    Home Solutions of Nebraska
I've owned seven homes in 4 different states. None of the homes built anywhere near this century and most closer to the turn on last century than the turn of this century. As a result, I have worked with more contractors than I care to count. Some were good, some were ok, some were awful but one, and only one was OUTSTANDING. We interviewed 5 companies and settled on Home Solutions of Nebraska for our most recent project. Justin helped coordinate every part of our project, even those that technically weren't on his contract. Roofing, painting, siding, gutters, repair work, garage installation and told us how we, the husband and I, could fix a water issue that we were having in our garage. Justin responds to texts fast! I never once wondered if he was "ghosting" us. He found ways to save us money, when he easily could have charged us more for, technically what we asked for, a more expensive solution . We had no problems with his crew. The jobs were done in the approximate time and timing that we initially agreed on (those that were in his control). Also, he's a good guy that we enjoy chatting with generally. Our work was completed this summer and we are extremely happy with it and the cost was not outrageous. I'm writing this now, because we have over a dozen things around the house that we planned to do ourselves but after 4 years and loads still not even started, we decided to just have Home Solutions take care of all of it. Highest recommendation possible.

    Wright Sheds
The entire shed, plus the installation and all of the extra stuff that we had with a window put in and we had a loft that we had built in, it was $3,900. They demolished the old shed and removed all of it and hauled it away for us, so we didn't have to take anything to the dump. The, they brought in the new shed and constructed it for us. They leveled everything out. It was pre-painted. They put the shingles on. They did everything. They did the roofing, put in the window, put in the door. They leveled it out, so it was leveled. They did concrete risers to level it. They had to do the landscaping. I thought the price was pretty reasonable. We got a 10x14 shed, it's lovely, it's just gorgeous compared to what we had. They were a little late getting started. They were so quick.

    Just Call Steve
Steve replaced the siding and trim on the shed, rebuilt the door and added tar to the roof to seal holes. He had to take into account the fact that the shed had several irregularities in the original building and he was able to accommodate them. He did the work in two short days. The shed looks 100% better and the door that he had to create works really well now! He is always very professional. He stuck to his quote as well. I highly recommend his work!

I can't say enough positive things about Door Doctor.  From the first time I called to the time they pulled out of my driveway after the job was done, it was excellent service.  I called for an estimate and had someone arrive and give me a very clear picture of my choices of product and the costs.  There was no hard sell or up sell at all.  I was the one who had to ask about and suggest that I get a new opener along with the new door.
Ordering the door was easy, and it took about a week and a half, but that was because I didn't order until the end of the week.  If you order on Monday or Tuesday, your door should be in by the following Monday.  Installation was done by the owner, along with a couple of his employees.  It took just 4 hours for the entire job to be done.  They swept my garage floor at the end and took the time to show me how to operate the new opener and were happy to answer any questions I have.
Don't go elsewhere.  This is the place to get your garage door serviced or replaced.

    Just Call Steve
Although originally scheduled to just do drywall repair, Steve also replaced some existing ceiling fans, replaced my front door knob, and repaired my garage entry door. He did a great job, and was great at explaining my options for each project and how long it would take.  I was under a lot of pressure to get things done before leaving for a trip, and he made my life so much easier!  I can't recommend him highly enough.

    Marvelous Marv

Marv responds in good time to e-mails. He and his helper arrived on time as promised. They approached challenges removing the old patio doors and installing the new ones, in a calm, professional way. They did excellent work in finishing the job and paid attention to small detail to ensure that the job is done well. They also cleaned up everywhere they worked.  Charges for the job was very reasonable and as promised when accepting the job.

    Just Call Steve
He showed up when he said he would.  Rather then do a poor job, Steve explained why he was not qualified to repair the problems I have with plaster walls.  So I show him a very  small main water access panel,  Steve was able to open that up and created a new door for it.  He also patched the 2 story entry area.

    Carpentry & Home Repair
Where to start? Terry was here so much he was like part of the family! Our adventure started in July of 2014, with the dining room remodel. Terry put in a hardwood floor that carefully matched up to the existing hardwood floor in the living room, and ran seamlessly into the kitchen. In the kitchen, in addition to replacing the existing old floor with a new hardwood floor, Terry took out all the old cabinets and countertop and sink and lights and installed our new cabinets (including a modification near the window to give us more cabinet space), ceiling lights, and a vent hood above the stove, which he also vented out of the rooftop. (The quartz countertop was installed by the countertop company and the plumber worked with Terry to install the sink, garbage disposal, and dishwasher). Terry modified the electric wiring, bringing it up to code, and giving us more outlet and switch options (including a motion sensor light switch) He also did the tile backsplash. One really neat feature of having Terry re-do a kitchen is the temporary sink set up he brings in, so you don't have to be without a sink the entire time.
Terry has connections with a veritable army of artisans and if there was something he needed one of them to do, he brought them in, such as the company who sanded and poly-ed the floors, and the drywaller and painters, in addition to the aforementioned countertop company and plumber.
When it was time for the master bathroom remodel, we were delighted to see Terry again! He gutted the entire bathroom, removing old cabinet work and the tub (as well as the sink, vanity, and toilet). Again, we had him put in ceiling lights, including above the shower. One awesome feature of our new bathroom is the heated floor! Terry worked with an electrician to ensure all the circuitry was up to code and the heating elements were properly installed underneath the tile. He tiled the floor and the shower, putting in custom cubbies, and installed the shower base and shower doors. He made modifications to the wall so that our custom recessed cabinet would fit. He vented the exhaust fan out of the rooftop, and, as above, he made sure all the electrical wiring was up to code while giving us more options for outlets and switches. He moved the floor register over, too. The finishing touch on the bathroom was the sliding barn-style door between the master bedroom and the bathroom. Terry figured out a way to hang the sliding door track securely yet discreetly.
There are many great aspects to working with Terry, but one of them is that he believes the client should be the one with the final say. The client designs and Terry implements. If the client wants something that isn't possible Terry gives alternatives, but it's still up to the client to decide. He genuinely, truly wants his clients to be happy.
When the work was done we were sad that we wouldn't be seeing Terry regularly, because we enjoyed working with him so much. He's conscientious, hard-working, inventive, polite, and communicates well. I can't think of a better professional to do a remodel.

Their rep came out to our house and was punctual and professional, until it came time for the final sales push.  The windows he quoted us for were triple pane, and we were not presented with any options to choose from other than their top of the line triple pane windows.  We were heavily pressured into making a decision on the night of the quote because the price would go up by several thousand dollars if we did not.  Because of Nebraska's 3-day cancellation policy, we decided to sign, but we ultimately ended up canceling and going with another window provider.  While I think Bristol windows are a good quality, the pressure sales tactics made us feel uncomfortable and we liked the customization options of other window companies because the value of our home does not warrant the most expensive windows one can buy.  To Bristol's credit, they were respectful enough to me as I cancelled our order and I have not had any negative experiences with them after the fact.
