    YMCA
It's a new facility that some multimillionaire donated most of the money for. It's just beautiful. It's a huge place in a suburb setting. It's got all kinds of classes that come with your membership, maybe more than you could ever use. It's got an Olympic size swimming pool. It's got a smaller pool, out in the same area that's extra warm for people that need extra warm pools. I guess, for people that are recovering from something or are elderly. It's got saunas, hot tubs and all that stuff. It's got like a cardio room that has treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals, all that kind of stuff for cardiac work out. Right next to that, there's a free weight area with dumbbells and barbells. Then there is another section that has machines to do the same type of workout so it covers all of your body parts. If you go through the whole set of machinery, it covers you from head to toe, all your muscle groups. Then there's all kinds of classes, everything from spinning classes. There's all kinds of exercise classes at all different levels all week long. Everything that you can think of. The instructors are excellent. You could see one of them walking by and say, "Excuse me. I've got a question. Am I doing this right?" and they'll stop and say, "Sure" or "You're doing this wrong" or whatever.

    Planet Fitness
We had a family membership at Planet Fitness for about four years; concluding in just memberships for my husband and I. For $9.99 a month, we had unlimited access to plenty of cardio equipment and weights. Most of the time it was not too crowded at PF and we had no trouble getting on to the equipment that we wanted. On occasion after the holidays it would be busy but most of the time it was great. Facility was clean and easy to use. For $19.99 a month one could purchase tanning which was also easy to access and clean. We cancelled our membership when we moved to NH and we miss having a PF in our area. Wonderful facility and excellent price.

    Victory Family YMCA
We joined the YMCA to workout. The facility is very clean and well maintained. They offer a lot of services, including a pool, racquet ball, classes (such as spinning, yoga, aerobics) as well as many children activities and daycare. We enjoyed the weight room and cardio equipment and worked out there for several years. Overtime the facility became very crowded and it became difficulty to find open equipment. Particularly after the holidays, it was nearly impossible to ever get on a machine until about March or so. We eventually transferred to a much less expensive facility which was further from our home, but, had more space and accessibility. The YMCA is a great facility for families with young children as they have a plethora of activities and programs. But for us older folks it was often trifling to get in a good work out because of the crowding.
