ASmith Painting, LLCMy rough cedar siding had not been stained in over 10 years so it needed a lot of prep and repair before staining. I had a hard time choosing a color and Jeff patiently allowed me to apply several before choosing the one that was perfect. (He had to remove the stains I didn't choose so that was no small gesture!) The house was beautiful when he was finished. I will definitely ask him come back when my house is ready to stain again!- Jan G.

AToday's PaintingThey did a fantastic job! I had really terrible paint from the pervious owners and having dogs they’d done a number on the walls. They patched everything up perfectly. When I get my ceilings done I’ll definitely be going back to them. AWhat sets HSP apart from other construction companies, and in a very good way, is the up-front, friendly, professional attitude of Chuck, the owner. He is very, very easy to work with. An increasingly rare find these days. The vibe is there with his staff also, and their workmanship is pure quality. The only sub HSP uses is an electrician, otherwise all the other work is done in-house. Huge plus. Much more control over the project, fewer mistakes, easy corrections, and there are no bad attitudes to deal with when an issue arises. Chuck is fair, stands by his work, will listen attentively to what the customer wants and then will expeditiously follow through. As always, make sure to look over initial bid carefully, line by line and resolve any questions, pricing or any possible gray areas and then trust that Chuck and his team will see the job through to completion satisfactorily. Highly recommend!

CNot well. He oversold his abilities. It was clear from his questions about what needed to be done and how to do it, he hadn't done many, if any jobs, replacing door casing and window sills. Ended up wasting my material on the two doors he did during the 2 hours he was here, they have to be redone. Used my table saw and asked to use my miter saw the next day because his was real heavy to carry around/bring in his car. Just odd.....we did not have him finish any other work for us. He is a hard worker I just think finish carpentry isn't his strength.
