I needed a certification for a gas fireplace for a CO. Brown's Heating and Cooling was recommended. The cost was so low I had doubts but was pleasantly surprised by the level of expertise and care that their service technician, Dave took. He was personable and polite and showed a good knowledge of the job. Thanks, Dave and thanks to Brown's Heating and Cooling for knowing the importance of good service. I would call them first if I needed an HVAC company!

In Jan 2019 the coldest/windy day of the year my furnace died. Called them and that same day Rob came out. He was very nice and professional and told me he would send me the estimate and within 3 days they were there with a new furnace/AC. Took all the old stuff away and were immaculate and had a good team with them that did a great job. My furnace was 38 years old and was not vented into a chimney so there were a few twists and turns with my installation. Would definitely hire them again.

We are new to the suburbs, heating oil and basically anything HVAC. they had a sticker on our furnace, so naturally I called them. I spoke with Jim himself almost instantly after calling and he was open, honest and I even explained we don't know diddly about oil. He walked me through it and delivered oil the next morning (a Monday). With the unbelievable cold I ran out of oil, I called realizing in a panic that we were out, and they sent someone right away and the service with the lady I spoke with was beyond amazing. This is one of the few instances where I didn't shop around for pricing or feel the need to, pricing is fair and service sold me instantly.

C&C Heating & Air Conditioning Home Performance
Overall a positive experience. It should be understood that in addition to Angie's List and other external recommendations, we also considered the fact that C&C is a local company as an important factor. Pricing and options were made very clear. Technician indicated that other work may be required in order to get optimal performance from the new condenser, but none was needed. In all, 3 representatives entered our home to spec the quotes and complete the work. All 3 were very respectful of our home and family and were 100% professional.

We purchased a mother/daughter house in spring 2015. The main house needed remodeling and we wanted to completely renovate the smaller unit including the kitchen and bathroom (included reconfiguring the bathroom and moving a wall). The main unit work included a remodeling to make the main bathroom senior friendly and we added central A/C to both units. We also needed quite a bit of landscaping done which included removing concrete around the pool and repaving, adding a new fence & sod, building a fire pit and plantings. Andrew and his design team worked very closely with us during the planning stage to make sure that all our needs (and wants) were being met. They did professional renderings of the space with the proposed changes and made sure that we were happy with the final product before starting on any of the major projects. Andrew did a great job from start to finish on this project and I would say he has the ability to not only focus on the larger aspects of the job but also notice the smaller details. He even went above and beyond and spoke to the neighbors during the demolition stage so that they would know what to expect which I thought was a great and I'm sure they appreciated. All of the work that Andrew's team did was of the highest quality and we trusted him to get everything done to code and to our standards. Andrew has a good network of subcontractors and other specialists in the area and coordinated every aspect of the project so we didn't have to worry about finding different people for different jobs. This was extremely important since we weren't on site while work was being completed and didn't have the time to deal with this. If at any point we were unhappy with anything he would propose a solution and try to work with us. We ran into a few unforeseen issues since the house was older (which I think happens on almost any project!) but Andrew worked with us to explain everything and made sure they were taken care of. We are extremely happy with all the work that Andrew and his team did. The guys who work with him are trustworthy and worked hard and we couldn't have done any of this without them. I can honestly say that I was so excited with how spot on the finished project was compared to the vision that I had in mind at the beginning. I would definitely recommend Two Rivers and would hire them for any other projects.

C&C Heating & Air Conditioning Home Performance
Within two weeks of moving into our new home, the existing furnace stopped. It being February and in the midst of a cold spell, we had kind of an emergency situation. After reviewing Angie's List for recs, I called C & C and was greeted quickly and pleasantly by a young woman, who set us up with a same-day appointment with one of the sales guys, Paul. Paul arrived on time that afternoon, he was careful about wearing shoe protectors to avoid getting dirt on the floor, and he interacted with me in a very pleasant and professional way. He handled all the relevant paperwork (NJ energy rebate forms, permits etc.) and answered all my questions. To my delight, Paul scheduled us for installation of the new furnace the next morning at 8 am. The installers, Nick and Ray, arrived right on time. They were excellent: efficient, respectful, friendly and professional. They worked very hard non-stop from 8 am to 1 pm and had an extremely positive, helpful and kindly way of interacting with me. This made the experience relaxing and enjoyable for us as customers. They explained the basics of the machine to me, and advised me on basic maintenance procedures. We've had the furnace for six days now, and it works very well. It's a Lennox 96% efficiency, two-stage, variable unit with a remote control iComfort panel (I like this a lot; it's fun to use off my iPhone or computer). Based on their performance so far,  I intend to have C & C come out once a year for the annual maintenance, which will also guarantee us free labor on any service issues for the next ten years. If their maintenance service is as good as their installation, I'll consider all this a definitely good deal.

Have dealt with two people from C&C - both were very professional, explained what they were doing, and were very thorough.  I would be very happy to use them again versus others I have used in the past.

    Accurate Conditioning
He arrived on time and pointed out issues with A/C including parts frozen by rust, lack of freon and where a mouse had chewed through the wiring.  Remains of electrocuted mouse still there.....   Since the unit was 20 years old he suggested replacing it rather than spend several  hundred dollars + to repair it and refill the freon....  Followed his advice and pleased with the outcome.

    Arctic Air Conditioning
The installation of the Aprilaire whole-house humidifier went very well, and has made a huge difference.
Arctic Air Conditioning sent two installers to come work on the job.  Not sure if that is there norm, but it was nice to have two guys working on the job.  Much more efficient.
When they entered my home, they immediately put protective booties over their boots to protect our floors.  And they put them back on each time they came up from the basement.  That was a nice, often overlooked, touch.
When the work was done, they took plenty of time to show me the system, how it works, how to maintain it, etc.  Also made some recommendations on the furnace itself (for maintenance) based on what they saw while they were working.
They were extremely polite and helpful.
All of their "paperwork" is handled on an iPad including credit card payment, which is also nice.
The only reason I scored a "B" for pricing is because I found the retail cost of the equipment to be around $150.  So the rest of the cost was all labor.  Im sure I could have found the job cheaper if I had shopped it around a bit more.  However, after the work was done I could care less...that's because of how great they were to work with.
Overall, perhaps not the cheapest, but well worth the cost.
