    Touch Of Health
Inspite of a bad first impression I decided to give Touch of Health a second chance.  I called in advanced and set up an appointment for 01-12-2015.  I specifically took the day off to get a massage on my birthday and spend the day relaxing.
So, I made an appointment for a 2pm massage. I get a call at 11:30AM from the massage therapist to let me know she would not be able to make my appointment. What makes matters worse there were 3 missed calls before I answered but at no time was a message was left.  I provided 2 separate call numbers and no message was left with either.
I took the day off work to relax and I couldn't be notified any sooner than this?  It appears no attempt was made to have me seen by another therapist.  If I was called at first thing in the morning I might have been able to find someone else.
Also, when I spoke to the owner of Touch of Health, I was advised that the therapist that was to perform my massage owns Knead to Relax Therapeutic Massage in Grand Island, NE.  I believe that I was intentionally double booked and the therapist took her primary location and left me stranded.
I'd avoid and cannot in good faith recommend Touch of Health or Knead to Relax Therapeutic Massage.

    Touch Of Health
A massage was scheduled as a birthday present.  I showed up at the prescribed time and told the massage therapist what I wanted and preferred when I receive a massage, which seemed very simple and straight forward.
During the massage the therapist played hymns which I found very strange.  I have been receiving therapeutic massages regularly as a treat for several years and I am accustomed to a gentle white noise such as waves/ocean sounds.  The hymns were very distracting and not relaxing.
Also during the massage I kept instructing and asking her to apply more pressure.  Continually she refused to do as I asked, for which I am ultimately paying her to perform a service.  She kept saying "i'll get there" but she never did.  She continued with soft rubbing and never got into providing any pressure as I asked several times again for more pressure.
Lastly at the "end" of the massage when I she stopped/finished, as I got up I noticed the time that had passed was only 45 minutes. An hour massage had been prepaid and when I questioned the time discrepancy I was told "that is normal".  The 15 minute difference is so I can get dressed and she can get ready for her next client.  I was frankly blown away by this!  Every massage over the last 10 or so years I've treated myself I have NEVER been shorted on time and at a minimum the therapist goes the full 60 minutes, often a few minutes over.
I was very disappointed with the service provided.
