    Brandy L. Hanes, NP
I found all that and more in Brandy as my personal care medical person. She knew her medications and listened and involved you as a person in your care. I recommend her to everyone.

    Medicap Pharmacy
My preference to them is because they are locally owned and the owner will always do what he can to help you like do home delivery if you can’t pick it up.

    Faith Regional Health Services
I really enjoyed my stay there, as much as someone can enjoy a stay at the hospital! I was very well taken care of from the moment I walked in the doors in labor, until the moment I was escorted to my vehicle so I could return home. Every nurse that I encountered was just very wonderful and helpful. The nurses in the obstetrics department were so helpful with my newborn. I almost didn't want to leave them! They were very attentive to my needs and were wonderful at checking up on me. It was a pleasurable stay!

    Walgreens - South Sioux City
It went good since I got my meds on time. I gladly reccomend this place to all you SS City-ers. You can also look around the store during your wait time.

    BLUE CROSS & BLUE SHIELD
Overall, we've been pleased. From time to time, we have a claim kicked back and it takes a while to resolve this, but overall, we are pleased.

    Phelps Memorial Health Center
They were good. They helped her with her headache that's what we needed to do. I like their location, friendly atmosphere, they always treated us like we are part of their family there and take very good care of us.

    York General Hospital
It was very nice. I showed up on Friday night with a horrible stomach ache and they wouldn't let me go home. I had surgery the next morning. I had the option to go to Lincoln but this is closer to home.

    Phelps Memorial Health Center
I was treated first in ER - Nurses and doctors were very efficiant and did not waste any time treating. I have a history of some heart problems so they were familiar with my history. They did lab work, xrays. The lab and radiology departs were very compitent. They told me exactly what they were going to do and what to expect. The nurse started an IV with no problems. Sometimes I am not an easy stick but she got it on the first try.I was given meds to reduce my chest pain and then transferred to ICU. There the nurse hooked me up to all the momitoring equipment. She gave meds per doctors orders. The chest pain began to subside slowly. I had more lab work to help monitor my heart.Ihave no complaints about any treatments or care while I was there. The doctor came to see me at least three times while I was there. He was always friendyl, informative about my condition. He also let me know that if the chest pain continued to subside I would be released the next day in the afternoon.of course it also depended on my lab results. My nurse was always competent and very good bedside manner. The next AM I was pain free. A nures aid assisted me with my shower. She let me do what I could but stayed there if I had any needs. the showers are large and roomy. you could fit a wheelchair or shower chair in there with no problem. The only problem is the soap dispenser is a little hard to reach when you are sitting on a bench or chair. But overall the bathroom was great. The patient rooms and bathrooms have recently been compltely redone. They're great. All private rooms and they are large and comfortable. They also have accomidations for some family to stay. They have a fullsized foldout couch. The call system is in my opinion top rated. They can hear you when you call. They also have different options to help the nurses know what to bring when they come. They also have some timers to remind them they need to check on a pt. They also have a backup system so that if your nurse is unable to answer your call they will send another nurse or aide as needed. My care was excellent. I was released the next day after my doctor made rounds. I was given instruction by the doctor and the nurse. They go over all your meds and any changes I was accompied out to my car where my spouse was waiting.I can't say enough about the care I recieved while there. The office staff that came to ER when I was admitted was very helpful and got much of my info from my spouse so she did not have to bother me. Also the cleaning dept did a nice job cleaning my room. The hospital is spotless. They have carpeting in the patient care hallways and this makes it much quieter. The last thing I want to mention is the food. It was good. They have a hostess come in and help with your menus. They are friendy and knowledgeable. Thank you for the oppertunity to give my opinion of this great facilty.
