    Sintek Renovation
Shawn did an excellent job diagnosing the problem and explaining everything im terms i could understand. He gave me options on ways to fix it and the price. Very helpful! He replaced the drywall and painted. He also put new trim around my window and installed an exhaust fan as well as replaced insulation. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out! Would definitely recommend!

    Double D Drywall
The work went awesome. Frank was always quick to respond to phone calls and requests. He went out of his way to get us moved up in the schedule and even did weekend work to get this one completed in a timely manner. They took great care in setting up and getting all areas well covered and protected from dust. The work was completed in a quick manner and was extremely high quality. Would recommend to anyone.

The stomping was extremely inconsistent and uneven, and they didn't use a Kilz-type product so previous stains came through. Because we didn't want to have to pay another drywall company to come and redo it, I had to restomp all but the bathroom and bar areas myself, and my husband had to apply Kilz and then paint. It's still not great because we are not professional drywallers, but at least it's not as noticeable. The only existing feature I asked them to save was a wallpaper border in the bar area, and they not only got drywall mud on a third of it but tore a long strip of it off and discarded it when they removed the masking tape. They left drywall splatters on the walls and floors, and I will have to repaint my bathroom. Their estimate was the same as other companies, but they were available much sooner. At least they came when they said they would, and finished the job when they said they would, at the price they had quoted. I would only recommend this company if you absolutely must have the job done sooner than other companies can do it, but with the understanding that you will either have to repair it yourself or live with a shoddy job.

    Buildology Construction
This Contruction company and Blackwater kitchen & bath are being operate by the same guy Kevin Jasa. Do not hire him. He took our 10k deposit and only did one hour of work.( took down our cabitnets). He is now nowhere to be found or contact. Have to get law enforcement involve and our kitchen is completely empty. Found a review on yelp about his company saying he did the same thing to this one lady. So Do not hire him.

    Just Call Steve
Steve was friendly and his work was excellent. But I was floored by the additional cost at the end. I was never informed there were additional costs for "extra trips." I paid for *3* hours of work when I hired him. I expected additional costs for supplies/materials, but not extra time. Would not hire again based on that alone, not the quality of his work. He should have explained the billing info ahead of time.

    Classic Drywall Co.
They showed up on time and did very great work, and finished faster than I expected the job to take. You can't even tell where the patches are because they did such a great job matching and blending the ceiling texture between old and new.

    Steele's Construction & Drywall
I thought the job turned out great. Ben made the area around the clothes washer faucets look finished and that's an impossible job. Ben was punctual and cleaned up each day! I was not left with a mess.

    Just Call Steve
Shortly after moving into our new home we discovered we had a wet basement. We needed to demo the finished part of the basement before we could fix the leaking. Steve was great. He came over and worked with my husband to demo the main room. He worked hard and in a timely manner. When the the leak was fixed, we called Steve back. I live in an older home with lots of quirks. Steve was honest and so helpful in explaining all of our options and the pros and cons of different renovations ideas. Armed with way too many pinterest ideas, I began to explain what I had envisioned for that space. He not only entertained my vision but followed through with my exact design. My basement is absolutely beautiful. He took a space that was dungeon like and turned it into this bright modern farmhouse-esque room that feels very much like the rest of the house. I have received so many compliments on the space. If you are looking to have work done around the house, I could not recommend a better guy. He is very professional, talented, and a nice guy to boot. Now, if I could only stay off pinterest.....

    Service Call

After living with a pink bathtub and pink sink for several years I decided to update my bathroom.  I started by creating a list of updates that I wanted to make which included replacing the pink fixtures, change out the wall/shower surround tiles, installing a heated tile floor, replacing the window and adding an exhaust fan.  I secured a few bids and Service Calls was the least expensive.

After I gave Service Call the go ahead, they took care of coordinating all the work.  I appreciate how Dan worked with me to present options such as replacing or resurfacing the existing tub.  Dan presented the pros and cons for each choice and helped me decide how I wanted to proceed (I ultimately decided to resurface the tub). Dan even suggested a few ways I could save some money (such as doing the painting myself).

I appreciated that the worked took the time to cover my wood floors during demo and took care to protect my property.  I did have quite a bit of construction dust when they were doing drywall work, but I think that is the nature of the beast.

Dan communicated with me on a regular basis to keep in informed of the progress. Dan also promptly answered any questions I had along the way either my phone, text or email.

One thing that surprised me was the Service Call did not require me to put down a deposit for them to get started.  I did not have to pay for the project until it was complete.

After living with the new bathroom for a month, I had a few small items that needed to be addressed (the shower head had a little leak and about an inch of grout was missing on some of the wall surround tiles.  I called Service Call and the followed up promptly to resolve the few issues.

My project took about a month to complete.  Dan worked with me on the timeline.  I know if I didnt have a second bath he would be have able to coordinate the project so I wouldnt be without a bath.

My overall Service Call bill was right at $9,000. I spent about $1000 on tile, $750 on plumbing fixtures/faucets, $150 on electrical fixtures (new wall light and exhaust fan) and $100 on paint. All in my project was just about $11,000.
