    A Better Way Construction LLC
    The new gutters were put into place over fascia and soffit areas that required repair. When we arrived home, we were told that a couple of spots of fascia had been replaced. We were uncertain as to why any area that required the replacement were not tended to. Apparently, because this was not included within the estimate, it was decided that they would ignore the need. Problem with handling things in this manner is, the estimate should have included such areas requiring repair. ALONG with the poor decision to place new gutters and roofing onto areas that require replacement/repair. Following up on the job, an attempt to contact Sue May was made regarding a bid for the repair work and painting. No reply was ever received back.

    Casey had a nice presentation in his estimate and showed up the same day I called. He presented things well and was friendly. I did some research on materials and called to ask him for a demo on the materials he can offer. I also wanted to see the quality of the windows he was offering. The day of the demo he had me go out to his truck where he had a mess of samples in the truck bed. I wasn't impressed with the windows he was offering. They seemed really shifty when they moved up and down. Also, I explained that I was looking for steel siding because of its longevity and quality. He sort of made fun of me for wanting that and said vinyl siding is better because if you get damage, they can replace it without taking down the entire wall of siding. Vinyl siding also looks terrible, has seams everywhere, blows off in the wind, is super poor quality and needs to be replaced in 10 years. I asked him if he offered steel and he said he does and then showed me an aluminum sample and said he only has like one customer a year that wants that. He said literally no one wants it. The sample was a 5-inch wide sample and the steel I was aware of you can change the "stamp" to make it 3-inch or another width. When I asked him about that, he said 'no this is the only width it comes in and it doesn't look good, trust me you want vinyl.' I took a picture of the sample and thanked him for the demo. After some research online, the sample he showed me was aluminum and not steel at all. I wouldn't trust Casey.

    Terrible--- gutter leaks at elbow bad enough that it drown out a flower pot that sits under it. w Weather striping was done 3 times by them and still fits so badly that you can see daylight and hear the wind in winter, nails have pulled through. I have contacted them to come back on the warranty. He gave us a 7 year craftsmanship warranty. They have not followed up on my phone call or email.

    I've owned seven homes in 4 different states. None of the homes built anywhere near this century and most closer to the turn on last century than the turn of this century. As a result, I have worked with more contractors than I care to count. Some were good, some were ok, some were awful but one, and only one was OUTSTANDING. We interviewed 5 companies and settled on Home Solutions of Nebraska for our most recent project. Justin helped coordinate every part of our project, even those that technically weren't on his contract. Roofing, painting, siding, gutters, repair work, garage installation and told us how we, the husband and I, could fix a water issue that we were having in our garage. Justin responds to texts fast! I never once wondered if he was "ghosting" us. He found ways to save us money, when he easily could have charged us more for, technically what we asked for, a more expensive solution . We had no problems with his crew. The jobs were done in the approximate time and timing that we initially agreed on (those that were in his control). Also, he's a good guy that we enjoy chatting with generally. Our work was completed this summer and we are extremely happy with it and the cost was not outrageous. I'm writing this now, because we have over a dozen things around the house that we planned to do ourselves but after 4 years and loads still not even started, we decided to just have Home Solutions take care of all of it. Highest recommendation possible.

    i explained the problem I was having with downspout and requested wider ones and estimate for toppers. He broke down price for various options (something I didn't get from other companies). They replaced downspout on one side of my house and ordered gutter toppers which should arrive shortly. They explained what they did and why. Workers were very nice and friendly. Cleaned everything when finished. No bill yet. Will pay when toppers are installed. Very happy with what they've done so far.

    Excellent customer service has almost become a thing of the past. We consumers have grown accustomed to outsourced customer service departments and faceless, electronic help. It always gives me a bit of hope when a company actually goes above and beyond the call of duty and provides excellent customer support; such is my experience with Aspen Exteriors. I addressed an installation issue I had with my gutters to an Aspen Exteriors representative. I explained to him that I was not the original homeowner who had their warranty for the gutters and that I understood that this warranty was not transferrable according to Aspen���s written company policy. However, they boldly state on their website that they are a company that ���is one of the largest and most reputable storm damage restoration companies in the country���, so I thought I would test their statement and see if they would stand behind their warranty on my home even though, legally, they didn���t have to. Unbeknownst to me, the company president read my request and personally answered my email. He sympathized with my situation and offered to repair the installation issue at his company���s expense even though he was not required to do so. Aspen made all the arrangements and had a very reputable, professional local company fix all my gutters the right way, the way that protects my home from damage. I am truly appreciative that there are companies like Aspen who still stand behind their products and services. They are a company that I, as a consumer, trust will stand behind their slogan that ���Aspen is a company devoted to exceeding expectations! ��� I found out that this isn���t just a slogan but an Aspen Exteriors promise.     My expectations initially were that the job would go smoothly and be completed over the summer of 2016. To the contrary, the roof did not start until September 2016. Upon completion of the roof, and the fact that I was unable to reach the general contractor (who is no longer employed by Premier) the insurance company had the roof inspected. The installation did not meet Owens Corning specs. I took the information back to Premier and corrections were made. The reinspection by the company���s owner has yet to be done. This same workmanship problem continued with the install of the windows/door, siding, soffit, facia, and trim work. My gutters were removed in March 8,2016. Premier found a sub to replace only two of the gutters by mid July after my retaining wall washed out. My remaining gutters have yet to be replaced and the exterior painting is not done. The subs that have come to my home have not been timely and at times disrespectful. I have gone several months at a time without work actively being done with excuses from the company regarding a shortage of subcontractors to needing more money. Some tools from my garage went missing and some were broken. After 22 months the work is not complete and the company wants to opt out of the contract. From the beginning the work was misrepresented. The damage from the storm nor the damage Premier caused to my property have yet to be been fixed. I would not recommend doing business with Premier Exteriors.

    My husband spoke with the owner of the company for an estimate and to make arrangements for the work to be done. He was up-front, gave realistic time estimates, and provided shingle examples with no "return examples immediately" expected. When the work was done it was started within the time he estimated, it totaled the dollar estimate we agreed upon, took the time he stated it would and he had an on-site presence here. It appears that the roof was laid well and correctly and that the gutters are a very good color match and the down spouts a fix for some drainage problems. Also, there was a specific drainage problem where two sections of roof came together and created a waterfall of rain during a heavy rainfall- over-running the eaves. His work has corrected that. Also, we've had no leaks. Our landscaping wasn't harmed at all and they cleaned up thoroughly.
