    Plymouth OB/GYN
I have been using Plymouth OB/Gyn since I found out I was pregnant. I am considered moderately high risk due to my age and other medical conditions. They were able to see me the day after I took a home pregnancy test and have been available whenever I have needed them for anything. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and the 3 doctors and the PA are all very well versed on my various conditions... They have all made my pregnancy fly by!

    Andover Obstetrics & Gyn.
The office is great. It is easy to get appts, they have offices in Andover, Haverill, Lawrence as well as Salem, NH. Dr Polonsky is very down to business and nice. Dr Saks is very caring and nice. and Michelle Young the NP is great. The nursing staff is very nice and get back to me in a timely fashion with all my questions.

    Plymouth OB/GYN
Well I went there and i saw mostly Dr Banister. Hes funny and sings alot to people. It was alittle odd but I think that was what made him alot of fun and helped me relax. Dr Stack and I didn't really see eye to eye and I tried very hard not to see her when I went to my appointments. I was admitted to the hospital on March 29 by Dr Stack because my blood pressure was high. I had a harder time with this pregnancy than I had with the others and they were talking about a C-section which scared me and I really didnt want one. Dr Banister had agreed to let me try to have him naturally so I was super happy. But Dr B was away that weekend. Luckily the next Dr Ebner was on call for the weekend. At first he was concerned about my ability to give birth naturally because of the babys size. He was willing to give me a chance. He was calm and everything went well. My sweet little boy was born healthy at 10:17 pm at 9 pounds 10 ounces and yes naturally. The baby and I were fine and Dr ebner was wonderful. I would totally want him to deliver any other children I have or any other needs I may have. I had a great experience there and they are a onderful, caring group of people and I thank them so much for all the care I recieved!

    Dr. Robbins
Dr. Robbins is incredibly detailed, and makes sure you understand everything he explains. He truly cares about you, and getting you better. I saw him first on December 30th, and had surgery (laparoscopy) on 1/22 to remove and excise severe endometriosis. He is the ONLY specialist in this area who properly removes the disease. Before having multiple surgeries, I would see Dr. Robbins first. He did only my second surgery, but it will be my last. He is kind, caring, and exceptional in his treatment for endo as well as other GYN related issues.

    Saks, Dr. Elise E.
I chose Andover OB on the recommendation of a friend who saw Dr. Saks. Beginning with my first appointment, she was 30 minutes late in seeing me, and at one appointment, I waited 50 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. Once I found out I was pregnant, my husband and I chose a homebirth midwife as our primary care provider with Andover OB as a backup for prescriptions and any emergency treatment that might be necessary (homebirth midwives in MA do not have prescribing rights). I cleared this with the RN I saw at my first prenatal appointment with Andover OB. After being diagnosed with hyperemesis after having been in and out of the ER, I needed a prescription for Zofran. Andover OB gave me the most difficult time obtaining the prescription, even with Dr's ER reports and my midwife calling. They insisted on seeing me, gave me a 30 day prescription and then sent me a letter terminating their relationship with me as my healthcare provider, citing that I was using a midwife as my primary care and could not use them as back up. The entire time that this went on, I honestly felt (for the first time in my life) discriminated against. I was discriminated against for using a homebirth midwife, and from the moment I told them that was my intention, I got nothing but negative comments and encouragement to make a different decision. When it came down to it, they literally let me go as a patient because of their lack of knowledge and research on homebirths and homebirth midwives. I have never been treated so poorly by a healthcare provider's office- the nurse who answers the phone (MaryAnne) is the most negative and nasty nurse I have ever dealt with. I would NEVER choose to have my child under the care of such people. The silver lining of all of this is that I found out early enough that I could choose a better, healthier and more caring provider (Northshore Birth Center in Beverly MA...I can't recommend them highly enough!!!). I urge you to do your research before settling on sub-par health care, such as I received from Andover OB/GYN.
