  • I put a lot of weight on whether they are on time or not. They showed and they did the job they said what they were going to do. They charged me a fair price for it and that is pretty simple. They were good.

  • It went great. They finished in the basement and when they were ready to leave I mentioned the kitchen drain leaked once in awhile. They checked it out and discovered it was where the dishwasher and drain came together. They were very professional and did not rush.

  • They arrived right on time. First tried augering out the drain, then tried a chemical fix in addition to augering. Finally had to give up on that and cut out the pipe and replaced it. The old drain pipe looked like it was full of black tar -- no wonder water couldn't get through. K and G also previously installed a gas line for my new stove, and the service that time was equally prompt, well done, and right on estimate. I'd hire them again in a minute.

  • After installling a dishwasher and replacing the countertop, kitchen sink and drain, I called for an appointment to have the drains cleaned since they were not draining well. Don told me they were tied up until Wednesday the 3rd. I told hime my daughter would call his secretary to set up a firm time for his company to come out. She did, they were punctual, cleaned up after themselves well, and were efficient in their work. I will use them again.

  • Their head guy is named Ozzy, and they have taken good care when I needed them to help me. They didn’t have a lot of time available because they were busy putting roofs on homes for people, and most of my jobs were small, but they were very good about working me in when I am there. Their charges are always very reasonable. There were a couple of times when they said that it wasn’t something they knew about, and they didn’t try to bluff their way through just to get some money. They were honest with me and told me that they didn’t know about those things. Some of the jobs were small. They came out one time to do some work on the water heater, and they installed a cut-off valve at the top so I could turn off the water flow into the water heater. It was an electric one and the top element was not working. He has got one guy that is the most knowledgeable about plumbing things, and he told me that he just couldn’t do that element, but he only charged me $20 to install the valve at the top. I thought that was very reasonable because there were two guys out there for about two hours. There was one instance when they showed up a day early. It was a situational thing because they had been doing roofing and it rained, so they came since what I had asked them to do that day was indoors. I had them put up a ceiling fan and take care of a few other little things that they could do inside. So, four guys came that day, including Ozzy, the boss, and they had most of it done in an hour. Two of them went to go and have their lunch break while he other two stayed and finished up. I don’t remember what I paid them for that but it was very reasonable. They are not perfect but they are real good.

  • It was a pretty good deal on the price.  They came right out and took care of our drain problem.  They cleaned up after themselves.  We thought they just did a really good job for the price.  They were recommended from someone else.

  • This is my sixth great experience with this company, I am consistently impressed by the owner and the employees I've dealt with (including the receptionist when I call). The mechanism in one of the toilet tanks at our shop failed and water ran and ran and ran. When I noticed it, I called Don Rutt and got a hold of him right away. He came right over and looked at it, then sent two of his guys over to fix it and check our drain, since he knows it has a tendency to clog. It was clogged and was about to become another mess so they fixed that too.

You won't find a more honest, easier to get a hold of, or faster responding plumber than Don Rutt and his crew! Thanks!

  • He's a great plumber. There is nothing I can say bad about him. In the middle of the morning, I made a phone call to him early on a Friday morning that we weren't able to use gas anymore, told him we needed an electric hot water heater, he was able to get us an electric hot water, and install it so we could have hot water. I told him what I needed and he took care of everything. I was working and we hadn't met. The hot water heater and labor were $700 and the electric was $200. I have encouraged other people to use him and they have. I will continue to use him in the future if needed.

  • My boiler went out in winter so I called K and G. They came out to take a look and I showed them i needed a new control board. They said they'd order the part and come back. The service tech told me it should be a relatively quick fix and shouldn't be much. When the part came in they sent over a different service tech than the first one. I was not home but left the back door open for him. I showed up right as he was about to leave. So he brought me inside and showed me what he did. He installed the wrong part and didn't even bother to see if it was working!!! I informed him it was the the control board that needed replaced not the ceramic igniter. He left and came back with the right part and installed it in about 15 minutes. a couple weeks later I ge a bill for $470. $405 for the part and $65 for labor. I went online and looked up the part. The most common price I found it for was $130. I called and asked them why I was being charged $400 for a $130 part. The lady got snotty with me on the phone. I later received a letter stating if i would like they would come install the part. I called another local place and found the same part for $150. (reasonable mark up) So I called K and G and told them they could come get their part. The service techs came and were real nice, unlike the lady who i had to deal with on the phone again. I thought it was all over and now i have a bill for $101.14 for restocking and fee's. So even though i'm having someone else install the part it'll still cost me over $300 in the end if I pay them what they ask.

  • Excellent. Never had a complaint other than they were too busy to help me out.
