That turned out well. I had them install a ceiling fan and a couple of wall lights too. Just one electrician came out and it took about 2 hours. I purchased the ceiling fan and wall lights and he had all the equipment with him to install those. The price of the Big Deal was quite the bargain. If Angie's List would allow it I would give them an A- overall, because he did leave some scrap wires laying around.

Francis was great on time and very friendly and professional, cleaned up after his work and questioned things that were needed. Besides he was a good guy and seemed very honest. The best was that everything work perfect that he installed. We will definitely use him again and strongly recommend him

We didn't want the 16' deck to be replaced in kind; we wanted that space to be a 3-season porch with a deck added on. We gave him a list of our wants, he visualized what that area could become and we just said, "run with it" because he has never disappointed us with his smart designs. He's in the process of completing an 18' x 16' 3-season porch (with the possibility of it extending into a 4-season porch) which consists of 7 crank-out windows and 2 sliding doors; one slider to the back yard and the other to our new 16' x 16' attached deck. The deck is constructed out of a man-made product and vinyl railings, no muss/no fuss maintenance! The walls, floor, and ceiling of the room are insulated and sound proofed, the walls and ceiling are covered in pine, the cathedral ceiling sports a beautiful fan/light combo, the pot lights over each slider provides enough lighting for safety, and we even have an electrical outlet to heat our winter bird bath. We can't wait to sit out there and watch the sun set or the deer eat their cracked corn dinners! This company is amazing and I'm sad that we have now run out of projects to be worked on!

Affordable Fans - The Fan Doctor
He was very efficient and competent. Besides doing the fan removal and installation, he also will mail parts anywhere in the country if needed, so took the old fan parts to be re-used if possible. Mr. Roberge is an excellent resource for any information on ceiling fans and is a licensed electrician. I wish I had found him sooner.

Francis Aube gave me an estimate for ceiling fan removal & new unit installation. He was very reposensive by email & phone and was on time. He was efficient & precise in the removal & installation  of the new fan. He even patiently explained switching options for controlling the new fan. He stuck with his estimate - I recommend that you work with this electrician!

Francis brought his son to help with our job, and both were extremely nice and professional. Their ceiling fan installations were both perfect, even though they were clearly more challenging than most. They left us with a completely clean house and a warm feeling...we'll definitely call O-Bees again when we need electrical work done!

On 3/24 Mark emailed to reschedule to 4/4 due to "problems with the company truck"; on 4/3 I emailed Mark to reschedule because the fan down rod had not been delivered yet, he was booked up on 4/11 but offered 4/18. The evening prior to the 18th I called mark to again make sure he is equipped to get up into a 16' cathedral ceiling. He told me he was planning on only sending his apprentice by himself at which time I questioned why I was getting his apprentice when I chose him on Angie's list due to the good reviews for him, not his apprentice and whether his apprentice could do the job solo being a 16' ceiling. We had a lengthy conversation about the 16' cathedral ceiling and assured me his apprentice can do the job and that he doesn't go up on ladders that high anymore anyway so he would only be standing at the bottom of the ladder. We agreed to have the apprentice still come solo. Within 15 mins he called back to say that his apprentice had called out sick today and just called out sick again tomorrow so he had to reschedule and this time make sure that he himself will be there with the apprentice. We rescheduled for 5/2. When they arrived, the first thing he did was to "measure the ceiling height himself". At which time he rudely informed me it measured "17 feet, 2 inches" and told me he only brought a 12' ladder on the truck and said he would have to rent scaffolding. I questioned why did he not say that on the lengthy phone call if he couldn't do it. He then told me to contact Angie's list to request a refund and tell them he "respectfully declined the job." I questioned again and this was the point where he became belligerent and raised his voice at me in front of my 3 and 5 yr little boys and my husband at work. It ended with him just turning around and walking out of my house with "Have a nice day Ma'am." I would never recommend this company.
