APS GARAGE DOORSI had backed into the bottom panel of the garage door. It had stopped in the blind spot of all my vehicle mirrors instead of going all the way up. The bottom panel was left with a slight bow to it and still worked but I needed to find out why the door was raising and lowering slowly and occasionally stopping mid raise. When the repairman showed up, the door was working just fine and I couldn't duplicate the problem (go figure). He straightened the panel and put the rollers back into place. I guessed that the colder weather was affecting the operation of the door. He agreed and lubricated the rollers with a brand that they carry in their store. I had used white lithium grease this past spring. He explained that grease gets sticky in freezing weather. He also made a minor adjustment on the tension setting of the main unit. He also educated me on the difference in the operation of the three button house control unit and the car remote unit. He also replaced the regular house bulbs with rough service bulbs. This was the second time I have used PS Doors to make repairs on my garage doors. Each time, the repairmen have been kind, polite and easy to talk to. They explain what they are going to do, why they are going to do it, and make suggestions to keep problems from happening in the future. These guys are excellent and I recommend them highly!- A S.

BOverhead Door Service - Meisner CompanyMy opener had completely quit. There was a snowstorm on the way. I called two other companies in town who were both $200 less but they were already booked two weeks out. Overhead Door Service came over in about an hour and gave me an estimate, his guy showed up about 2 hours later, early evening. The installer was super nice, got the job done correctly, and cleaned up after himself. I thought they were expensive, but my door worked that evening. Two days later we had a foot of snow - I had no problem paying the bill. I hope to not have to use them again as this should work for many years. Would I recommend them? mixed feelings, no on price. But a big huge YES on everything else.- Gwen K.

DBoth were covered by insurance, so can't speak to pricing fairness. Work by laborers was great. But responsiveness of sales team and management is TERRIBLE. Be prepared to wait weeks beyond when they'll tell you they'll start. Also, the electricity was cut in parts of our house. Fine, accidents happen. Laborers didn't understand us (language barrier) to fix it. Again, OK someone else will come. It's been almost two weeks and no one has come. Also still waiting on pickup of excess materials in our driveway. They will be very prompt to respond until they get the job and your deposit. Then be prepared to hassle them to get a reply..and hopefully a real response. There have to be better firms.

AWent very well, I would certainly hire them again. Did A Great Job, Although a little higher priced than some of the other contractors in the area. They really pay attention to detail and use products that last. One thing is worth mentioning and that is a lot of other contractors might be less in price but price in the industry truly defines quality.
