  • Again very good job. This time we needed to prune various dead branches from four tall trees—three pine trees and a black cherry; also we needed to have cut down a small dead elm tree. The job was done using the bucket truck for the pruning of the black cherry and treeclimbing technique for the pruning of the pine trees. They had to maneuver around nearby trees and bushes—which never got hurt, and to maneuver to avoid letting any of the branches they cut fall onto the neighbour's lawn. These guys are very good at what they do and they are very nice people.

  • We contacted Fox Tree Service asking for an estimate for cutting down a very large ash tree that was dying and very close to the house. They came to do the estimate when they said they would. We agreed to have them do the work. They came to do the work when they said they would. They had to manoeuver their equipment through a narrow and steep entry to and from the lawn. All was done with great precision and skill, including a thorough clean up. In sum they've done an excellent job—also are very nice people.

  • Guillemette rescheduled another customer to get me out of a jam. This was the third time I have used him. He has excellent equipment to do the heaviest job: crane, chipper, trucks and above all, an excellent experienced crew of three. Although I am particular as h***, there has never been anything but excellent work. That is why I use him and would not consider anyone else. If you have any kind of tricky job; tree next to power lines or your house, use him.
My first job for Guillemette was a large tree in a dangerous location relative to a house and power line. I used him sight unseen because he was local. The next job was heavy pruning on trees close to the house on a Hanover rental. If anything else comes up, I know who to call.
His price is fair for the service he performs and the equipment he uses. You get what you pay for and then some.

  • They were great. They were fabulous. Jim Henderson, who is the owner did the assessment and he was wonderful. He taught me a lot about the plants in my yard. When they actually came to do the work the team was really prompt and very quick about it, so it was a really good experience.

  • We have had high quality experiences with Chippers overall. They are willing to advise on what you can do yourself to save costs. They are not pushy. If you want to save costs they will tell you how you can do it yourself and where to get the materials. They are a little pricey. We will use them again in the future.

  • As always, it couldn't have gone better. We hired them first to do honeysuckle removal and liked them so much that we ask them to take care of the landscaping that we don't have time to do on our own. They are our primary landscapers, doing Fall and Spring clean-up that consists of dethatching, aerating, fertilizing and liming, leaf raking and first and final mowing. They removed a heavy infestation of honeysuckles from a large wooded area and continue to keep it clear of new growth. The are extremely nice to work with, and are accommodating, careful and thorough. It is always such a pleasure to return home to find the approximately one acre yard looking perfectly groomed. The only problem is that they are often booked up and that, combined with bad weather, can make wait times rather long.

  • The trees look great and the crew did a meticulous cleanup.  I couldn't have asked for a better job!
I have also had Bartletts treat an ailing boxwood hedge and rhododendrens as well as do a preventative spray on all our trees.  The technicians that have been here are amicable, observant and exceedingly knowledgeable.  They are pricey but then, you get what you pay for.

  • Installed a stone patio and walkway around the new addition and graded and seeded the surrounding grass.  Also regraded the area in front of the porch on the other side of the house to improve drainage.  They were very professoinal, courteous and helpful while the work was being done and the resulting work was beautiful and functional.

They also provide us with ongoing snow removal.  They do an excellent job here as well.

  • They did a very throrough and professional job on the trees and the surrounding bushes.  A minor complaint is that the ruts where the equipment came in and out could have been better repaired.  they ended up a little rough.

  • We used them last year and they are coming again this week.  They charge by the hour.  They are amazing but it stinks that they can’t come when there is crummy weather.  Punctuality can be a problem; they were supposed to come last week but it rained so they couldn’t come.  That isn’t particular to them, that is just the nature of their business.
