly convenient. All in all the cost to do the A service was around $190.00 and with the battery, it came to $425.00. Had I brought it to the dealership it would have cost me at least that amount, plus whatever else they would look to push the cost up.
    I was able to wait for the car, and drive home within an hour and a half, which I thought was exceptional. Jim was courteous, very amiable, and was a pleasure to do business with. I will go back for all my service s for both my automobiles in the future.

They are just incredibly professional, they tell you everything that needs to be done, there are no surprises, they explain everything in great detail, and it's always a friendly service. It's a very friendly environment and they are willing to answer all your questions. I will absolutely use them again.

  • Not sure if I would go back to this shop or not. They were referred by my auto insurance carrier, which is an endorsement,. They work fast and respond to phone calls, but I've received better workmanship elsewhere.
    The car's original single tailpipe bumper was replaced with dual exhaust bumper, which they later explained was the only type they could get. Paint job matches the original quite well, but has some small (tiny) bubbles which suggests that the temperature and moisture controls in that area of the shop were not properly calibrated.

  • Difficult to diagnose as the problems were intermittent.   Very easy to deal with.  Upfront about costs and options.  Loaner car is always available.  For a factory service shop, this one is pretty reasonable.
