They were awesome can the day after we called moved the washer up to the second floor in less then 10 minutes. Hooked up the washer and placed the dryer into the stop it need to go in. Fast, friendly , and would call them again.

    Nationwide Van Lines Inc
The absolute best customer service. So great I want to especially mention Laurie who took all of my calls, called back as promised and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Rick was my contact just before pick-up and then throughout delivery. Great guy and kept me happy all the way through. Our driver was Harold. Wow. Hard working, positive and an expert. Could not be happier with the service I received.

    3 E International Inc
Generally done with courtesy and speed, but details missed and minor damage dismissed. Toilet used by mover clogged and unreported, several door hinges not replaced, minor damage to wall shrugged off (patched and painted by me the next day). However, bulk of work was efficient and in good order.

    Roadrunner Moving & Storage Inc
From the initial contact all way until the last item was brought into our new house, the experience with Road Runner was fantastic. We received a reply to our initial request for information on the same day. One of the owners contacted me directly and set up a time to come out and review my house and belongings. He arrived on time and spent about an hour at my house going through all the details as well as providing moving tips and suggestions. The quote arrived on time and under budget compared to the other moving companies I had quotes for. Communication was excellent, as the owner responded to emails and texts at all times of the day throughout the entire process. Since I needed storage for 2 weeks, they suggested I use a third party self-storage facility rather than their own storage as it would save me money, which I respected their honesty and concern for my budget. The team that performed the move were absolute experts and extremely personable and professional. They took great care to ensure everything was wrapped tightly and secure. They were efficient in loading and unloading the truck and got the entire job done under the time that was quoted. I was so pleased with the team that I requested the same team to come back when it was time to move out of storage into my new house. This company also does not nickle and dime you with fees and surprises, their pricing is fair and straight forward. I highly recommend this company for moving and storage services.

    Manny's Trucking
Sometimes things happen for a reason. I moved this week. I had a company lined up when they called and said "can't do it" on the sole day everyone was already planning on. My daughter found Manny's Trucking on Angie's list. He had a good reputation so we called and he agreed to do the job. Manny has about the best crew I've ever met. They come in and work with you to create a very friendly and efficient environment. They moved our player piano to one address, and the bulk of our 'stuff' to another, plus a stop at our storage facility. The cost was about the same as the first company, except Manny included the removal of an old washer/dryer. I'm writing this review after using Manny and his crew again, this time for large scale junk removal (long story, not for here). They did another fantastic job and efficiently removed what needed to go. Manny employs a crew of 4 people plus himself. They all work together like a well oiled machine. They also work HARD. Moving stuff isn't an easy job, but they do it with speed and yet a high degree of care. Manny is an expert at Tetris. I've never seen him play the game, but I've seen him organize his truck, and he's a master at it. This means it costs less, folks, just to be clear. Funny, I went to my bank (DCU, also happy with) and ended up talking to an officer there who recently moved and used Manny's Trucking. She was also extremely pleased. Manny, I think you should have a DBA called Manny's Moving or something like that, but then again, you seem to have a great many people that keep you well employed. BTW, Manny has several different trucks ... I don't want to give the impression that your family heirlooms are in the same truck as people's trash!

Gentle Giant Moving & Storage Somerville
It was a nightmarish experience.  The move was very difficult as I was in the middle of downsizing from a three bedroom and needed a lot of help with packing and moving which I was willing to pay for but did not receive.  It was a long and arduous move involving long hauls on an small elevator on the fourth floor..   One overzealous, manic mover ran through my brand newly built apartment and destroyed a drawer and cabinet unit in the kitchen island. The drawer and cabinet door were ripped off the unit.  The company did try to rectify the situation after several phone calls and long emails to the owner.  I was reimbursed for damages and they sent someone several weeks later to fix the kitchen island damage.

The move had to be completed the next day by renting a UHAUL van and hiring extra help to finish the job as the company left me hanging.  The movers left at the end of the day and did not return to pick up the remaining items after their supervisor said they would be back to complete the job.  What an experience!

    City Haul Trucking
I needed a low cost moving company to move from Lowell MA to Nashua NH. I saw their trucks around and looked them up on Angies List. Decided to use them given their great reviews. I was not disappointed!
The owner took my information over the phone and gave me an estimate. It was just a one bedroom move. The price he quoted was $520. They showed up on time with three men and a truck. We started at 7am and were done by 11:30. At the end, the final price was $40 less than his quote. There was no damage and the whole move could not have been smoother. I would use him again in a heartbeat!

    Stairhopper Movers
The three-man crew of Mike, Andrew and Christian were in a word - Excellent. They worked extremely hard and were extremely careful when handling our furniture. I had to beg them to take a coffee break.
This was a long day as included in the loading and unloading was a three-hour drive. We were downsizing so we went from a three-bedroom home to a two bedroom apartment. All in all, we may have kept a tad too much for our new place so it was more like moving a two and one half room apartment.
Some of you may be scared off from the price but it was very reasonable. Much of the cost was in travel. We paid for their time traveling to our home, from the home to the new location and then their travel back to their location.  We liked that Stairhopper charges a flat hourly rate and does not hit you with lots of extras. We did have to pay a small amount for materials on items we had failed to wrap, but these prices were no more than we would have paid at a retail store.
Years ago when we moved into what is now our former home, the company came out, looked things over and gave an estimate. When all was said and done, we were almost double the estimate. Not this time.  We estimated the load-in time, unload time and travel time and it came to just what we figured.
I can't recommend this company highly enough.

    College Bound Movers
Working with the movers was a great experience.  The movers were on-time, efficient, thorough and courteous.  They did a great job!
Working with the front office was a nightmare! The scheduling was exceedingly tough to arrange.
And, I *never* got the $150 credit that I paid for with Angie's list!  College Bound Movers just ignored that whole transaction.
