AWe take our miniature schnauzer to Pet Paradise for Grooming and Boarding. He had at least 4 groomers before we came there and always got bad reports and horrible cuts and was very difficult to work with. Stephanie at Pet Paradise has been grooming him for the past 3 years and he always has a wonderful cut. He loves her. He runs to her everytime he sees her. He has never done that before. He stays there also while we are on vacation. He is always happy when he comes home-not sad and diminished as he has been at other places. He can't wait to get in the front door.

FPlease be cautious when choosing a facility. Lucy is my 4lb pomeranian who was attacked by an unvetted 25-30 lb dog, new to the facility. This dog was being introduced on its first day. Come to find out the owners had the dog less than a month and was found near a fighting ring. Why was this dog able to get to Lucy? I have conflicting stories whether the dog was on a lead or not. Also, if a proper intake/screening/termparment test was performed this would not have happened. Cameras were also down so there is no footage of the incident. They advertise they have cameras so they should be in working order at all times. Please share Lucy's voice so this never happens again. [*** Link removed ***]

FThey over inflated the price and when I could pay the 1500 they wouldn’t let me take my dog to another vet Dr Jenkins was uncaring she said I could sign my precious baby over to them and the would treat her and adopt her out to one of the staff. This is not my usually vet mine was close. Then they sent animal control to my house to seize my dog that we had spent 3000 on to have his leg repaired. The screws didn’t hold so he can keep it like it is or get it amputated. We choose to keep it like it is. Of course all of my dogs were current on their vaccines and license fees. I pray That God has mercy on Dr Jenkins soul.

DThe store smelled like cigarettes when we first walked in the door. That should have been our first cue to go. We showed the groomer the a few mats that our dog got while we were traveling and explained we understood that he would have to be shaved. When we went to pick him up they apologized that the cur a mole he had on his neck. We wrote that off because acidence happen. After having home for a few hours we got to see the quality of the hair cut. They missed spots all over him and left him looking a little goofy. We are all for supporting smaller local businesses but we will not be going back to precious paws. We felt the workers were much more personable at other locations.

AThey're a little bit pricey, but they do good work. My vet interacts good with my pet. They're a pretty big outfit. I've been using them for my prior Westie that I had to have put down last year, he was 17. I've been using them for a long time. They have a number of vets, maybe about 5 of them, I guess.

APups Play & Stay IncMy dog adores going to Pups Play and Stay. She gets so excited when we pull into the driveway and tries to break down the front door as soon as she can reach it. She uses all the services that they have to offer (daycare/boarding/grooming). The daycare is so great! The hourly rate is amazing, and I love that they do not charge for 1/2 or whole day fees like many of the other daycare facilities do. If I want to put her in for an hour, I only pay for an hour! Their times of buisness are also fantastic! It's the only place I know that is open from 7am to 7pm, 7 days a week!! Overall the most convenient and wonderful place I have ever taken my dog to.- Jenny H.

APups Play & Stay IncThe staff and facilities are terrific! I feel so confident leaving my dog there knowing he's having fun, getting lots of attention and great exercise instead of being cooped up in my house all day. He's made a lot of great doggie friends and has quite a crush on several of the staff workers too! They all love him and treat him like he's one of their own. I love the hourly packages you can purchase that give you some great discounts. I purchase the largest amount of hours possible since he goes so regularly. It makes it easier to drop off and pick up without having to worry about paying each time.- Dawn G.

ATender Loving Care Dog GroomingThey groomed both of my Bichon Frise dogs exactly as I asked them to. I was impressed that Christina, the owner, really listened to how I wanted them cut, and she asked questions that let me know she wasn't just giving lip service. She really aimed to get it right. We were just traveling through Wilmington and I relied on Angie's List for a groomer. Christina knew we might be just a one-time customer, but she treated us like we would be regular customers. Our dogs were not stressed from their visit, and looked beautiful. She gave us an estimate of 4 hours for the two dogs, and it took exactly that amount of time. It was clear that Christina and her groomer love dogs and treated them well. I would highly recommend them!- Louise H.
