It looked great when it was first done. It also was good the next year when we had the yearly resealing and work done to maintain it. It had a 'rich black luster' and looked good. However, last year it was awful after it was resealed--by Lusterstone. Everyone in our neighborhood had this problem and reported it. It had a very dull finish with whitish spots. They either used an inferior product or did not mix it well. When reported--by 4 families that I know of--we were told it was the water in our town causing it. However, it was white and dull in many places where the sprinkler system didn't hit it. Bottom line---no follow through. Lusterstone would not come out or reseal. All 4 families have written letters to the BBB.

Nature's Helper came out, provided an estimate for the above system they were extremely knowledgeable and looked at the most economical, yet flexible, way to provide an initial system that would met our current needs (about 1-1.25 acres around a newly constructed home) and yet still provide a system capable of expanding to cover the entire acreage if we desire. The design included 11 zones (about 100 heads) of series 5000 rotors with a 30+' radius of coverage. The crew came out to perform the trenching in mid-September, they worked a portion of the first day, trying to complete the entire install due to the threat of rain. However, they could not complete the job before we had 1-1.25 inches of rain! The rain caused many challenges for the installation crew as the pipes were contaminated with mud and silt and many of the holes for valves were filled in by the rain. Once the whether cleared and the ground dried out (about 2-3 days) they were back on the job site, correcting all the issues caused by the rainfall. I mentioned the rain issues because Nature's Helper had to correct issues due to weather impact (mud and dirt in lines), these weather impacts extended the installation timeline from 2 days to nearly 4; however, they were professional and diligent about ensuring that the system was installed correctly and operating efficiently. Once they completed the system installation, I ran the system for a couple of days and few heads started leaking around the seals, they came back out, immediately, and replaced these heads with brand new rotors and flushed the lines again (the heads leaked because dirt / silt had damaged the seal). I provide all this background because a company who is diligent and professional when working through challenges caused by a difficult installation (due to no fault of their own) is certainly a company who I will continue to do business with. They have earned a new, life-long customer!
