Excellent. An absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. Bill was friendly and professional. He gave an excellent price to take down two trees - one huge dead thing and a smaller half-dead one. His crew we're also friendly and professional. They accomplished the work quickly and left our yard looking terrific. As one of them said when he asked us to check the work "what trees?" I wouldn't hire anyone else in the future.

The project went wonderfully. It is exactly what I wanted. Teressa took the time to explain exactly what she had in mind, she understood and was considerate of my budget. The job was done within the time constraints specified and she communicated to me when there were questions or concerns.

Keith came out to give us a quote. He was very personable and professional. We hired his services because he sounded knowledgable and the price was right for us. The whole crew was polite, efficient and did a great job cleaning up as they worked. We were very pleased from start to finish. They performed all the work we were expecting them to do during the three full days they were here.

Shawn was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had called Shawn after being left "high and dry" by another tree service. We had a large amount of dead ash that had been cut down, with a few trees left remaining, and 15+ stumps all in our front yard. Shawn returned my phone call the same day (on a Sunday), and came out that afternoon to give us a quote. What I appreciated most was that he quoted us job by job - NOT an hourly rate. This really helped us in determining what we could spend for our budget. He was willing to spread out the work to make it more affordable for us. His quotes were the lowest (I interviewed 6 companies).

As we did not have a strict timeline of when we needed the work completed, Shawn came back a few times to complete the jobs over the course of three weeks. During each time he and his team were here, they were friendly, professional, and quick to get the work completed. He answered all of my questions, and took the time to talk with me about some other landscaping decisions for our yard. Many of the stumps were up against our old stone walls, and he took extra care in ensuring that no damage was made to the integrity of the walls. We plan to use him in the future for all of our tree-related needs and have already recommended him to some of our friends.

Trees Are Us was the best experience we have had with hiring a company to complete work on our property! Thanks, Shawn!

I was very impressed with Jeff's professionalism from the first meeting through the finished project.  He personally drove me to the nursery to pick out the trees and bushes that were best suited to their specific planting location.  His team was very punctual and very efficient with their work.  The use of a bobcat was required to move the trees in, and since a little damage to the lawn was inevitable, they promptly returned to hydro-seed the lawn's bare spots.  The yard now looks lovely, and I'm very pleased with the results.  I would recommend this company without hesitation.

We were looking for an irrigation specialist for our primary residence. We chose Rainmaker because they were low priced. We used them for a couple of seasons. We always had difficulties with the billing department. Incorrect billing. Difficult to get in contact with them at times. When we redesigned our patio, we asked them to give us a quote for drip irrigation. The representative showed up and quickly walked the property and gave us a "word of mouth" quote. No plan on paper, no paper copy of a quote. Very unprofessional. It came across as though they weren't interested.
We had three other irrigation companies give us a quote for the job. Although Rainmaker was the lowest quote we received, we went with one of the other three providers. The provider (in Manchester) we chose did an excellent job and now we use them for all our irrigation work.

Over all very well.  Randy was thorough, very knowledgeable and professional.  Answered all my questions.  Did a fine job and I'm pleased with results.  Would definitely recommend him.

They did all my lawn treatments last year, including aeration in the fall. Extremely disappointed with the results. I felt every time the tech would arrive to treat my lawn, he would rush through it and move onto the next job. Unfortunately, my grass is suffering from their poor quality and attention to detail. I have about 2.5 acres and had a small area in my backyard with new grass due to my leaching field being replaced. Because I had the small area of new grass, they decided not to treat ANY of my 2.5 acres with the pre emergent weed control (this is what controls the grab grass later in the summer). Had to call them out several times to try and treat the crab grass. Sometimes they would show up, sometimes they wouldn't. They never got a handle on the grab grass. I basically paid $1100 last year and had one of the worst looking lawns in my nieghborhood.

The job went perfectly.  Keith and his team arrived exactly as promised at 7 AM and set up the crane to remove the trees with the least impact on my property as possible.

They hand raked the yard and cleaned up the remaining debris to the point that you cannot tell they were here, except for the fact that so many large trees have been removed.

The owner, Keith, was personally on site for my entire job, and made sure every step was executed flawlessly.  This is an honest, reasonably priced service company that I strongly recommend to any potential customers!  They finished the job quickly, cleanly, and with the least disruption possible to my family.

We answered a Val-Pak ad from this local provider, whose ad said they had "Cordwood Available".  Our normal wood guys weren't able to service us this year, so we called this company, looking for two cords.  Normally, we buy green wood and season it ourselves, but all they had was 'seasoned' wood.  So we arranged for two cords to be delivered.

I wasn't expecting to be around for delivery, so I left a check in the kitchen with my son for the amount: $600 for two cords. As it turned out, the delivery truck arrived a wee early--just as I was heading out to walk the dog--so I took delivery myself.  The driver positioned the truck exactly where I asked him to, then he dumped his load--containing the first cord. I took one look at the wood and asked the driver to hold on while I went inside.  I tore up the first check and wrote a second check for $300 to pay for first cord.  Then I told the driver I wouldn't be accepting the second cord.

Most of the wood had some rot on it; some of the wood was ALL rot.  (I joked with friends that it looked like this company had cleaned up a forest floor, and sold what they found.)  The pieces varied from 10 inches long to over 20 inches long.  Most of the wood had to be re-cut and re-split to fit into our fireplace insert.  This purchase was supposed to be for the 2015-16 winter, but we're having to burn it now.  By itself, it's extremely difficult to burn.  Mixed with properly seasoned firewood (that we already had on hand for this 2014-15 winter), it can be burned somewhat readily.

Sadly, this story ends like the punch line of the old yenta joke: "The food there is awful... Horrible... It's almost inedible... And they give you such small portions, too."  What we got didn't total a full cord.  It's hard to know exactly how short we were (my wife pulled several pieces from the pile to burn inside before I had the lot stacked), but IMHO it was at least 10% short of a full cord.

    Caveat emptor.
