  • Not sure if WM bought Dale's Trash Service, but one day we got a letter from WM saying they would be handling our account along with everyone's in the neighborhood. Same price, and we have always really like Dale's so we decided to keep it. We have had WM pick up trash for 3 weeks and it has been nothing but a headache. Each week was something, one was the trash can was laying in the middle of the street (no wind), one week I had an extra bag sitting next to the trash bin but they only emptied the bin and left the bag. I looked down the street and they did that with everyone else also. (Dale's always took any and everything on the curb). This final week it was in the street again with no wind with the trash canister about half full of trash still. I called to cancel, and they told me it would be $25 to pick up my trash can if I wanted to cancel service. So they charge almost 2 months worth of trash pickup to cancel service? No thank you, I'm going to Abe's. We miss you Dale's Trash!

  • We live in Diamondhead.  Our subdivision was recently annexed by the city of Omaha.  We are so pleased with the service from Abe's Trash that we will be sticking with Abe's instead of using the city of Omaha garbage service.  We highly recommend Abe's Trash.

  • During the 2.5 years I used them I regularly did not get my quarterly bill. Then I would get a friendly reminder and I would pay it. The first time it happened I called them and they sent another one but let us be honest, most of us don't remember to pay a bill that only comes due every 3 months without a reminder (no auto pay or pay online options with this stone age company). Then I moved to an area in Omaha they do not service. When I called to cancel the lady asked for my new address so they could send a final bill. I OFFERED to pay it on the spot, over the phone and she said no, that they would send the bill. About six weeks later I get a notice from a collection agency. Never got a phone call. Never got a bill. They mess up my great credit and never even notified me. In my entire life I have never been sent to a collection agency. They were habitual about not sending invoices but it never bothered me or affected our service. Then I cancel and they turn me over to collections...after I offered to pay instantly. Their horrible customer service has messed up a big part of my life...my credit. For $100. Our trash was always picked up timely but the administration side of this company rates a 0 out of 10.

  • Paid for trash/recycling service. Paid for 1 yr bc you would save money. 4 months in they stopped my service saying I owed money. After 4 phone calls and 2 weeks waiting and 3 hours on phone they finally resumed my service. I've had to call bc they've missed my house numerous times but have quickly come to pick up. I only stay with them bc of their price and recycling plus grass can be combined all year

  • They delivered the dumpster earlier than we wanted (which takes up 1/2 of our driveway!) USed them three times.  The second time, they sent me a bill for overage charges even though we did not even fill the dumpster 1/4 of the way.  It did rain, so I think it was water in the dumpster and they charged me $35.00 extra for stuff we did not have in the dumpster.  I felt ripped off and they went ahead and charged me without permission and would not discuss anything about it.

  • We have been using Abes for years and have never had any problems with
    them. They have always been great about taking everything we put out. I
    dont recall them every missing a week.

  • Over a month after I rented the dumpster the second time, I got a bill from Budget Dumpster.  They said I went over the weight limit and the landfill charge was $34.  The company went ahead and charged my credit card for that amount without my authorization!
    When I called to complain, the supervisor was rude, would not even listen to my complaint.  He offered to send me the landfill paperwork, but what does that prove?  I don't know the dumpster id number and what happened to it after it left my house?  I do not trust this company, they could obviously overcharge everyone and make quite a tidy sum.  I will not use them again.

  • This provider was good until this year. We moved to a new location in Omaha and they had us take the bins with us. Then, they did not collect the trash at the new location nor our old location. When I called the company, I was told that they could only pick up yard waste and recycling at the new location, not trash. The company rep put me on hold while he checked it out, and then he hung up on me. I called again today since I needed to cancel the service and they want to charge another $25 for them to pick up the bins since we were leaving the company. This is after they had us move the bins to our new location which they could not service!

  • I like that they have the big recycle bins. They give us rewards for the recyclables. I tinkered with the idea of moving away from that because they charge more for that. I don't think it really adds up to the amount that they charge extra for. So I've got it on my to do list to shop around a little bit. We've never had any real problem with them. As far as for the service that they give us, they always show up on time. They deliver emails when they have holiday breaks and stuff like that so we know when they're going to pick up and stuff.

  • Got Junk is extremely professional and punctual in their service. Not only did they pick up the debris but they swept up afterward. I have used them more than once and will not hesitate to use them again. One time I accidentally threw away an important box which they promptly retrieved and delivered back to me.
