    I evaluated quotes from three PV companies before I placed an order for a 24-panel system. Here are three reasons why I went with Energy Monster: The publicly traded company that I favored first wanted me to sign away my consumer rights, (1) with no such provisions in Energy Monster's contract, (2) a good price and (3) Dan G., the very knowledgeable and dedicated sales manager / project manager / system engineer as the main contact, I felt safe placing my order with Energy Monster. During installation a few obstacles had to be overcome, all of which were related to the town's permitting process and required licenses. All that got resolved without incident eventually. The installation crew ��� Chris B. (Master Electrician) and Brandon T. ��� did an outstanding job installing the solar system. It passed all inspections with flying colors. There were no start-up problems. In summary: Energy Monster's pricing was good and they selected first tier 1 solar panels and inverters. Work dedication, workmanship, project management and technical expertise were outstanding. I like that no electric cables are visible. Energy Monster used a roof penetrating feedthrough, which is located underneath the panels. It was tested thoroughly during the torrential rainstorms in the months following the installation. Not a single drop of water was leaking through. Since August 1, 2018 my PV system produces energy. During the 5 months till the end of the year, I harvested 2,936 kWh. I live in Milford, NH. I have 24 LG 320Watt NeON2 panels with Enphase micro inverters. I am very happy with the solar system.

    Jerry arrived exactly on time and provided useful recommendations to accomplish the work needed. This job was a little challenging since new wiring was run to first and second floors of a house. Jerry finished in a timely manner and kept the work areas clean. Jerry is easy to work with and a great example of a what I consider a professional. I would hire Jerry again.

    He was fantastic but I believe he's retired or gone out of business. Nobody seems to know what happened. I believe he's still on Angie's List so it would be nice to know if he really is still in business.That's who I would have preferred. Their phone number no longer is answered and I've been told...people think they went out of business or retired. He's always done work for me but I can't get a hold of him anymore. I did talk to another electrician and he commented that he believes that he's retired. I've called the phone number that I have on my phone twice and never received a call back. He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. I would recommend them because of good experience.

    It should be noted that TNT is a call center and the people you initially talk to know nothing about the work that is being requested. In my case we made an appointment to meet with a contractor and discuss the work requested. When we scheduled that appointment I was very clear that I was on the west coast, 3 hours earlier and they should take that into consideration when calling and that the contractor would have to call me in advance for instructions on getting into the vacant house. The day before the appointment I got a call at 4:45pm ET confirming the appointment and stating they had not found a contractor that could do the work but they would have one by the morning. Oh course I wondered how they were going to find someone to do the work before the 10am ET appointment the next day. Sure enough I got a call the next day at 5:15am PT to postpone the appointment until they could find a contractor. That was the last I ever heard from TNT. Ultimately I found someone recommended by an electrician I had worked with in the past and he was awesome.

    The job was executed perfectly to our satisfaction.  From the first time Evan Jones came to our house for the initial investigation until the electricians put their tools in the truck the last time we knew we were in competent and professional hands.  Evan's estimate of time and materials was excellent (the work was actullay done under the estimated budget).
    The two electricians that did the actual work were very professional and worked diligently and steadily for the days they were in our house.  The work is neat and thorough.  The work they accomplished in the time that it took is a good indication of their knowledge and skills.  They answered all questions when asked and explained what they were doing if needed. We felt very comfortable with them in our house if we there or not. 
    Evan stayed in close communication with his electricians and with us so everybody was "on the same page".
    Evan presented the bill in person and went through what had transpired.  He also had our town building inspector review the work to ensure satisfaction on that end.  The inspector was very satisfied with the work.
    I can't say enough about Evan Jones and his electricians.  We expect to use them solely for future electrical needs and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality electrical work regardless of the size of the job.

    We are only a few weeks into the project under Rick's leadership but everyday I wake up and can't believe how wonderfully this is now going.  

    The crew arrives on time.
    They are very respectful of our site and us.
    They are fast!
    They always leave the site picked up at the end of the day.
    Rick is very clear and always asks questions if there is a decision to be made about a detail.
    Rick is amazingly knowledgeable about energy efficiency, the newest construction methods and the best way to maximize your money. 
    Rick is also the job boss, not just the manager and is on the roof or in the rafters along with his crew.  His crew clearly respects him and they are having fun as a team.

    I wish we had known about Sunset Builders last year when we were looking for a contractor.

    We had been looking to get a portable generator hookup for the past few years and get a bedroom rewired and decided to finally bite the bullet and get it done.  After doing some research and speaking to a few electricians we decided to go with B.V.C Electric.  We appreciated Brian's (owner) quick response and excellent communication throughout the entire process.  He arrived onsite exactly when he said he would and performed all the work stated above and we couldn't be more pleased.  I feel like I should also mention he has no problems with animals, in our case cats.  He even wrangled in our wandering orange cat from the front steps.  I will definitely use B.V.C Electric for future projects.

    I received three bids, each of which were in the same ballpark +/- $150.  I chose Duane's Electric because I felt most comfortable with Duane and was confident they would do a great job.  For the most part they did.  All of the work they could do was completed, although it did take approximately 4 hours longer than they estimated and they did have to come back for a third unscheduled day.

    Mr. Falardeau visited my how a week before he competed the work to assess the scope of the project.  After some discussion we agreed to a time and materials contract since I wanted him to provide a new doorbell and new undercabinet lighting to replace fixtures which were no longer in working order.  He stated the hourly rate was $100 an hour for a master electrician and he estimated the work would take no more than 1.5 hours.  He also estimated that the door bell would cost about $90.  He was not sure what the undercabinet lighting would cost at that time and provided no estimate for that.
    Mr. Falardeau arrived on time a week later with another electrician.  He had all the material he needed to complete the job.  They removed and replaced the doorbell and undercabinet lighting within the 1.5 hours he had quoted.  I am extremely pleased with the undercabinet lighting he provided - it is much brighter than the lights that they replaced - and appear to be much higher quality than my previous fixtures.  The doorbell he replaced is functioning - which is music to my ears - no longer will I have people at my pushing a door bell that does not work.
    The total cost of the job was $460 which I found reasonable.  I would hire Mr. Falardeau again for any electrical needs I have in the future.  He is professional, efficient, and courteous.

    After reading the uniformly good reviews for MH Falardeau on Angie's List, I called Mark's office on Aug 7, about mid-morning.  (Note that this was after I called and left a message with a big-name electrician who lives ON MY STREET, a call which my 'neighbor' has yet to return five days later.)  Mark returned my call in about 4 hours, and we made an appointment for service in a 10 am - Noon window on Aug 9.  Mark and his apprentice showed up promptly at 10 and got to work.  They fixed the grounding problem, inspected everything, and ended up replacing two fried GFCI outlets that I missed in my initial inspection after Saturday's storm.  They also went ahead and reconnected all of the coax cable, which they didn't have to do and I certainly didn't expect them to do; taking the extra minute to do that restored cable, phone, and internet service to the house without us having to reschedule another Comcast visit.  I was actually at work through all of this, but my wife was home with our girls and she couldn't say enough good things about the guys.  She was very happy and excited when she called me at work from our newly functional home phone.  All told, it took them about an hour and a half, and the bill came to $225.  On top of that, Mark noticed an old stand-up freezer in our basement that we've been meaning to get rid of, and offered to knock $50 off the bill if we let him take the freezer with him.  As you may have guessed, he got no argument from my wife.
    We've been meaning to pick up a generator and have it hard-wired to the house, and will definitely use Mark for that job and any other electrical work we may need in the future.
