It went well. Dave addressed my concerns and was able to take care of the job in the time he indicated. As he completed the job on two separate days, the follow-up and responsiveness was adequate to all the questions I had. I would definitely hire him for another job.

I had a brick fireplace that went 3/4 of the way up the wall.  I wanted to be able to place my TV over the fireplace, but there wasn't enough wall space.  Dave redid the fireplace with a gorgeous cultured stone so it went all the way to the ceiling and replaced the tile flooring in front of the fireplace.
Dave was all I could have hoped for and more.  He was very professional and reliable.  He gave great advice and suggestions for what would look best (I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted) and he sent me options to choose from.  He was very accommodating on timing and readily available to answer questions.  His work was top notch.  The before and after picture is striking.  Not only was his masonry work all I could have asked for, but he also assisted with mounting the TV onto the stone.  He left the place clean and tidy and was all-around wonderful.
Dave is also a dog person so it was wonderful that my dogs didn't have to be locked up for days while he worked.
I would highly recommend Dave and his team for all of your masonry needs and already am looking around the house for additional fixed or improvements I could use him for in the future.

My front stairs and walkway were in terrible condition. David Robinson promptly responded to my request for a quote to replace the stairs and walkway.  He explained he scope of work that needed to be done and gave me options for the materials that I could choose.  I am very pleased with the final result and the front of my house looks wonderful.  I would definitely use his services again and recommend him to other homeowners.

I had Integrity do some much needed work last fall which included a cleaning, a new liner and a new connector and flu at my furnace.  They also replaced missing bricks/mortar and installed a new chimney cap.  They did an excellent job at a reasonable price; returned all my calls and showed up at the agreed upon time.  And to my amazement; it only took them a few hours to complete all these tasks.

Great communication, very prompt and completed the work as described in his estimate. He and his crew put in a faux fieldstone foundation on my garage foundation. It looks amazing. They do great work!

David and sons arrived on time, were very clean and finished the job in record time.  They first ripped out the old mantel around a gas fireplace and then installed some 12 " and 4" slate tile in it's place.  The tile extends from the floor to the 9' ceiling and looks spectacular.  I worked with Tile Gallery in Nashua (also wonderful people to work with) to pick out and order the tile.  The tile is not included in the above price.  I also purchased a new floating mantel (separately) that David is installing as well.  His son Jeremiah was onsite for most of the installation and he's also terrific.  A very articulate, friendly young man and also very talented.  I highly recommend D R Custom Masonry.  I'm actually going to have them do a shower stall renovation for me in the near future.

The price was $246 for material and $600 for labor. The tough part of it was that the communication in the beginning, although they responded quickly, was difficult; they would tell me that they were sending quotes, but I wouldn't get them. So it was slow communication to get going. But, we ultimately did get going and the work they did was very good. I had bought two coupons, half price; they were saying that their labor was worth $600 a day and it was 50%. So, I paid $300 for two days, a total of $600 for $1200 worth of work. They completed the work in one day and that was it, there was not credit for the additional payment. So they basically took the $600. I could have probably bought one day's labor full price and still have got the same thing done. I didn't make a stink over it only because I was happy to get the work done and it's getting very late in the season and it was $300 to me. They did good work and the guy who was onsite really did a nice job so I didn't feel compelled to pursue the financial issue. That being said, they really stand on the strength of the work because the fellow who did it did a nice job of a fairly difficult job.

I cannot express how pleased I am with the work and this company.  Everyone told me to expect the biggest mess I could imagine in my basement.  Kevin and his coworker left the place cleaner than before they started.
He said it would take two to two and a half days and it did.  I have recommended him to one of my neighbors and he felt the same way when the job was done.
I need some other masonry work done and plan on calling him in the spring.

David was very responsive during the sales process, even taking me to prior jobs to see his work and presenting a very professional looking rendition of the work he would do. During the sales process my gut told me that things weren't entirely right with him so when it was time to write the contract I was sure to include very specific wording indicating the timeline, payment schedule and what was included in the cost. As soon as he had my deposit check, things started going downhill. First, they didn't show up when they said they would. Each day I would call and get a different excuse. As the weeks passed I finally told them I wanted my money back if I didn't see work start that week. They showed up with some machinery and began excavating. Then the machinery sat there a few weeks and disappeared one day - again, I was getting daily excuses from David. Finally, months after the job was supposed to be done, they showed up and did the work - it only took them a few days and looked truly incredible when they finished. The problem was, they left a MESS - extra concrete poured on the lawn, sprinkler heads ripped out of the ground, etc. Also, I realized that I never saw the building permit, which they were supposed to get. I refused to give them their final payments until they cleaned up the mess and I saw the building permit signed off. In the mean time I began getting phone calls from employees and the concrete company saying that they were never paid by Stonemakers. I wrote a personal check directly to the concrete company because I didn't want a lien on my home. They finally finished the odds and ends and got the building permit but it took a long time and I was on the phone with David daily yelling and screaming. The following spring, the facing of the retaining wall started coming off!! I called Stonemakers but never received a response. I had to pay $800 to have another company come out and remove the top layer of concrete from the wall then skim-coat it with new concrete. So needless to say, BEWARE of this company!!!
