  • It was better than any of us could have expected. Jenni did a fabulous job! She was so good at working with the 4 year old - every picture he is in is terrific. Actually, I don't think there is a bad picture at all. She had so many ideas and suggestions and everything went smoothly. Each family has pictures of their own group that they can cherish and that will become a lasting remembrance this time in their lives. The various groupings are so nice to have. The weather that day looked questionable but we were able to be flexible and work with Jennie and the experience turned out perfect. She was timely and was able to accommodate every wish any of the 13 of us had. That is priceless. We never felt rushed even though there is a time schedule. She was very gracious in every way. It was better than the dream.

  • Our daughter's family lives in Ann Arbor MI and wanted a family photo.  They have a 15 month old son.   She had a very specific outdoor location she wanted to use, and Lisa worked with her without question.  The photographs turned out to be spectacular.  Margaret and Dan were very impressed with her professionalism and flexibility.  They would definitely recommend Lisa to anyone wanting any professional photos.

  • I wasn't really happy with the quality of the prints but there are a lot of other things that I have done with them that were positive. I went out to Oregon and took outdoor pictures and it was crystal clear sky but it came out looking severely grainy. The rest of the picture is incredibly good but the sky is grainy. I took one roll to Walgreens and it came out perfect.

  • If you find a lens cheaper than roughly $1400 its probably not good quality. They were very knowledgeable about Canon brand equipment. I was looking at a Sigma to put on the Canon camera and he showed me differences in quality and the Canon lens would get me a better retail price over the Sigma.

  • It went very well. The photographer caught some great pictures of the kids at play, and also did a good job posing us to get good portraits. He did a good job of keeping the kids from getting crazy or playing to the camera too much.

  • We had family in town and wanted to get pictures taken. The photographer met us at a park. I was surprised that he didn't get creative at all with poses. Seemed very unprofessional and wanted to get in and out. Anyone can take pictures of people, but photographers are paid to have an eye for proper placement and a little creativity. Another disappointment came later to find out that every time anyone switched places... we were charged $15 for a new pose! WOW! Then, they would not put the proofs online unless we paid $10, we had to make an appointment, drive to 60th & Grover to see the proofs. The pictures turned out OK, but I passed on buying many of them due to the lack of creativity and I was turned off by the pricing structure. I would have liked to have been able to just buy some of the pictures digitally. There were 2 different price sheets - if you have kids, it's basically half of what you pay if there are adults in the picture. An 8x10 with kids=$20... adults=$40! That's kinda rude. The pictures cost the photographer no more to produce. They said it's because they have to stay competitive with the Kmart's and Sears pictures, etc.. Overall I'm disappointed. I don't want to hurt their business by giving a bad review, but I wanted to take the time to write this so hopefully they can re-evaluate and grow with the times. If you go there, expect to sign a copyright form saying that you won't copy the photo. ... WTH are they going to do with the picture anyway? I ended up going to someone else to get better pictures, poses and purchased all the pictures on a CD so I can print where I chose.

  • Their ideas on unique photos are amazing but can also take a great traditional photo as well. From day one they feel like old friends you've know your whole life and that makes its super easy to be comfortable and natural with them, which really shows through in the photos. If I could have them follow me around everyday and take pictures of me I would because I know that they would come out amazing and show the true me. Something New Productions is completely worth every penny I spent and I would suggest them to anyone getting married!

  • I contacted Paige based on a recommendation from a friend. I left Paige a message to set up a time and she contacted me quickly. We set a time for a Saturday afternoon and she told me she would call the Friday before to discuss the exact time and the photo specifics. When she contacted me the Friday before, she asked about expectations for the photos, the age and gender of the kids, what they were going to wear, and location options. I felt Paige was very well prepared. The Saturday we were to meet she called me about 30 minutes before our scheduled time and told me that she has been to the gardens and there was a wedding party there taking pictures. They were almost done, but she suggested we meet 15 minutes after the scheduled time. I was thankful she called! She had all the pictures posted on her website within a few days and she gave a discount for placing an order by a certain date. Our order was ready less than a week later. Paige was very flexible through the entire process!
