    Uncle Brian's Home Improvements
We could not be happier with our A+ experience with Uncle Brians. The level of professionalism and experience they possess was evident from our first conversation and continued through the entire project. Brian was very upfront about the process and explained it from his perspective so we understood completely why things needed to be completed in a particular order. They were very punctual each day and worked very efficiently. Their goal was to have our bathroom fully operational as quickly as possible and they succeeded. They helped us work within our budget and gave us a more beautiful bathroom than we could have imagined. We would highly recommend Uncle Brians to anyone looking for home improvement work.

    Docs Plumbing & Remodeling
Doc was great. He had to reschedule due to an injury, but kept me updated on his status and apologized several times for having push things back. Once better, he called to make a new appointment and even scheduled it later than his normal hours. He arrived a little early and was extremely professional. He made quick work out of the job. His workmanship, demeanor, professionalism and general attitude were all great. I'd happily use him again.

    Tri-State Creations LLC

After the purchase I was in contact  with Tri- State in regards to having them come out to fix a lose gutter, replace a small piece of siding, replace a bulb on an outdoor spotlight and if time permitted, change a regular outdoor light to a motion detector light.

The first question I asked when I spoke with someone was if they serviced Atco, NJ where I lived as it was a decent drive.  I made him aware if not, I totally understand and would out in for a refund.  He said they do and we proceeded to schedule a visit.

The company rep said how they do it is they come out first to see what work we want done then schedule the day to do the work. He also said what I wanted done was minor work and he wanted to know if we had any major projects we can give an estimate on.  I was not happy about having to free up two days but for the price I was going to go with it.  I told him I am considering re-doing my downstairs bathroom so I wouldn't mind an estimate on that.  I made him aware I was going away the week between 8/16-8/22 so the second appointment would have to be the week of 8/23 or later.  We scheduled an appointment for someone to come out on 8/13 between 630pm- 7pm.

On 8/13 I get a call close to 6pm from "Chris" from Tri- State saying he missed my exit and based on the GPS its saying he wont be at my house for 2.5 hours.  We have small children who would be getting ready for bed or in bed at that time and he said the office will call me to reschedule.

I did not hear anything so I called from vacation on 8/18 and I let them know what happened last time ( driver missed exit) and that I just wanted the work done ( 4 hours of contractor work), no estimate on any work.  I was put on hold and then told someone will call me to schedule that.

On 8/27 I still did not get a call to schedule so I called the company and left a voicemail asking for a call back as if we cant get a date I want a refund  The guy on the phone said they were really backed up from the deal.  No apologies, no date,  nothing.  He just told me I had to go through Angie's List to get a refund.

My opinion is the goal of the $149 was to get major work from anyone who purchased.

One of the technicians came out and was 15 minutes early. He explained to me over the phone what he was going to do as I was at work and my wife was handling the call. He did a nice neat job and fixed it quickly. Thank you for your quick response in our time of need !

    C & P Home Remodeling
My experience with C & P Home remodeling was amazing! They were very professional and neat and very honest which was awesome. They told me every possibility that could happen when they were tearing out my old stuff. They got my bathroom ripped out and all the work done in about 4-5 days. They were very well mannered . My friend actually referred them to me they had done a lot of work for her so I gave them a call. I couldn't be any happier ! my bathroom looks amazing. in a couple of months I am going to get some work done on my kitchen and would not think about calling anyone else! Also the price was awesome compared to some other prices I received!!

Statewide Environmental Services LLC - Septic
These guys are awesome. They are *VERY* knowledgeable and won't lead you on or try to sell you a service that you don't need. My system was 35 years old and I've never had a problem but I did have 2 laterals that were clogged with tree roots. They worked all day at it and were able to fully clean out and restore all laterals to original working condition. I can't speak highly enough of Brendt. These days there are too many corrupt contractors that just want to sell you a new field even when you don't need one just so they can make lots of monay on you. This is not Brendt. Brendt knows his job and was the most knowledgable person of MANY contractors that I spoke too. They provided the full restoration service, which was and quot;Full septic restoration. Inspect system, pump tank, hydrojet, map out system using cameras down the laterals in the septic field, clean out clogged laterals, refracture soil, apply chemicals to laterals'. They fully restored my system to original working condition and saved me the cost of putting a new septic field in when others kept telling me that was my only option. Thanks to Brendt I saved thousands of dollars.

As we're trying to sell our house, AJC represented our buyer's septic inspector.  AJC did not follow NJ guidelines for septic
inspection and performed an illegal load test on my occupied home.   Load tests are only to be performed on vacant houses to simulate the normal daily usage of the septic system.  On an occupied home, when the tank and dbox is opened up, the absorption area is evaluated by the way it reacts to the load imposed by the occupants and only visual inspection is to be performed to make sure that the system is functioniong properly.
Basically AJC stuck a hose line in my distribution box illegally, waited until the field was saturated and the laterals no longer drained, then marked my entire septic system as unsatisfactory.  This is very unprofessional and a violation of NJ regulations.  I have spoken with numerous inspectors and certified county engineers and they all have agreed with me that this type of test should NEVER have been performed on an occupied home as the results are inconclusive being that the field is already in use.  Also AJC did not provide an official NJ inspection report either.  Those reports are normally 7-9 pages in length and very detailed showing everything about the system.  This inspection basically just sent a 3 sentence email saying the laterals were not draining and the system was unsatisfactory and recommended to the buyers that I (the seller) install a whole brand new septic system.
Unfortunately the buyer's are still demanding a brand new septic field because they have no idea that my septic system is actually fine and and they don't even realize they got ripped off on their inspection and were provided a meaningless report by AJC.  In their eyes a septic inspector told them it was unsatisfactory and it has them spooked. We're still negotiating and I am refusing to install a new septic field considering the inspection performed was illegal.  Also, under NJ regulations even if a load test was to be performed, they would need my consent first  to do such a test which they did not have.  In addition, NJ regulations specify if the water source for the test is to come from my well, they again need additional consent to use my water.  They had neither . The reason load tests are illegal on an occupied home is because basically they completely saturate the field until it stops draining and starts to back up into the septic tank.  This is a HUGE health hazard on an occupied home bc now if my family were to take showers and baths the entire septic system could start backing up into the house creating a very hazardous situation.    Even after completely saturating my field, AJC performed no inspection to determine the reason why the laterals stopped draining (obviously this was due to him saturating it for 20 minutes).  Even if this was a credible inspection, the next step would have been to pump the system then snake a camera down the laterals to see if there is anything clogged or broken.  Once again AJC did not following NJ regulations and did not perform an official septic inspection.  This was an occupied home where my family already had multiple showers and baths early in the day, as well as this septic inspection was performed the daily after a torrential rainstorm.  NJ regulations specific that recent weather should be noted.  NONE of this was noted on the septic "3 line email" (aka again not an official inspection report), thus again not following NJ regulations for septic inspections. (I'm losing count of how many rules were broken and guidelines not followed)
This contractor is either extremely poor at his job, or just a dirty contractor who intentionally wanted to fail the system.  In either case, everyone should stay far away from AJC.  Honestly, I don't know how this contractor holds a license.  He probably should be reported to the health department for his gross negligence and fraudulent-like operation and we really have enough credible information to lawyer up and file a lawsuit against AJC if we really wanted to.   my recommendation would be to STAY AWAY FROM THIS CONTRACTOR.

Workmanship, quality and over-all completion of both projects was excellent. On time and on budget. Employees were great to work with, did a great professional job. They maintained communications with us throughout the project and were responsive to any questions we had. Workmanship was well done, they worked with care and always maintained the work area, cleaning up as they moved along.
