    'The truck had no lights working on the dash and the battery was so low it wouldn't start without a jump. The dash lights were so low that I couldn't read the mileage. The truck looks in good shape, the body and underneath, not much rust, and drove okay. The inside looks well used like any work truck with 150k. The listing said 150k and I had no reason to doubt it. The sales receipt says
    says 999999. which is hard to read because it is printed over a line. I asked the salesman about the truck and he said the guy loved it and was sorry to not own it anymore and that he had traded it with them for an SUV for his new larger family. At that time when I was asking about the truck, he should have mentioned the fact that they did not know the mileage because it wasn't lit up.
     This was Saturday 3/12/16. On 3/14/16 I brought it home and I was almost there, about 45 miles, when the lights started working because the battery was getting charged, that the mileage lit up...326,110. I called when I got home and asked why they would advertise a truck with 150K that had 326k in reality. The salesman said that the guy who traded it in said that's what it had...my question is...why would they not disclose the fact that they didn't really know the mileage? They clearly advertised 150k but wrote 999999 on the paperwork. All I can say is that they won't refund any of the money because it was an "as is" sale and it is now my problem according to the salesman, I should have asked how many miles, and I'm afraid we don't refund money, that's not how we do business. Sleazy lying deceitful car salesmen.

    IT WAS PERFECT. HAVE USED SAL'S FOR 10 YEARS. NEVER A PROBLEM. HAVE HAD CATALYTIC CONVERTER REPLACED, ELECTRIC DOOR MOTORS, BRAKE JOBS, NEW WINDSHIELD WASHERS AND OTHER ORDINARY WORK, TIRES, BATTERIES ETC. NEVER A COMPLAINT. A LITTLE PRICEY BUT THE WORK IS ALWAYS DONE RIGHT SO NO WASTD TIME OR FRUSTRATION WITH HAVE TO GO BACK AGAIN.

    Took me without an appointment, finished in 15 minutes. I have had many repair jobs done by this provider, from brake work, to radiator replacement. All jobs done with care and with expected results.

    We shopped a 4 different dealers. I checked with my credit union and they gave me a price to shoot for. Grappone met the price and were very pleasant to deal with. No high pressure sales or gimmicks. They did push h****** an extended warren tee, maintenance agreement and special coatings but quite when I told them no deal.
    Two of the other dealers were will to meet our price. Grappone offered 40K miles of additional warrenty, free inspection and tire rotation for the life of the car, free routine maintenance for 25K miles and 0% financing from Toyota. I was skeptical but it truly is 0%.
    One other dealer offered the this but not the other services.

    I called Sturbridge because I was on the road and needed to rent a car and drop off my truck which needed a muffler, and called Steve beforehand to see if Sturbridge rented cars and did this type of repair. He told me that they did, I learned afterwards that these are seperate companies. (See my review on SpeeDee). Sturbridge looks on the outside like a Budget Rent A Car so I thought I was renting a Budget car, but instead he only rents trucks and vans, and put me into a old Taurus with a broken cigarette lighter plug so that I could not plug in my GPS, with over 100,000 miles on it. As he was filling out the paperwork, he put down 150 free miles, and based on where I was going, I told him that was not going to work for me. So he increased it to 200 free miles, and said that if it was going to be more, he could be flexible since it was his own car. I returned the car later that night with more gas in it than I left with (1/4 tank) and clean. The next day he sent over an invoice charging me $55 for additional mileage. I called him to remind him what he had said, and let him know that every other car rental agency has no mileage charge, and their price for a better car would be half what he charged me. He said he'd check it over with his partner and then he had his counter person call to tell me that his partner said they could not do anything, coward! Avoid this guy if possible, he's hiding behind the Budget Rental sign and fleecing people that rent from him by using his own car and charging them as much as he can get away with...

    I was on my way to an appointment in CT from New Hampshire, and I pulled in to SpeeDee after finding them on my GPS. At about 8am I had noticed that my muffler was becoming very loud, and guessed that I probably had a hole in the muffler or tailpipe. I pulled into SpeeDee and left my truck and went on my way in a rented car. Nick called me and told me what the issue was and told me that the fix would be about $65. Instead of replacing a bunch of things that didn't need it, or somehow charging me outrageously because I was in a bind, from out of state, and not able to check what he was quoting, he as TOTALLY HONEST and fixed the problem perfectly at a very fair price. I also asked him to change the oil, and he checked and filled all the fluids that needed it. If you are looking for a HONEST and FAIR mechanic, I'd recommend him without reservation.

    Initially brought our Volvo V70 XC, 2000 to Royalty because of the ABS and arrow up light on. We had already researched this and had an ABS module sent from a 3rd party, which Royalty installed successfully. We also requested that the 3rd seat safetly latch be repaired ($30), but Royalty forgot to install this and did not mention this to us until we had already left and paid to have it fixed. Royalty charged us to fix the tailgate latch, a common problem with Volvos, but only adjusted one piece ($30) and tailgate still did not work properly, even after pointing it out on subsequent visits. Squeak in steering wheel was initially gone ($30) but came back 2 weeks later. Check engine light was still on when we started car to go home, and Royalty cleared the code but the check engine light came on again within 10 miles. (Total $900) The next time we came in the Volvo had an engine light on and needed to be stickered. Royalty took the car in, diagnosed the code, and replaced the VST valve, saying that if the oil is not changed frequently that this valve can make the engine light go on. Royalty charged $45 for a NH inspection, but did not give us an Official Vehicle Inspection Report. After paying $300 for parts and labor, the engine light came on again after approximately 15 miles. We immediately went back, and Royalty used a smoke test to find the air leak in the system which they said was making the engine light come on. After waiting 4 hours, we were charged $70 in labor and another $70 for their use of the smoke machine, first time I've ever been charged for a mechanic's tools. This time a vacuum hose was replaced. Again, approx 15 miles after leaving Royalty the check engine light came on and we returned. The third time we went back for the check engine light, Royalty replaced the air mass meter, $35 labor and $150 in parts. This time it took approximately 30 miles for the engine light to go back on. After trying unsuccessfully for over a week to reach Mark, finally got a call back. Only suggestion was to bring the car back again and let them try some more things, but either these people don't know what they're doing or they do, and are trying to take as much from their customers as possible until they either give up or run out of money.
