    Seacoast Vet
Dr. Kat Brandt is a wonderful veterinarian.  Having the vet come to your home is so much relaxing for the pet and the owner.  She is kind, knowledgeable, and dealt with a cat that doesn't like vets.  The cost is not that much  more than an office visit, and she spends more quality time with you and your pet.

    Marilyn Rios
With several pets at home, Marilyn is truly an animal lover and it is that love that has brought her to this job.  She is professional, asks good questions, alerts me if my (old) dog is sick while I'm away, and clearly has a caring heart.  She even took him to the vet for me when I was unable to leave work.  I love the days that she can come take care of my pooch.  She loves him as much as I do. She covers Lee, Durham, Madbury, and surrounding areas (including Dover).

I've used them before when we had 2 dogs. The facility is clean and I like that the dogs have time outside daily.
However when my friend went to pick up my dog, the man at the desk was curt with her, a bit "grumpy". He has been like that before with me. Probably wouldn't stop me from using them. Everyone else is great.

S C's Real Life Canine Academy
Sue was recommended to me by a cousin who was working at a dog boarding facility in Hampton, NH and I am sure happy that she did.
Chewie was an abused dog on death row in Arkansas and I had taken him to a group trining class at Club Canine in Portsmouth run by Sue. Chewie was the only small dog in the room but she made sure to give each dog and owner personalized attention and he graduated the class with flying colors; after a while he looked forward to going to these weekly classes and stopped trying to cower away from the door or pull me away from the building. After graduation my husband and I hired Sue for at home personalized training with Chewie to get him used to being near and interacting with other dogs. Of course Chewie will always be a work in progress and I curse the individuals who hurt him but he has made giant strides for such a little guy, thanks to the help of Sue.
A few years later we found another rescue that we had fallen in love with, she was found in a hoarding/ breeding home in TN and was rescued after Animal Control found out she was pregnant. One of her puppies did not make it and after working with her very loving fosters she started becoming healthy and was ready for adoption. Velma, being so young, came with a whole new set of issues and we called upon Sue again for at home training which she always followed up with emails. Velma has problems with potty training plus she and Chewie were not getting along by any means and Sue helped us immensely. After several months of working with the dogs, taking Sue's advice, they are now best friends and I have a hard time remembering those first few months.
My husband and I ended up buying our first home recently and hired Sue yet again for at home personalized training as the dogs become acclimated to their new space, environment and neighborhood surrounded by families with their own dogs. Sue practiced walking around the neighborhood with us and the dogs by pointing out body language and how to react in the situations that came up. She was also kind enough to bring her new pup, Nacho, into the back yard to observe the dogs
    behaviors with one another.
I highly recommend Sues personal training AND group classes as each have added so much to our lives with our rescue pups. This career choice was definitely a calling! We all love Sue so much, dogs included, we found out she does overnight care and she will be looking after Velma and Chewie when we go on a mini vacation later on this year! This is coming from a person who doesnt trust a soul with her dogs and would usually just take them on vacation with us. Sue is the most trustworthy person I know and I trust her fully with my fur babies.

    Broadview Veterinary Group PLLC
My dog was suffering from an allergic reaction (perhaps from an insect bite), I recently moved to the area and had not had found a veterinarian for my dogs. I found Broadview and called them, they were able to see me quickly. The staff was extremely friendly and professional, the facility is immaculate and comfortable. They quickly checked us in and soon after we were being seen by Dr Senter.
Dr Senter is a young Veterinarian, but she is extremely professional and caring. She did a thorough physical exam and quickly diagnosed the issue. She was very open and informative and you can immediately tell she loves animals and to care for them.

I have been extremely satisfied with the quality of Katie's work with my dog. Upon pick-up, she always reviews the "report card"-type feedback that she creates for my dog, as well as anything she discovers or concerns her with my dog's overall appearance. The products she uses are superior to anything other groomers have used in the past, plus, my dog seems to stay cleaner longer, which I attribute to the products.

I have been turned off by vets as they usually seem to be pushing services and over selling their services. I tend to do most of my animal care myself as a result of this. A friend recommended Dr Lucky and I was reluctant but I knew my boy needed care I couldn't provide. We met the doc and instantly enjoyed his company. He sat right down on the floor with my lab and hugged him, talked calmly to him and made us both feel very comfortable in his care. He offered services to heal his ears and updated his vaccines. We discussed possible treatment for aging hip joints but at no point did I feel pressured or that I was a bad pet owner for not jumping right into additional treatments. The nurses were all super friendly and the cost was reasonable.

Great Vet! I had switched recently from using Central Park Veterinary in Somersworth becasue I wasn't happy with the service I had received there. Broadview was recommended by my kennel folks and I am very pleased with the professional, great care my dogs are now receiving. Plus they're open 7 days a week which is what is really needed by pet owners - as pets, like kids, always seem to need a vet and quot;off hoursand quot;.

I have used this vet for the past year since I moved to NH from PA. Both my dogs had wellness exams and shots etc. there. When one of my dogs tore a pad, I called to see the vet. This dog had had his wellness exam about 2 months prior, and I was told to bring him in. The vet insisted that he have another full exam even though he only had a torn pad. I was annoyed to pay the extra $75 over and above the cost of the pad repair issue, but let it go since I was new. Second dog had his wellness exam etc and shots as well later - and now when I called a couple months later about the two dogs contracting conjunctivitis (eye infection) from a friend's dog whom we recently visited , I was told that I would have to bring in both dogs. When I arrived , I was taken back to the exam room fairly promptly, but then had to wait over 30 minutes for the vet to step in. She proceeded to insist that a full exam again be done on this dog before she could prescribe anything for the conjunctivitis. She insisted that this was and quot;good medicineand quot; even when I complained that the cost was unneccesary and prohibitive - since now , in addition to whatever eye meds etc would be needed for the dogs, I would have $75 x 2 added to the bill for the exams. This essentially means that EVERY time you take a pet in for anything, you will pay for an wellness exam in additon to whatever sick complaint you have. This is rediculously expensive and unnecessary and a reason that many people can't go to a vet even when their pets are very sick. I recommend you find a vet who is more reasonable and practical while still providing good medical care.

    Oyster River Veterinary Hospital
They have been our veterinarians for about 30 years. They are first rate. The doctors are good and caring. They follow up after we have been there to make sure the animal is doing okay and we have not encountered any further problems. Dr. Leslie Agulnik is the doctor we see. She has a real touch with our animals. We had a cat and a lab and she walked us through its last days. She was very good in telling what the options were and in telling us the likelihood of success. She gave us information so we could judge whether it was worth putting resources into it. She is a person I can fully trust with my pets. One thing I have noticed the last time I called; they have a recording that is a sales pitch. I have objected to them about it. I have no idea whether it was modified or not but it just struck me as not being the right thing to do. There is another dental office and they seem to have the sales pitch too.
