  Pella Windows & Doors of Omaha & Lincoln

  Windows were exactly as ordered and installers were very proficient. The door unit had different sidelights and transom from the contract. When the replacements were to be installed, a defect in the door frame was detected. A complete new unit was immediately ordered. Pella corrected the order without hesitation. Very pleased with the product and workmanship of installers. Communication throughout was very good. Very pleased with the customer service.

  Jason Wiederin of JW Builders was chosen from a number of bids. This was a big project requiring craftsmanship and coordination of a variety of subcontractors. We were overjoyed and highly satisfied with the completed project. In fact, Jason helped make a complex project a pleasant experience. Among the qualities exhibited by Jason and his company were high customer service orientation, creativity in suggestions, problem solving, his ability to select and coordinate good subcontractors, the quality and craftsmanship of his work, high ethics and trustworthiness, his ability to work within appropriate timeframes, his overall and comprehensive knowledge, his ability to deal with changes or additions requested by customers, his patience, his dependability and ability and awareness to work with budget and plans. Our kitchen area now looks like a showpiece in a magazine. We are appreciative and fortunate to have found someone as good as Jason and JW Builders. We are hoping to use his company for other projects including a Master bathroom, a deck at our son's house and possibly other projects. We highly recommend Jason and JWBuilders.

  Mr. Handyman of Papillion

  Andrew was awesome! I had simple tasks around the house that had just gone undone for months. He has decades of experience as was able to figure out every nuisance in a flash. The receptionist I spoke to the day before was warm, professional, and very accommodating. She penciled  me in for the next morning and gave me a call to let me know the technician was on his way. He wore protective footing as I showed him each issue. He accomplished everything in an hour. I think the price was high, only because he made it all look so simple, I think I could have done it all myself. But if that were the case, I wouldnt have gotten fed up and needed to call a handman, so I didn't mind paying the fee at all!! He also told me about all the other servives they provide, so will definitely be calling them again. Thanks Andrew! And Thank you Angie's List!

  Front Range Exteriors Inc

  I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal, in which Front Range Exteriors offered to paint 2 rooms, with paint and labor included, for $300.  I was able to quickly schedule an appointment with Matt, who came to my house, took a look at the rooms and my requests, and scheduled me for a date on which to complete the work. 
  One room was a small bathroom that, in addition to the painting itself, needed a wallpaper border removed, the ceiling repainted, a bit of minor drywall and texture repair, and I also requested that the trim and doors get a fresh coat of paint as well.  The second room was a laundry/utility room that was a slate blue with some darker stenciling around the perimeter, as well as wall-mounted cabinets and our furnace to work around; I also requested to have some decal stickers removed, the trim and ceiling painted, as well as two doors (one interior and one exterior).  Because some of my requests did not fall under the Big Deal terms, he quoted me for the extra work, which I agreed to.
  I was unsure of exactly what colors I wanted to use in these rooms so Matt helped me to choose based on my needs and preferences, as well as colors in adjoining rooms.  We ended up going with a very similar color in the bathroom, but I chose a significantly lighter green for the laundry room.
  On the day of the job Matt and Chris arrived exactly on time.  They stayed all day and completed all the work as promised.  When I removed some wall hangings in the laundry room I discovered some drywall holes about the size of a nickel, as well as
  numerous plastic anchors throughout the drywall.  They were able to remove and repair these before painting, and now I can't tell those were ever part of the wall.  They were even able to paint a narrow stretch of wall between my furnace and a cabinet without dripping any paint or getting any on either side, which really impressed me. 
  They cleaned up all materials in the rooms before leaving, and left me with the residual paint in the cans that they'd brought with them.  They were very tolerant of my 2 kids (who were home from school on spring break) as well as my large and curious dog, all of whom I tried to keep out of their way but couldn't at all times.
  I hired them for a second job (which we scheduled and completed within days) to touch up paint on trim, baseboards, and doors throughout my house, as well as around the base of a wall on which the paint had chipped.  Chris returned to complete this work, and prepared the walls, as well as went all around the house to see what needed touching up.  This was a job I probably could have done myself, but if I had it would have taken me twice as long and I'd have spilled and dripped paint everywhere (no drips anywhere by them!), so I was happy to have this work completed by this company.
  I found Front Range Exteriors to be a very professional company, and I won't hesitate to hire them again when I need painting done around my house.

  Ricks Front Door Refinishing LLC

  Rick's Front Door Refinishing did an outstanding job. The service was excellent. They showed up on time, they did what they said they would do, and they went above and beyond what we called for. We had to have new parts put in for the door handles and the lock mechanisms in order to fit everything back in. They actually went to Lowes,  purchased the materials, came back, and worked late to get it all in.

  Mr. Handyman of Papillion

  He did the tasks listed above in about 2 1/2 to 3 hours and cleaned up afterwards.  Everything working as I expected. 
  I had other jobs for him to do but he offered recommendations that would prevent a waste of time (and money) and would best be served by a second visit.  I appreciated the honesty and thoroughness of his inspection and evaluation.  Marc was knowledgeable and did the work despite not feeling 100% healthy.
  He also advised on the best products to get to prepare for the next appointment.
  Mr. Handyman did great work for those little jobs you don't have time (or energy) to do.  I avoided a boatload of frustration by having them do the repairs to the home. 
  The cost, to me, seemed reasonable.  According to the invoice, they charge $149 for the 1st hour and it was $92.00 per hour for the 2nd and 3rd hours.  Mr. Handyman does markup (almost double) parts for your jobs so I highly recommend that you go to Lowes or Home Depot to get your stuff.  They'll tell you this upfront.
  Overall, I will hire them again to do my water damage repair work, grouting/sealing of shower stall, and drywall repair.

  Brothers Door and Window

  Found company in list of installers at Menards. Selected them due to the fact they were the only company with an Angie's rating. They picked up the doors at Menards, installed them all and hauled away the old ones. Installer was friendly and courteous. Workmanship was excellent. Would definitely use them again.

  HOME DEPOT INC

  They sell you the product and they pay  people to come install the product for you. It was like having dumb and dumber here. It was unbelievable. The guys they contracted were scary. I am not sure what it takes to be qualified to work for them. They were not terribly qualified to do the job. When I had asked them to foam around the doors they guy went bazurk on me. He told me that he told me he had a terrible experience with foam and that he would not use it. Home Depot had already assured me that I could get foam around my door before that. It was not terribly professional. It was a huge learning experience for me. They finally put it in correct, but we had quite a time with it. It was crazy.

  Bob's Home & Business Repair

  We felt everything went very smoothly. The showrooms provided by Bob were very helpful in selecting tile and other details. Having those selected before the start date helped, but wasn't absolutely necessary. Ed discussed each step with me through the project and I tried to ask lots of questions and wasn't afraid to tell him exactly what I wanted done. There were some aspects of our tiling that made the job a little more tedious, but totally worth it. We were told it would take three weeks and it ended up taking just under four, so I think that's pretty good, especially considering all the fussy tile work.
