  • I made an appointment for an oil change and said I'd have to wait for my car and would have to be out of there in time to get to work. I was told it would be 45 minutes (their web site says 30 minutes), which would give me time to get to work. When I got there the morning of my appointment, I had to look for someone to take my keys and check me in - person 1. I walked around and waited. Someone - person 2 - worked on my car, but at times no one was working on my car. It was 55 minutes by the time my car was pulled out of the service bay and parked. I had to ask - person 3 - if it was done as no one came to tell me. Person 3 seemed to take his time writing up my receipt. Then charged me $44.64 (plus tax = $47.60) for an oil change! $47 [Others in the area charge $32-$35.] That included 3.75 quarts of oil at $4.49 per quart. My owner's manual says my car takes 3.4 quarts of oil. 60 minutes after I got there I go to get in my car... there were black smudges on the outside of the white driver's door, the interior of the car smelled like motor oil, and the old windshield decal reminding me when I was due for an oil change was removed but was not replaced. So, for the first time in 37 years of driving I have no reminder as to when the next oil change is due. Person 2 seemed knowledgeable. But overall service was very poor. And I felt taken advantage of.

  • My Honda Crv A/C was working sporadically. I had already recharged it. No change. Research indicated that condenser failure on these vehicles is common. Rick's was great. They advised me on ways to keep the cost down. Fixed it in one day. Cost with an Angies list coupon was under $1000, which is about what I expected. Really nice staff!

  • These folks are good, and a pleasure to deal with.  They have a preferred relationship with my insurance company.  I really didn't have to do anything but drop off the car.  They coordinated with the adjuster, did the repair, sent me texts every couple days with updates on progress, coordinated with rental car agency, and, last but not least, did a great job.

  • Complete exhaust system on my 1991 Toyota pickup. It was a big job and Mike was awesome. He also did a lot of work on my VW TDI. Don't ever go to another diesel mechanic if Mike is available! Great prices, great work, and a really nice guy.

  • Good service and probably the best in the area if you are looking for certified Honda service. Reliable and complete. Easy to schedule time but not the best communication while the service was being performed.

  • We have been going to Clinton Honda for years for all of our service needs. It is possible to find lower prices from other service providers but they do a quality job and we trust the mechanics and service staff who work there. They will accept local and appropriate coupons for service so their prices can be competitive. The key issue for us is reliability, quality, and trust. We've bought cars from them, trust them, and have never had any concerns or issues with the quality of work they do.

  • We have slightly unusual tires on our minivan and have limited options for manufacturers. The representative suggest Hankook tires. After reviewing them online, we inquired about noise (some people mentioned it). The representative said they hadn't had any complaints. The price was highly competitive and the tires reviewed well online so we had them installed. The wait was long, so we had to walk across the street and find some shops and restaurants to pass the time. The tires were installed about an hour after we were told they would be done. As a whole, the tires ride well and are a quality product. However, the online reviews were correct - the tires are noisier than the Michelins. Knowing what we know now, we still would have purchased the tires but it would have been helpful to have more information and it would have been nice not to have had to wait so long. The waiting area is not particularly interesting. We went back to have a tire rebalanced and they did it free of charge (we get free rotations too). The wait was shorter for the re-balancing. Overall, we would continue to buy tires and automotive services from Pep Boys. The people are friendly enough and the products and services are competitively priced.

  • The staff and technicians at Flemington Subaru are all friendly, customer service oriented, and efficient. We've bought multiple cars from the dealer and have had all of our service work done there. You can find lower prices on service elsewhere but we trust the quality and reliability of the work they perform so we prefer to keep going back to Flemington Subaru. They finish the work when they say it will be done and we've never had issues with the quality. They've also been responsive and flexible to ensure they always meet our needs and expectations.

  • We gave two older cars, 626 BMW and 928 Porsche.  Oldwick has been servicing these cars for over a decade.  I gave an "A" for price not because they are inexpensive but because they do the job thoroughly, correctly, and standby their work.  They stick to the manufacturer's recommendations and need.  For example, it was three years before they tuned the Porsche because of the low millage. 
    There is no uncertainty when dealing with their staff.
