    I was incredibly impressed with the fine folks at Fredma Autos, and it is a joy for me to be able to write the following recommendation because of my dealings with them. I live two hours away and responded to an ad I saw for a car I was interested in. Because of my distance, difficulty securing funds on time and businesses being closed on the weekend, I was not able to handle business as I normally would and needed special accommodations which they graciously provided. The lengths they went to in order to assist me exceeded my expectations, and I have never heard of others who have done the same. On top of everything else, they found I had miscounted the cash I had given them to the tune of $60, and they did not hesitate to give it back to me. When have you ever heard of a used car dealer doing something like this? Their integrity, honesty, and willingness to work with me in difficult circumstances sets them apart from any other dealer I have ever worked with, and has prompted me to write this review. Fredma Autos specialize in cars with salvage titles, enabling them to give customers the nicest cars at the cheapest cost- the overall best value for the money and exactly what I was looking for (who has money to throw away these days?). They were open with me from the beginning about what had been replaced. The car I purchased previously had relatively minor damage but was otherwise solid- it checked out well with the mechanic and with my long drive home. This no frills operation is well worth looking into and comes with my highest recommendation. While I may live some distance away, if I'm ever needing a good used car again, I will surely contact Fredma Autos, and I will make others aware of it as well.     I was incredibly impressed with the fine folks at BHC, and it is a joy for me to be able to write the following recommendation because of my dealings with them. I live two hours away and needed a pre-purchase inspection for a used car, as well as some advice on related matters. On the excellent advise of Tom Schmidt at Victory Lane Quick Oil Change, I contacted BHC. While they were unable to look at the car that day due to existing appointments, I talked to Glenn for some time who freely gave me some very valuable advice. He was incredibly polite, professional, and helpful, not to mention generous with the time he had in order to help me. His advise helped me to take appropriate action that in the end led to my being able to purchase the car with confidence. While I may live some distance away, if ever I need a mechanic in this area again, I will surely contact BHC.     The service went well.  It was a quick service.  It took about fifteen minutes for the oil change.  The workers are nice.  The waiting room has wi-fi and free coffee.  I would tell a friend to go there based on my experience there.  The prices are reasonable.  I have been going there for two years.

    Worked right next to these guys for a couple of years.
    It worked out because they were great at all the services I needed done. They were recommended via CarTalk forums, and I found that high recommendation to be accurate.
    We live farther away now, but otherwise I'd still be going to them for pretty much any auto service they said they could do.
    They were honest and fair with me.

    Arnolds Repair
    Arnold's Repair is a nice repair shop. He is really reasonable. If you bring you car in, he'll fix it and fix it on time. He's got a drop box where you can drop your keys and leave your car there and you can pick up the car when he says it's ready.

    I have a Subaru and looked to Angies List to find a repair facility that specializes in Subarus'.  Finding good reviews, I called Johnson and Johnson Import Specialist and was greeted nicely and was able to book an appointment for 2 days later.  Doug explained on the phone it might take some time to diagnosis the problem (the check engine light was on) and the initial inspection should be no more than $150.  I agreed and brought the car in on a Friday morning and was able to wait.  Doug explained that they did find a problem and had to order the part.  I understood.
    J&J contacted me when the part came in and I went and had the part installed.  It did not fix the problem.  I spoke with Doug to ask if it would help if he had the car for more time and he agreed.  So Far, no problem.
    I aranged to borrow a vehicle and brought my car back to J&J.  I explained that I needed to have the car fixed because I needed to pass NC inspection.  I explained that passing inspection was my priority.  Doug offered to take the car to inspection for me.  I agreed, it would same me some time. 
    I went to pick up my car a week later and was told that the check engine light was not fixed but the car had passed inspection.  Doug showed me a set of pipes that he said he replaced; according to him it did not fix the problem.  He then explained he thought the problem was on top of the gas tank and it would be at least $700.00 to take down the tank to check further.  I declined the repair due to the expense, paid my bill and left.

    HERE IS THE PROBLEM:  When I checked with a Subaru dealer I was told that he did not see anything remotely similar to the part I described to him in the fuel or evap. system.  I was charged for 2 parts on my invoice. The first was the valve Doug told me he was replacing on the initial repair.  The second part was for a bracket, not the part he showed me.  NOW it gets worse.  I can no longer fill my gas tank because the fuel smell in my car makes me have bad headaches and nausea.  This was definatly not a problem before I dropped the car off.
    I called the shop to speak to Doug several times and he was never available.  I left messages with Paul several times to have Doug call me, but I never got a return call.  Not a very professional response.
    They do however send me emails and snail mail for me to come back for "Services".   (no, I'm not kidding)
       It's not going to happen!!!

    They are very efficient and the wait time is extremely short for the services! They are very professional and courteous, they keep you informed and they don't push you to have other services done which I like!

    Going Green Detailing Machine
    My '07 Yukon XL was detailed inside and out.  When Going Green was done, it looked, smelled and felt like a BRAND NEW Yukon.  Their work was absolutely amazing and really quick.  It only took them 4 hours to detail my Yukon where other places have taken all day and still not done the kind of job Going Green did.  I would recommend them to everyone and am already planning to schedule two more detail jobs with them!  AWESOME!!!

    I went to this establishment based on an "A" rating from Angie's list and because it was nearby.  Upon arriving I spoke to another customer who raved about the service and Robert, the owner/mechanic.  When I met Robert I knew that the previous Angie's list reports were accurate.  He's down to earth, knows his stuff and is honest.  Since bringing my Kia Sorento to him for service, my husband has also brought his car in for repairs.  So far so great.  Highly recommend.
