  • From the first we felt comfortable with Greg. He was very professional and listened to what we wanted. The crew was here each day on time and were also very professional and friendly. The work that was done was more than we expected. Really happy with the way it turned out. We will definitely hire them again.

  • Chuck (owner), Patrick (Foreman), and their crew exceeded our expectations. They were the middle of three quotes we got on the job. We have a 1930's tudor with a roughly 200 sqft kitchen. They let us do the demo before coming in to replace all plumbing and electrical, remove a dividing wall, adding a structural support beam, bricking in a window, adding new larger windows, drywalling, new cabinets, wall tile, and refinishing the hardwood floors trapped under layers of laminate. The original quote was for roughly $60,000. Final cost still TBD. A few highlights about our experience: --attention to cleanliness: The crew cleaned the work sites after every day's work, and their care in this regard made our living in the house during the project as easy as it could be. They used all of the professional equipment (floor covers, zipper walls, etc). Other contractors we've hired have not always done this. --responsiveness: Though Chuck is a very busy guy, he always finds a way to get in contact with you, even at odd hours. We had weekly check-in meetings, and every major decision or change was run through us before execution. --professionalism: Every crewman and subcontractor had the same level of professionalism as the HSP core crew--top notch. --One issue with the flooring: After originally ripping up the laminate we were told the floors looked to be in great shape for refinishing, but after execution of the rest of the project we found too many ground-in staples and nails and ended up needing to rush to find matching antique floor boards. The final result is good enough, but does not live up to the high quality of all of the rest of HSP's work.

  • Judging by the price of the new blinds, I saved a bundle opting to repair the three existing blinds. I had no idea how expensive blinds are. While I was surprised at the cost, I'm reasonably confident that the owner gave me the best price. I would use Omaha Blinds and Shutters again.

  • The HSP team did a fantastic job remodeling our bland home office. From start to finish the owner, Chuck, was very communicative with what was going on. The leader worker, Patrick, was wonderful. He worked hard and considerate of my family. The final result included painted built in cabinets, book shelves, built in fireplace with stone front, wood floor installation, along with crown molding and fresh paint all around. They also repurposed our french doors into sliding barn doors which gives us more space in the room. We are very pleased and look forward to using HSP for our next home project!

  • From the beginning, Chuck was very aware of what I needed done and kept the communication open. His employees were top notch, respectful of my house, gave us daily updates of what they were working on, and we trusted them to be in our house when no one was home. They did a great job, very happy with the end result. Chuck and his crew did everything from demo, dry wall, painting, tile, countertops, fixtures, lighting, other electrical, installing faucets.

  • This job went extremely poorly in many different areas. Although we wanted the job to begin on a Monday, the owner emailed me and told me the job had to be moved so as to start on Thursday of the same week, Imagine our suprise when the subcontractor called on Monday and wanted to start the following day - Tuesday! Since we had made other plans, we kept the original start day, The job was bid so that we would provide all materials except for the tub. On the day the subcontractor called asking if he could start the job early, I explained we had most of the materials on hand. The fact that we were providing all materials became an issue during the initial phone call and he stated he did not understand why the job was bid this way and why we would want to be responsible for providing the supplies. When the subcontractor arrived on Thursday to begin the job, this was still an issue with him. So much so that he proceeded to argue with my wife over why we were doing this and that by doing this we would hold up the job (remember we already had 90% of the materials on hand and in the garage so he didn’t even have to pick them up)! He also stated that when he purchased supplies, the increase in price that is passed onto the client is standard in the industry and allows him to pay for his insurance and tools consumed on the job. At this point I had to step in and tell the subcontractor that the discussion would stop immediately or he would be taken off the job. I immediately called the owner and told him that his subcontractor had proceeded to get into an argument with my wife about how the job was bid and his displeasure that we would be providing all materials. I received an email back from the Bob’s ops guy asking for us to allow their subcontractor to buy his own supplies. I of course said no as the job had already been bid with us buying the supplies and the fact that the subcontractor had already stated he did not want to use the flooring adhesive required by the manufacturer to maintain the product’s warranty, did not want to use the grout required by the manufacturer, etc and that he would charge us more than the products cost in order to cover his insurance, expenses, etc. i also explained by us purchasing supplies we would ensure the materials purchased would be what we wanted and would ensure contractor grade materials would not be substituted that could violate the manufacturers requirements. Despite the already mentioned issues, neither Bob or another employee conducted an inspection to validate the quality of the work! In our case, we had purchased custom cabinets for the job. We provided the sub with plans depicting the dimensions and placement measurements and even pictures of the products so it should have been a fool proof installation. I was shocked when I checked on the job and although the mounting hardware was present, a shelf was missing from the cabinet. Imagine my suprise when the subcontractor told me that the shelf was secured to the top of the cabinet and he couldn’t get to it as he had already mounted the sink top. So in addition to having to obtain another shelf (custom so delaying completion of the job by at least 6 weeks), brushstrokes in the trim painting are noticeable, the door trim doesn’t come close to matching the existing door, a shelf was significantly not level and a nearby stained door had had paint slopped onto it. A final qc would have hopefully caught these issues. Overall a very poor job and I would not recommend using this contractor.

  • Considering the extensive project being done and that the project crew had to work through concrete/plaster walls/ceilings, we couldn’t be more pleased with the end result! Nolan’s crew was so courteous and respectful of our home and needs😇it is evident if their work ethic and demeanor while here at the home that All of them take pride in what they do and are excited to share their knowledge 😉

  • They did an awesome job, kept us update on progress and timeline, were very good at cleaning up daily and workers were friendly and professional. Anytime we had a question about anything we would call Dan and he would get right back to us with an answer. Would hire again in a heartbeat!

  • Jana was AH-MAZING! She took much of what we already had and made our home look great! She was also very helpful in choosing window blinds. She is fun to work with, and we definitely would hire her again.

  • Our insurance agency recommended Paul Davis. They were responsive on the weekend and provided prompt emergency service. However, we realized we were overcharged on labor costs by several hours. We reached out to the company and were told 1) at Paul Davis emergency labor charges apply to drive time to/from the job site plus gathering materials, and 2) the extra labor charges were "reasonable". We ended up having another contractor complete the wall closure for a fraction of the cost.
