His crew were all very professional and courteous. They worked extremely hard and were very attentive to details. I am an interior designer and a bit of a perfectionist and they not only met my expectations but exceeded them. It's very rare that I say that.     This is a copy of my last correspondence with this company. It speaks for itself. You should know that all of the work was completed in a timely manner. These people care about their customers. 4/18/2011 Community Landscape 1435 Center Street Wolfeboro, NH [03894] Phone: (603) 569-6424 Fax: (603) 569-0342 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Dear Phil, I have signed and enclosed your Recommendations List for 2011 and would like to add the following: 1. Spring Clean Up: Yes. A. In addition, please dig out the drainage basin at the culvert pipe in the NW corner and blow the street and driveway clear of sand and gravel. B. Allot of rock was thrown onto the lawn by the snow blower as there was a Rookie operator (me) behind the machine. Sorry. I picked up allot of the rocks but it would be good to get the rest before the grass gets to long to insure that your mowers are not damaged. C. I assume that you will be picking up the stick and branches that fell over the winter. D. I would really like to reset and/or replace the bed borders, in the back yard, as requested last year. Please visually inspect at your convenience. 2. Garden Maintenance: Yes A. Same as last year with a new twist (see below). B. Thanks to you and your team for your efforts on the Fern and Astilbe project last year. It failed as you predicted but that is our fault. However, she insists on achieving her goal. I would like to proceed, as you originally suggested, with fully grown plants. Lets get together and form a plan before you proceed. C. Have Teresa kill the HORSE TAIL. I have a case of the spray you gave me here at the house. I will pursue this on my own as time permits. 3. Spring Cultivation: Yes. Continue as suggested. In addition, the mulch worked great last year! Lets do it again. 4. Weekly Maintenance (lawn mowing): Yes. Continue as before but make sure the boys trim/edge everywhere. 5. Fertilization Program: Yes. Do all that you suggested and be sure to do the front and back yard. 6. Pruning of Landscape Material: Yes. Same as before and as needed. 7. Over-seeding: Yes. Same as before as needed. In addition, there are some areas in the front, south and back yard that are completely dead (My fault again) and I would like to reseed in early spring (see photos). 8. Aeration: Yes. Same as before and as needed. We did this last year and it helped allot. 9. Top Dress: Yes. If the front yard needs it do the back yard too. We did this last year and it helped allot. 10. Brush Hog entire perimeter of the property in the fall: Yes. This worked great last year. Lets see what happens this year. She will most likely what you to do it again. 11. Fall Clean Up: Yes. Same as before. Again, I would like to thank you and your team for wonderful job you did for us last year. We look forward to seeing you.

    2 workers were sent with a one ton dump truck load of mulch. They arrived shortly after 8 AM . I went out in my wheelchair to introduce myself as neither of them had come to the door and the owner did not show up. At noon they were loaded and ready to leave as they said they were scheduled to go to another job. I had asked that all my flower beds be cleaned and new mulch added. I did not point out certain beds I specifically asked that they all be done. They had not even touched one of the beds and had not given any suggestions for improving the beds. I asked them to clean and mulch the neglected bed and they reluctantly did some of it as they only had enough mulch left to do the job they were supposed to be going to. The owner arrived (he had not come earlier with his men) came to the door, and asked for his $1000. I assumed that since we had not walked the beds and that they were going to another job he would reschedule them to finish the job and work more hours because the labor at that point certainly didn't come to the $600 he was charging me. Since he had said they usually asked for 1/2 down and 1/2 once the work was in progress I paid him the $1000. He then walked some of the gardens and his employee gave ideas for moving some of the plants from crowded areas to areas that needed them. The employee made a few suggestions and the owner then informed me that they could come back to finish the job but would have to charge me $34/ hour, per man plus materials to finish. So I received the one ton dump  load of mulch @ $400 and I had 2 men for 4 hours @ $34 per hour for $272 for a total of $672. They were scheduled for 4 hours only and any additional time would cost me extra. I believe $672 is $328 short of $1000. I am therefore owed $328 in labor or materials or cash back. After they left I asked my sister to come by to see how they had done. She dug in a few places in different gardens and found that the weeds were still there for the most part and that there was barely an inch of new mulch. I finally emailed the owner on the 22nd as I did not get any answer by phone. I told him in the email of my concerns. I did no get a reply until the 26th. The email began with " Sorry for the delay I was out of town on a small vacation. " It went on to tell me I would have the last bed finished ASAP and the remaining concerns I had would be taken under consideration. I have copies of all the emails and will gladly show them to anyone that would like to see them. It is now the 15th of June and I have not seen or heard from A&P Landscaping and weeds are over powering the beds they were supposed to have cleaned. I have been told they will not step foot on my property again so I would appreciate at the very least, a refund of $328. As for the rest of the consumers out there, if he would do this to me, a man in a wheel chair, he will most certainly do it to anyone. I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your landscaping needs.
