    Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center
I went in to St. Elizabeth for a uterine ablation.  I was nervous about this surgery, but I found the staff very reassuring.  The facility was very nice, and when I had to wait for surgery it was great to have a room to myself to wait in.  The doctor was prompt, and when the surgery was over, the instructions given were clear.  All my questions were answered, and I knew I could call the nurses station later with any questions.  It was a good experience overall.

I was scared and felt terrible.  They whisked me into an examing room, took down my information, and gave me an i.v.  The doctor explained my diagnosis, gave me a prescription and  note for work, and allowed for questions.  The nurse encouraged me to lie there until I felt better.  They were very professional and comforting.  Terrible experience, but they made it tolerable.

Very well, under the circumstances (late stage cancer).  Staff put us at ease, answered all of our questions, provided excellent care.  We were pleased with everyone with whom we dealt, especially the nurses.  And when money became an issue, business office staff found a way to make it work for us.  We couldn't ask for more.

The doctor is very professional and takes a lot of time for you. They listen to your needs and thoughts and work with you for the best plan for your particular needs. They are very receptive to the patient and very confident.

He is very good at explaining things to me and giving me the best advice for my condition. He gives me all the options. The office is clean, the staff is friendly, and the nurses are great.

The attack occurred on a Sunday morning, I was admitted to the Bryan East Hospital about 9:30 AM, was visited by a cardiologist shortly afterwards, went through various tests that day, had an angiogram the next morning, was given the largely encouraging evaluation before noon, was watched until Wednesday morning, then was discharged, seen afterwards every two weeks to a month, and had three months of twice-weekly monitored exercising for cardiac rehabilitation. I had had an attack 25 years earlier in Illinois and found the care I received in 2012 here in Nebraska much superior. Part of the improvement was doubtless due to advances in the general field of cardiology, but another--probably greater--part was due to better personnel. I found the cardiologists Keith Millerand Joseph K***** to be excellent: thorough, compassionate, open to questions and giving of complete answers, and apparently very capable, since I recovered quickly and have been doing well since.

It went very well I felt the service was very good. The nursing staff was professional and courteous, and the physical therapist were very good quality. Most importantly, they do a very good job of listening to their patients.

My daughter was moved immediately in to care via the E.R, then moved to the hospital in patient when they realized she was not able to get the O2 level up. She was treated with genuine care and to concern.
