Handyman reviews in Nashua

Don and his team did a fantastic job on my full bathroom remodel, as well as putting in a new closet in one of my bedrooms and taking care of various other handyman projects for my place. I found him very easy to work with and very honest. He honors his commitments, and was clear on his schedule. He never placed other jobs in front of mine once work was underway. He is very capable, asking key questions and then using his experience to come up with a good plan of how to implement my requests. Of course, I needed to do my part in providing any needed supplies that were unique to the project (such as tile, bathroom fixtures, etc.). In some cases, I had very specific plans, in which case he listened to me and followed those plans while offering suggestions for improvement. There were a few cases where I wanted changes as the work proceeded, and he was very responsive in making those changes. He is very proud of his work and stands by it. I've attached a few pictures. The first photo shows the closet he built after he removed an old wall-mounted version. The removal of the old version also involved removing very old wallpaper and patching the drywall where needed. As you can see in the picture, it came out beautiful, and he and his team were the ones that installed the wood floor and painted the room. The second photo shows the new bathroom vanity and medicine cabinet that was part of a full bathroom remodel that he did. This was a substantial update since it required a change in the location of the vanity along with the corresponding plumbing and electrical work. He had to build up and move several of the walls, and he created the custom shelves seen in the photo. He also installed the tile floor, put in a new bathroom door, replaced the lights and fan and switches, put in new sheet rock and baseboard trim, and painted the walls and ceiling. Along the way, there were a few surprises and he was able to help me navigate through each of them to achieve results that I am very happy with. The third photo shows the new bathtub and tile that he installed. The tile looks fantastic, and he was careful to insure that studs were placed where the grab bars are located in order to get a solid install. I found Don so easy to work with that I also hired him to do other work around the place, including putting in new ceiling lights, new dimmer switches for those lights, new interior doors, performing various drywall repairs and painting, and several other handyman projects. I would definitely hire him again.

    Underhill Handyman Services
Chris was prompt and respectful. As a handyman he was open to doing several different types of tasks but we settled on some painting as being the best ROI to try to sell the house. He was helpful in making the decision. Since he wasnt selling his services as a painter but rather a handyman I would have been willing to tolerate a less-than-totally professional job but he a great job with patching and there was no paint drips. There was some slight overspray from the work in the garage since he sprayed the paint but he warned me about this in advance and made sure it would be acceptable, since it would lower the cost of the job. For those who want their workers to show up in pressed pants and a polo, they might be concerned with the somewhat non-professional appearance but dont be fooled. Chris was respectful, knowledgeable, and did good work.

    H&H Carpentry
After a few scheduling hiccups, Steve did a fantastic job removing our mold-covered bathroom ceiling and replacing the ceiling fan. He also installed a new light fixture, tore out an old cabinet and replaced it with a wire shelving system Id purchased in our half bath/laundry. Couldnt be happier with the quality of the work or the price.

Three Masons Professional Handyman & Masonry LLC
The crew was punctual, courteous, and very considerate. The repairs look wonderful, and I could not be happier with the result. They even oiled a sliding door panel that was sticking. The office was also very helpful and easy to deal with. I have already recommended this firm to a friend and will be delighted to use them for future projects.

Extreme Makeover Custom Home Repair Handyman, LLC
Came out to look at the roof and attic and was to provide an estimate. Afterward I received a text saying they couldn't do a roof that steep. I asked for a referral but never received one. Just very disappointed that I never received replies to my text messages.

As before when John did a job for me, better than I anticipated. I am doing a project a year on my house. Next year John will be ask for a quote to rebuild my deck. As good a job as he does, my expectations are getting pretty high!

    Champ Khoxayo Carpentry
Champ did an amzing job! He is a one man show but don't let that fool you! He knows his way around carpentry and I am so pleased with my new deck! I was initially thinking of just repairing the deck and staining it but after Champ pointed out the cost of that work and the cost of installing a new deck it was a no brainer to just replace the deck.

John did a fantastic job. He replaced the subflooring and installed new ceramic tile. Took about 1.5 days ($2700). The tiles were cut perfectly. The downstairs doorway was cut and a prehung door (30" x 78") installed in only a few hours ($1500). We are very happy with his work and will use him again.

P Jutras Construction and Property Maintenance LLC
Paul Jutras is the real deal. He works constantly and is in high demand. If you have patience, you will get on his calendar and it will be worth the wait. Paul is strong, fast and accurate. He is a decent man and a good person. He has a nice personality. He is well groomed. He is down to earth. He has been in the business for many years and is self-reliant. He has progressed over the course of his career by building his skill set and knowledge base. He knows what he is doing and has confidence. He doesnt get flummoxed and can problem solve on the spot. He brings the appropriate tools to the job. He owns a legit work truck. At times he is solo and at others he brings laborers. He doesnt ask inappropriate questions nor make inappropriate remarks about my home or belongings. He does not require food. Or beverage. Or a bathroom! I think of him as no impact man he does what he says he will and does not leave a mess behind. He does not smoke on the job (or at all, as far as I know). He does his best to keep costs low and he provides options prior to the start of the job. Paul arrives when he says he will. Although he has a lot going on, he stays in touch and will be sure to come by for a few hours to make sure things are progressing. He doesnt just disappear and then reappear. Our preferred communication has been phone calls and texts. We wanted to have 2 windows installed in our home where there werent any currently. We had no idea where to even begin with this type of project. Pauls pricing is reasonable. We paid the materials costs and Paul charged us his fee per project. He installed the 2 windows (they look great) and he also hung barn doors with hardware for a room in our house, which was not an easy task. My neighbor witnessed the work progression and the final product. He approached Paul to do work on his house in the future. Also, we live in Nashua and I chose to have the windows inspected by the Building Inspector. Its not required, but I wanted to have it done and have the signed permit. When the inspector came, I was home alone and he looked at the windows and commented on how good they looked. He asked me who the contractor was and I told him its Paul Jutras and he said, Oh, he does great work. This may seem to be an odd review, but lets be honest...these are the things youd want to know.
