Extreme Makeover Custom Home Repair Handyman, LLC
John did a fantastic job. He replaced the subflooring and installed new ceramic tile. Took about 1.5 days ($2700). The tiles were cut perfectly. The downstairs doorway was cut and a prehung door (30" x 78") installed in only a few hours ($1500). We are very happy with his work and will use him again.

    Decks-N-More
Eric and his employees did a very wonderful job in remodeling our basement. His employees were very polite and they cleaned up every day before they left. The quality of the work was remarkable. I will definitely hire them again for any future projects. Our family loves the new entertainment area.

    Charlie's Drywall & Painting
Charlie is a drywall GOD! He's been in the business for a long time, and it really shows. This is the third time I've hired Charlie, because he is simply the best. His work is flawless, and he knows everything there is to know about drywall. He matched a complicated "swirl" pattern in my living room, when I needed repairs after an ice dam caused a water leak. I've used other contractors, before finding Charlie, and the difference is obvious. You won't go wrong hiring Charlie!

    Fontaine Construction LLC
Ryan and his team were amazing in every way. Not only did they do fantastic work but they exercised a lot of patience and attention to detail with our project. This entailed Ryan walking the space about 4 times before we even signed a contract, just to be sure he understood what we wanted. Communication of progress and issues were timely and in our case made to myself on the West Coast and my brother occupying the space so double the efforts. They also are very up front about any potential or surprise issues and the best way to resolve them NOT the most expensive way the most proper. We now have him doing some work at my parents house and I am planning to use him for a garage/mudroom/laundry room addition in the fall. Note that the cost may look high but take into account the cost of putting in a proper support beam to replace a supporting wall, having 2 pocket doors installed, complete electrical rewiring and foam insulation (was all old and original) as well as an ADA shower unit costing about $2k itself from the manufacturer.

    Steve Sarette & Son Excavation
We are very pleased with Steve's work, which expanded our backyard through excavating a small hill, re-grading, and putting down loam. We now have a level backyard and the rain water flows around our house instead of into our house. Steve and his team are professional and hard working. They showed up on time and worked until the sun set. It was a pleasure to work with Steve. He is flexible, experienced, and highly skilled. I will definitely use him again.

    Northeast Basement Systems
We have always had a lot of moisture in our finished basement in the summertime, although we do not have any active leaks or water infiltration issues. I researched several commercial dehumidifier systems, and Northeast Basement Systems (the "Sanidry" dehumidifier) seemed to have the best product and reviews. The salesman and installer were both very nice and respectful of our home. We did encounter a few installation issues, but these were addressed promptly and Northeast Basement Systems proved themselves to be superior in the industry for taking care of their customers! The equipment works well and is very quiet. We have noticed a significant improvement in the humidity levels, and our finished basement is now just as comfortable an environment in the summer as in the wintertime!

    Caron & Raymond Innovations

Over the past 3 years I've used Caron & Raymond Innovations for multiple projects ranging from a complete remodel of the outside of my house (siding, roof, windows and doors) to a new kitchen, bathroom and hallway.  When I'm ready to tackle the living room I'll definitely be giving them a call.

I've been dealing with Steve Raymond and have been very impressed with the results.  He delivers the projects on time and on budget and exceeds all my expectations.  This may sound like a simple thing but Steve shows up when he says he will be there.  I've used other contractors and sometimes getting them to do the work after you award them the job is a struggle I grew tired of.  Steve is very reliable, honest, and fair.  What I like best about Steve is he works on my house like it is his own.  He doesn't cut corners or apply Band-Aid fixes.  Everything is square, plum and clean.  I would and do highly recommend Caron & Raymond Innovations.  They do outstanding work!

    Handyman911
Don was always helpful, and I felt from the start that I was speaking with someone who meant to do me well-and he did. From start to finish it was a really great experience. The work involved a basement restoration following a broken water heater pipe/flooding of the basement: rebuilding walls, adding the wanes coating look, painting, electrical, recasing damaged doors, replacing insulation and installing new flooring. His quote was great and did not change (except when I wanted to add something to it). He was always quick to respond to any questions, calls or text messages throughout the project. Part of running a successful company is hiring the right people. Don had an excellent crew, and they were a pleasure to have in my home. They always arrived on time, and the job was completed in a very timely manner, with absolutely beautiful results (see pics). Many homeowners can attest that having construction going on in a home is usually disruptive, but I never felt this way with Don and his crew. Aside from the sounds of tools, I hardly knew they were downstairs; they were always working steadily, staying focused on their work. I work from home and had no issues-it was business as usual. One day, as they were leaving after a long days work, I unexpectedly (to them) showed up with the flooring/subflooring for the job (my choice to provide the flooring). Without a moments hesitation or even a grimace, he offered to unload it all and take it down to the basement, wanting to get it out of my van so it wouldn't be in my way-even though they were literally about to leave, and would be back early the next morning. He's super professional, and yet kindly personable at the same time. Don also shared ways we could lower our costs without diminishing the quality and beauty of the work (ask him about the wanes coating!) Don is an upstanding, excellent contractor I'd recommend to anyone-and already have several times. We're already looking forward to hiring him for our next project.

    COLONIAL CONSTRUCTION
The actual work done was excellent. The pool was demolished and filled in, the shed and a superfluous brick wall was put in the hole and fill was brought in and used to cover it all over. I have no qualms with their work. The reason for the bad marks and not hiring them again is that there was supposed to be a follow up project to loam and seed the area. They did call me about it, but I was leaving on vacation, and told them I would call them when I returned to schedule the work. After I returned (about 10 days later) I called and left a message but got no response. I called several more times over a period of three weeks asking for a call back but never got the courtesy of a reply. This sort behaviour is extremely unprofessional and rude, but sadly, all too common with many contractors. Seriously, is there someone out there teaching contractors that ignoring a customer is a good idea? For this reason this company is now on my dark brown list of companies never to hire again.

    Winn's Demolition
The team from Winn's arrived on time and worked quickly to remove our deck.  They were careful to not damage the main house and to leave gas and electric lines undisturbed.  The team was professional and friendly.  I would recommend Winn without reservation.
