    Some of the worst damage was to an antique bedroom set.  Both the headboard and footboard were badly damaged – and shown to me by the movers.  Murphy Moving refuses to pay for the damages.  The whole bedroom set is ruined, if I replace the bed frame, it will not match the rest of the bedroom furniture. 

    Also a standing clock was destroyed, and hidden from me by the movers.  Very disappointing.

    The movers kept thinking they were done.  I had shown them all that was to be moved several times.  They would leave and I would have to tell them they left much behind.  This happened several times.  They would take a few boxes from upstairs, then from downstairs, then from the basement, never emptying a room at a time.  This left things all over and also mixed the boxes up.  Also, when I would tell them they left things behind, they doubled over in complaint.  Made me feel like I was asking too much of them.  All I was asking was for what they were hired to do – move my things.  I have never encountered movers upset about how much they had to move until now.  The movers didn’t even have to move everything, just half of what was in the house.  I heard many times about how much stuff there was.  They are movers, it doesn’t matter how much there was. 

    They ended up making four trips!!  I had moved from Lincoln to Omaha four years earlier and it took two, smaller trucks.  They had a much bigger truck, much less things to move, a few blocks to move, and it took them longer to move than it did from Lincoln to Omaha. 

    They piled stuff in the garage – and not a nice neat pile at that. Things were shoved in everywhere, causing damage to numerous things.  Also I could not park my vehicle in the garage!!  The boxes were clearly marked which room to take them to, and they dumped them in the garage instead.  I work out of my home, and not one box marked office made it into the house.  I couldn’t get any work done at all.  I needed kitty litter – absolute no way to find it in that mess in the garage. My sister was in town – I couldn’t find clothes to wear – they were buried somewhere in the garage.  They were in boxes clearly marked master bedroom. 

    The former owners of the house left a work bench.  I asked them to move it out and leave on the curb.  They just left it and piled things all around it, making it impossible to get to and remove.  They mistakenly brought a table over that wasn’t supposed to come. They were told several times to take it back since they were going back anyway.  They left it, and piled things on it burying it so that it couldn’t be returned. 

    Before they even touched the jewelry boxes, I asked if they'd be wrapped so the drawers wouldn't come open and jewelry fall out. Well, they just took it as is and jewelry fell out. Who knows what I lost.  They didn’t even wrap furniture with blankets or anything. They took the easy way out and many things were damaged because of it.  I still have not received anything for all the damages and I paid for the insurance.


    They did not save the screws they took out of things such as the hutch for the buffet and the mirror for my dresser.  There were not enough screws to put things back together.  Also, I had to beg them to put the things back together.  They did not put the basement bedroom together and I was tired of asking for things.  And, the bed they did put together, they put so many things around it, I couldn’t get to it to make the bed and sleep in it!!!!!!!  These things can obviously be seen, but they left it anyway.

    They left a heavy bird bath on the front lawn.  I couldn’t move it.  I had a different moving company move it to the back for me – and on a patio so it did not ruin the lawn.  The different moving company was also extremely helpful in asking if there was anything else I needed.  Awesome crew. 

    They had to come back two days later to finish the move.  It was raining that day.  If they finished in one day as planned, they would not have had to deal with rain.  I have no idea why, but they would take things outside and leave them in the rain.  I finally started moving things into the garage so they were at least out of the rain.  Then, of course they got mud all over the new house. 

    At this point, it has been over a month since the move.  I have contacted the owner many times.  Once in a while she says she will take care of something, but then I don’t hear from her.  I am sixty years old and have no business moving boxes around which is what I had to do.  I had to re do the movers work.  I did not feel it necessary to hold the hands of the movers and tell them where to put everything since the boxes were clearly marked.  I was there when they brought furniture in to tell them which room.   I did not think I had to also tell them to put it in the room so that I can still get in the room as needed.

    Items they finally put back together – they didn’t use enough screws and did not screw them in tightly.

    I am extremely disappointed with the follow up service and unfulfilled promises.  No one was answering the phone and the phone box was full.  I also have had to spend way too much of my time dealing with this.

    It took over a month to get copies of the charges, and then it was a picture of them sent by email.  They did not leave me with a copy.

