    Landscaping By Craig Inc
DO NOT HIRE ANYONE BUT BY LANDSCAPING BY CRAIG! You will not be sorry. His work is flawless; his team is the best there is. i have used Landscaping by Craig for over 15 years now. He transformed my property into the envy of the neighborhood and maintains his work for me as well as does additional plantings every year. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to hire a landscaper who does amazing work, can be trusted 1,000%, and is the consummate professional. i have never dealt with a company so well run by an owner who is part of his customer's job from beginning to end; in this day and age, that is a rare fine. The pride he takes in his work is unbelievable and his work speaks for itself. You will not regret hiring Landscaping by Craig for all of your landscaping needs! Janet Kellett

I tell all my friends and neighbors - don't go anywhere else for your landscaping needs. Landscaping by Craig is the best in the business. I have never met a more caring, professional man who truly loves what he does and his work reflects that. His ideas are amazing, his work the best in the business. Run, don't walk to hire him. He is that **** good.

    Two River Interiors LLC
We purchased a mother/daughter house in spring 2015. The main house needed remodeling and we wanted to completely renovate the smaller unit including the kitchen and bathroom (included reconfiguring the bathroom and moving a wall). The main unit work included a remodeling to make the main bathroom senior friendly and we added central A/C to both units. We also needed quite a bit of landscaping done which included removing concrete around the pool and repaving, adding a new fence & sod, building a fire pit and plantings. Andrew and his design team worked very closely with us during the planning stage to make sure that all our needs (and wants) were being met. They did professional renderings of the space with the proposed changes and made sure that we were happy with the final product before starting on any of the major projects. Andrew did a great job from start to finish on this project and I would say he has the ability to not only focus on the larger aspects of the job but also notice the smaller details. He even went above and beyond and spoke to the neighbors during the demolition stage so that they would know what to expect which I thought was a great and I'm sure they appreciated. All of the work that Andrew's team did was of the highest quality and we trusted him to get everything done to code and to our standards. Andrew has a good network of subcontractors and other specialists in the area and coordinated every aspect of the project so we didn't have to worry about finding different people for different jobs. This was extremely important since we weren't on site while work was being completed and didn't have the time to deal with this. If at any point we were unhappy with anything he would propose a solution and try to work with us. We ran into a few unforeseen issues since the house was older (which I think happens on almost any project!) but Andrew worked with us to explain everything and made sure they were taken care of. We are extremely happy with all the work that Andrew and his team did. The guys who work with him are trustworthy and worked hard and we couldn't have done any of this without them. I can honestly say that I was so excited with how spot on the finished project was compared to the vision that I had in mind at the beginning. I would definitely recommend Two Rivers and would hire them for any other projects.

Jason (?) Arrived 10 minutes early and waited in his car until start time.  Did an excellent job cleaning up old branches, leaves, and ivy that was growing up the garage.   Bagged all the debris and had extra time so he did some other yard work.  Great personality and quality work.

    Martin A. Grant Surveying, Inc.
My wife and I first hired Martin Grant to do a survey in 2012, on a home that we decided in the end not to purchase (in Wall, NJ). He provided an excellent survey, and when our attorney told Martin that we had decided against buying that home, Martin very kindly and generously discounted his bill, which we really appreciated. Three years later, when we entered into a contract on a home in Atlantic Highlands NJ, we hired Martin again. He again provided top-notch service, this time on a property that encompassed two separate lots. His fee was very reasonable ($675), especially for someone with his level of expertise, and beyond that, Martin was totally professional, prompt and courteous. We had Martin come out once more, on March 10, 2016, to set two posts so that we could re-align an improperly aligned fence. As before, he came out when he promised, did the job properly, and took time to speak with me about boundary issues he had experienced over the years, to make sure I knew to contact our neighbors before we cut down scrub that was actually on our property but had been on their side of the improperly positioned fence. This conversation was very helpful. To sum up: Martin Grant is not only a highly skilled surveyor but a very nice person. We would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone who wants their home surveyed properly.

Total Concepts was a nightmare to deal with.  They often started a project and left us hanging for up to month, using excuses that ranged from permits done incorrectly to a death in a family of another client.  Classic case of promising you the world and delivering the bare minimum.  I wouldn't use Total Concepts again if they did the work for free, not worth the stress of dealing with these people.

    TruGreen Lawn Care - 5915
It's $71. They are prompt. They call me a head of time and let me know they are coming. They do a good job. They blow off anything off the driveway, steps or patio. My lawn looks good. If there is a problem they do response. They are here first thing in the morning. I have been using them for about 5 years now.

    Trim King Lawn & Landscaping
We used Trim King for the 2013 and 2014 seasons and were very happy with their service.
We contacted Trim King at the beginning of spring in 2013 and Ed came out and gave us a quote.
We called up and scheduled them to mow the lawn at regular intervals. The
guys showed up as scheduled and the lawn looked great. We
were very pleased with the results and will be using them again for the
2015 season. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.

    JB Sales and Service
Snowblower suffered from clogged carb from stale gas, engine wouldn't run.  Brought it up to JB on a Saturday, got a call it was done on the following Friday, picked it up on Saturday, and it ran like a champ. Charges clearly posted on a menu board at the counter. I got full Snowblower service package which included oil change, spark plug, clean carb, and check all belts, etc. for $165 plus parts and tax of course.  Staff was courteous and professional, offered advice on use and storage to avoid future problems.  So much better than the store where I bought it... bad experience there.  They offered $99 in-home service, but all they did was change the oil.  Their repair shop at the Middletown store didn't work on 8HP and larger, so they would have had to send it to a central shop which would take 3 to 4 weeks.  So glad I found JB.

    Revolution Property Maintenance
Our initial interactions were quite good.  Andrew and his employees are all nice guys and when I was there, were working hard.  Over time, I realized that what had been promised and what was actually done were not the same things.  It could be a matter of perspective, but the standard landscaping answer of "it will take 2-3 years for that to grow in" is not acceptable when spending almost $10,000 on a project.
There are entire areas that were not completed such as the edges of a hill where it wasn't smoothed out, planted with the ivy noted or even addressed.  In addition, the ivy planted is nowhere near enough to grow in within 3 years.  I will have to either plant at least the same amount again next year to have the hillside fill out and stabilized.
They left two half pallets of leftover pavers sitting in my driveway, which they were supposed to have had picked up and credit returned to me.  The yard was to have been leveled off, which was not done and the "grass" they planted turned out to be mostly weed and that is no exaggeration as I have pictures to prove it.
All in all, I am very unhappy with the results after the amount of money spent and would have to recommend that if anyone uses this company, spell out EXACTLY what you want in your contract.  If that requires the addition of photographs to show what you need, then add them so that you don't end up paying for substandard work.  As I mentioned, the guys are all nice guys, but that doesn't take away the pain of overspending for what you receive.
