  • We went with Mower Medic because they pick up and delivery your mower. This company needs a administrative assistant to help with calls and arrange appointments. Here's why - It took a couple of calls to arrange pickup. My spouse was home all day waiting for pick up. He called and left messages and no response. When we did get a hold of them, the excuse was the pick up person went to the wrong house. Does this person not have a cell phone to call and confirm they were at the correct place? We tried again and another no show. The owner assured us that he would pick up Saturday morning, it ended up being in the afternoon. Once they had the mower, they completed the task in 4 days.

  • It took 12 days.  When the mower came back, it was shiny clean, looked like nearly new.  I was surprised to see that the power drive was still installed!  They had also adjusted the choke.  The mower started on the second pull.  The power drive shifted smoothly and worked fine. (It had been failing for several years.)  This was the second time I have used them, and have been very pleased with their work.

  • They sold me a new Toro lawn mower that would not start due to a manufacturing problem, basically they told me all sales are final and I would have to take it up with Toro. They do not stand behind the products they sell and their costumer service sucks,

  • I went to Curt Steiner because he does pick up and delivery and I've used him before. My old Honda lawn mower needed a long list of repairs so Curt said he would call with an estimate before doing the work. The estimate was that the repairs would cost over $300, so I asked Curt if it was worth it. He said "probably not" and advised me to buy a new mower. Curt doesn't sell mowers, so he lost a job but retained me as a customer.

  • I asked to have the blade sharpened, new sparkplug and any other items that are included in as tune up. A staff member called and said the self propelled did not work, which I knew. It had not worked for some time. I decided to have that repaired also.  The price for the tune up and this work was provided at about $190.00. And that was the price charged.
    The lawnmower worked when I took it in. It would always start on one or two pulls. 
    When I picked it up and took it home it would not start.  I never keep fuel in it over the winter and had just purchased new fuel. After 20 or so minutes I got it to start, it ran then quit and would not start again.  I took it back and talked with the owner. Of course, it started after 10 pulls or so and he said, "it starts now"  I said lets let it run for a while, which he would not do.  I took it home, and of course, it did not start.
    I took it back and he took a part off the bottom which had some dirt and it and told me it would not start because I had old fuel in it. I told him the fuel was just purchased and he pretty much called me a lier.
    I took it home again and it would not start. This was again his fuel and not mine. I emptied the fuel tank, purchased new fuel and after  long time puling it started. Then quit. I called this time and talked to the owner's father who works there full time. He told me I was stupid as I was using old fuel, which I then said was his fuel. I also told him it had always started until they worked on it.  I asked for my money back and really got told off.
    I finally got it fixed but not there. I was there 3 times, spent probably 5 hours working on it after they worked on it.
    I was a very unpleasant experience. When I said I was going to do an online review the father threatened me.

  • Extremely helpful and professional, and the price was right. Wasn't ready when it was supposed to be, but they did it while I waited, and I learned a lot about my mower talking to the owner in the interim. They also noticed the oil was low and topped it off at no charge. I would definitely use them again for any sort of mower repair.

  • Took it there and left it...  he called me the NEXT DAY and said it was ready.   Very professional... easy to talk to.
    Would definitely use this place again.   Told me approx. how long it had taken to fix.  Easy to do business with.

  • They picked up my mower when I called because the self-propel function was not engaging. They replaced the cable engage mechanism and returned it but it worked only briefly before it stopped working. I called and they came out to pick it up again to determine what had caused this. They provided a loaner mower in case parts needed to be ordered so that I would have a mower to use until mine was repaired.
    It turned out to be the grease within the transmission. They reset the shift fork, reset grease, and did a thorough test run. They returned it, apologizing for that it took two visits, but only charged me for the pick up and return of the mower and not the repairs. This is great service!
    I have used Mower Medic annually for many years and have always been satisfied with their attention to detail and awesome customer service.

  • Awesome.  Doug is a very down to earth guy that has been in the business for a while.  The part supplier initially sent the wrong parts so Doug found someone esle to ship them the next day.  I told Doug I was in a pinch and needed it sooner than expected.  He dropped what he was doing and had it done in a few minutes.  Very professional, highly recommended.

  • Jeff Riha is the technician, and has done a great job. His mobile shop is well-equipped, allowing him to fully service my tractor in a very short amount of time. Although the price sounds high, when you subtract the cost of the materials which you would buy anyway, and factor in the time savings, the lack of mess, etc., I think it's a great value.
