They delivered the bed when they said they would, but there is something wrong with the storage bed underneath.  I have called the customer service dept and I kept getting the run around.  Finally after setting an appointment for some one to come out and look at it, they did not show up.  After calling to complain , they said that it was during the holiday weekend and that they were not coming out that weekend.  I was told a manager would call me 2 days ago and I still have not gotten any calls

    A Furniture Guy
I struggled to find someone that repaired recliners.  I started by contacting the manufacturer which was located in Canada.  They were no help at all.  When I found A Furniture Guy through Angie's List he said he was not in my area much but he would give me a call in a few days.  He kept to his word and called back and came to my house a few days later.  Also, he came on a Saturday which was convenient for me because I work during the week.  Dave was very pleasant and extremely competent.  I would highly recommend him!

We have been looking for years to replace our 35 year old "perfect" deck furniture. But everything new was oversized and too conspicuous for the space. I discovered The Southern Company via a net search (their web site describes exactly what they do).

Our old furniture was high quality but "very used" and weather worn. I called The Southern Company and spoke  with John McCudden who knew by my description of our furniture, the name brand and the fact the manufacturer is no longer in business. He quoted prices over the phone and promised to send me samples of the vinyl strapping for me to select my preferred colors, which I received promptly. (The chairs were $185 each, The table base was $135, the wheeled rolling carts were $240 each). The Southern company is located just outside Philadelphia and provide service to all of New Jersey. We arranged for the Southern Company to pick-up our furniture at  their next scheduled visit to our northern NJ area. They picked up our furniture within a week or so (we did not have a long wait.)

I had our white furniture painted black and the vinyl strapping is also black with grey accent strips. We received the completed furniture today (9/25/2014) and it looked perfectly new and beautiful. The carts, likewise, are beautiful with the broken wheels replaced.

The timing of pick-up to delivery was long and I expected it to be longer than normal because I was told that my request for a black, fiberglass table top (without center hole) would be a special order for them to obtain from the manufacturer. (They had white fiberglass tops readily available.) They still have not received the table top, and we agreed to the return of our furniture (which had been done long ago) and they will deliver the table and new top, when they receive the top.

I enjoyed dealing with The Southern Company (spoke with several different folks there: John, Pat, Tom and Katie) and believe the company's caliber of work and customer service deserves Angie's List recognition.

    Gutierrez Upholstery
They did a fabulous job on my grandmother's chair. They took such great care of this antique. They brought material samples right to my house. They picked the chair up and dropped it off when finished. I will definitely use them again!!!

    Eamonn's Upholstery Shop
They are very good to deal with. Their shop is welcoming, clean and friendly. Their work is super. Turnaround time was exceptional (1 week for me from pick up to return of my furniture). Absolutely LOVE my new sofa/loveseat. I definitely would recommend Eamonn's Upholstery Shop.

Wow where to begin. Needed all new appliances for a kitchen remodel. Went to a few places and then back to Renos where we met salesperson Ari who was very accommodating. We got a range and a dishwasher for about 4,500 on a range and then went back to get the range hood. Salesperson Ari told us about the great deals he had on floor models and steered us in that direction. We picked a floor model, saved a bunch of money and then spent the next three months trying to get all the pieces.
I dont have the energy to detail the problems but our installer came 3 times to install the hood and each time found another problem (wrong pieces, missing pieces, parts that looked right but didn't fit). Each time I called I got the apology and the assurance that this would be the last time. Then we would take the next step and find another issue. Suddenly Ari not so accommodating and impossible to reach by phone or email.
Never in my life have I had such a terrible customer experience, after the 4th screw up they offered to come and install it for me - by that time I was ready to run it over in their parking lot so returned the whole thing.
Bought another hood from a reputable company and had it installed in no time. Would NEVER buy anything from Renos again - before you buy google their name and you will see a lot of bad customer experiences (wish I did that - Angies didnt have enough on them at the time).
Price was good but cost me WAY more in the end, both paying my installer for wasted time and the fact that the entire kitchen completion (permits, etc) was delayed based on their complete incompetence. At one point they sold me a wall vent and told me it was a roof vent.
If you are looking for cheap, right place to go - as long as your customer service expectations are very low and you have lots of time to waste. AVOID

Jeff is just a great artisan and very nice guy. He repaired some dings and cracks that happened to our furniture during a move. He did a beautiful job and his work is meticulous. You cannot tell where the damage was on all but one piece. He also refinished two bedroom sets that were showing serious signs of wear and made them look like new. They are so beautiful now. He spent at least four hours getting out all the scratches and imperfections. Lastly, we had lost the wood pieces to our queen sleigh bed that support the mattress. Jeff made new ones in no time flat, and they work great. He worked on some antiques as well. I don't think there is any woodworking task that he couldn't do. He is very neat, conscientious, and honest.