    Met with Matt to get an estimate approximately 2 weeks prior to move. Matt showed up on time and did a walk through of our whole house. Gave us a quote of $1888 and came in under that :). We had 1 very large truck and 5 young men moving us. All of these young men were very polite and worked incredibly hard the entire time. First time I have ever used this company (used 2 Men & a Truck in the past)...and I will definitely use them again. They were fantastic to work with

    Fantastic. We hate having to arrange our own moves, but this was in some ways better. The first crew on the first day loaded that trailer like nobody's business. They arrived on time (little early) and I didn't see them stop once until the entire thing was loaded, and packed solid to the roof and more secure than I can imagine. I even gave them all gatorades and didn't see them stop for those either.  Very well done. The second day's crew wasn't as tightly packed and we had some wasted space, but it included the grill, motorcycle and other odd items. We might have physically been able to load the 2nd day, but their expertise in securing everything looked really good. We were able to totally clean the house the second day and be done!!! Anyway, I hate tipping people and not real fond of the practice, but these guys absolutely deserved it. They were professional, easy to work with, billing was very straightforward ($33 per person per hour (or for a truck). Their one way move price was pretty steep, but I would absolutely recommend to anyone/everyone their services. Wish they were on the other end!

    It was great service.  The phone call to set it up was even pleasant.  Greg took a lot of time to make sure he gave me a good quote.  He was very nice and attentive.  The day of the move, the movers showed up right on time.  The movers names were Skylar and Ellis.  They were very professional and moved way faster than I thought they would being paid hourly.  They even agreed to make an additional stop at my sisters house to pick up a treadmill for us.  Everything went very smoothly and they were both very personable. They even played around with my 3 year old niece who was there.  I received a call during the move from their office asking me how it was going and if I needed anything additional.  I was very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience.  It ended up being 5 hours of work including their drive and the cost was $600.  $100 down initially and $500 due that day.  Next time I need anything moved I will call them.

    The service was good. They showed up exactly on time. They were done very very quickly. They did not break or damage anything. Our son and daughter-in-law left when they left and they got there at the same time. The workers were nice and courteous. One of the movers that helped was one of the owners. They did not pack anything, they just moved us.

    This is one of the best experiences I have had with a local mover. First of all they were willing to do the work on short notice. Secondly, I received and e-mail bid price the same day. I called and sealed the deal right away. The person on the phone was great and was able to get me scheduled right away. The two gentlemen who did the move were friendly and courteous. I would have to say they were extremely efficient and careful to protect the refrigerator. They wanted to be sure everything went well. The price was well below other bids I had received. Given the efficiency of both men, I felt they saved me money on the time. I will certainly use this firm in the future. 'What a great experience. This is another good Papillion business.

    Estimate was for 3 men 4-6 hours, $675-$775. They estimated we should rent one U Haul for $39.99 plus taxes.
    Actual was 10 hours, 2 trips with the Uhaul plus overflow in pick up trucks. $1250.  And the u Haul was also closer to $100.
    By 11 pm I said I didn't care where they put the stuff, I just wanted to go to bed.
    The fellas were very nice, we liked them all, but it was a long, miserable day and they really underestimated what we needed and how much it was going to cost.
    If I had known it was going to go like it did, and cost as much as it did, I would have chosen a full service company that provides the truck.

    They were punctual and very efficient. They covered doors and put runners down on the carpeting so that there would be no damage to the apartment. They had the furniture out of my daughter's apartment in an hour. She lived on the third floor and there was some pretty heavy furniture to be moved and they stayed on task and got it done with complete professionalism. When we returned to Omaha, they unloaded all the furniture within a 45 minute window. We had them contracted for 3 hours and they were able to complete the job in under that time, even with the travel time back to Omaha from Lincoln. We would most definitely use this company again. Everyone was very professional and detailed from the young lady who set up the appointment to the two young gentlemen that did the actual moving. There was no damage and the way they packed the truck was extremely well done. We are a military family and have had to move 8 times over the years. They were two of the best movers we have ever hired. Moving Made Smooth is an excellent company to work with and we highly recommend them.

    After a 20 yr military career where I've done countless DITY (do-it-yourself) moves and used moving help across the country, I'd rate these guys among the best.  Courteous, professional booking service.  Even pointed me to the best rates (coupons on Angie's List).  Up front with what they will and will not do, limits of liability, and even provided a copy of insurance.  Showed up promptly on time.  Team was friendly, polite, and courteous.  Easy to have around whole family without a worry.  Had good equipment to protect door frames, floors, etc.  Worked hard, smart, and diligent.  Exactly what I needed and definitely exceeded expectations.  Without hesitation I would use again and highly recommend!

    This was the best moving experience I've ever had.  Crew members were hard-working, careful, thorough, considerate, and moved fast.  I have many very large, heavy pieces of furniture and the movers knew what they were doing, worked fast and didn't make one mistake.  I can't think of anything that could have been done better.

    Two weeks later my sisters had the same experience.  They were very enthusiastic about the job "Two Men" did for them.  Not one complaint, just praise for cheerful, considerate workers who know how to work hard and fast.
