    This is for the Aubuchon Hardware Store in Moultonborough, NH, not Center Sandwich. The manager of this store is Mark Tuckerman. Mark is very knowledgeable about garden supplies, plants, grass seeds, fertilizer. This store also is a good source of all kinds of hardware and paint. The staff is friendly and they know their products. Prices are a shade higher than at "big box" stores such as Home Depot, but they have the advantage of being local. They also are a good source of information about service providers in the area.

    We went to Caron on Sunday to look for carpeting for our stairs. We were assisted by Pete, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in choosing the right carpeting for our project and budget.  The next day, he came out to the house with the intaller to measure,and today, the carpeting was installed!  It was so easy to deal with Caron from start to finish, and I would recommend them to anyone!

    I have got a good deal for a refrigerator at Home Depot Inc, I got it on a sale. It actually worked out pretty good, so far so good, everything is running well. The guys were great, they were very professional, got in and out in no time. He was very knowledgeable, answered couple of questions I had, it was really good.

    I go to this store whenever possible for home improvement and lawn & garden needs. I have bough little things here, from seeds for my vegie garden (non-GMO!) to my lawn mower. Always, always very happy with the service and prices are equal or better than "big box" stores.

    MB has the lock on Kubota tractors in the NH lakes region area, so negotiating on price is impossible, but they are good at working with you, listening to what you want and helping to find solutions.  I wanted a root grapple bucket and independent 3rd function hydraulic set up as part of the specs.  They found a vendor to supply the 3rd function, and worked with them on installation to fit the grapple bucket needs. It appears they'd not done one of these set-ups before.  They let me have shipped to them a grapple from a vendor they don't distribute for so that they could attach and test the 3rd function and didn't hit me with a loading dock charge or other surcharge to make up for fact they didn't make any money on the grapple bucket sale.  Always got timely follow-up calls from the sales person before and after I bought the tractor.  Delivery was right on time to the day.  If you've got to deal with a company that has a monopoly on the local market, it's nice to find that they have solid customer service and follow through as promised.  All in, they've been good to do business with so far.

    Not good Salesman charged an extra $5,600 to remove everything in the kitchen on Monday and have it all back in on Friday so that we could be open for the weekend.He promised movers,a plumber,who also does gas fittings and an electrician. On Monday only two floor installers showed up,same on movers or technicians so my crew and the two floor guys started unloading everything we could.On Wednesday the techs showed up to unhook gas and electric but my crew had to do all the moving....some equipment weighs over 800lbs. By then we were three days into it and the floor installers lost two days and couldn't finish by Friday. We lost about $7,500 in sales and ran a $5,600 payroll,about half of which involved moving we also paid over $800 to the plumber and electrician thinking we would be reimbursed as promised..In addition,the plumber refused to hook up the four fryolators due to a UL violation that was not accurate but still,we had to bring in our own gas tech..We reopened on Tuesday In fairness,the subcontractor that did the floor,Tehan Flooring, did an excellent job.Their installers went above and beyond to help when no one else showed up from Boulia-Gorrell We gave them a down payment of $10,800 and went down to pay the balance on Wednesday. They were aware of the problems and losses we incurred so I asked them if they were willing to discount the job a little. The answer was absolutely not....and here's why. They said that the salesman,instead of using Boulia-Gorrell subcontractors for the moving,had gone outside of their system and had made other arrangements and that they had FIRED him as a result.I explained that they certainly had responsibility for his actions if he was working for them at the time He totally botched the job and the cost was great to us but they would not budge a single dollar so we paid them and left.
