    Pet Paradise Wilmington
We take our miniature schnauzer to Pet Paradise for Grooming and Boarding. He had at least 4 groomers before we came there and always got bad reports and horrible cuts and was very difficult to work with. Stephanie at Pet Paradise has been grooming him for the past 3 years and he always has a wonderful cut. He loves her. He runs to her everytime he sees her. He has never done that before. He stays there also while we are on vacation. He is always happy when he comes home-not sad and diminished as he has been at other places. He can't wait to get in the front door.

Dr. Dineen has cared for all my pets for over 25 years. He is always professional, caring, and very gentle when examining my dogs. He takes time to ask question as well as answer any questions regarding their health. He goes above and beyond to treat my dogs when any problem arises. Staff is always cheerful, helpful and pleasant.

    Pups Play & Stay Inc
My dog adores going to Pups Play and Stay. She gets so excited when we pull into the driveway and tries to break down the front door as soon as she can reach it. She uses all the services that they have to offer (daycare/boarding/grooming). The daycare is so great! The hourly rate is amazing, and I love that they do not charge for 1/2 or whole day fees like many of the other daycare facilities do. If I want to put her in for an hour, I only pay for an hour! Their times of buisness are also fantastic! It's the only place I know that is open from 7am to 7pm, 7 days a week!! Overall the most convenient and wonderful place I have ever taken my dog to.

    The Pet's Pal Inn
I used to take my other dog there and my puppy's going there next week for 10 days when we go on a trip. There's a daily rate, I think it's like $20. I've used them a number of times. My other dog loved to go back there when I took him. They took good care of him. They had a small dog room and they had all the small dogs stay in this one room and it had crates around the perimeter of the room. At night they'd put each on in a crate. The rest of the time though, they all got together played together and they had an outdoor play area. They have a groomer there and he would usually get a bath before he comes home after he's been there like a week. They do grooming and all that. I think they were voted, last year, as the number one boarding place in Wilmington.

Atlantic Animal Hospital Pet Care Resort
They're a little bit pricey, but they do good work. My vet interacts good with my pet. They're a pretty big outfit. I've been using them for my prior Westie that I had to have put down last year, he was 17. I've been using them for a long time. They have a number of vets, maybe about 5 of them, I guess.

  • A In-Home Dog Boarding Community
We use a place called A Place For Rover and the lady actually moves into the house with her family.  We're very happy with them.  They charge by the day and I have no idea of the cost.  It just goes on my credit card; my wife sets it up and I just pay the bill, that's all.  I think it's like $30 a day to stay overnight and like $22 for a walk, or something like that.  Something like that; that's in the ballpark.  It's actually cheaper than boarding.  My dog seems to actually like them.  They actually bring their dog.  My dog likes to play with their dog, and their dog likes to play with my dog.  For responsiveness, I'd grade them an A-plus because my wife has actually had to extend a couple of times at like the last minute.  She's just called her and said hey, I can't get home tonight, and she just stays another night.  I know they're there every day when they say they're gonna be.  I think they've only not made it one day and that was because they had a sick child and got stuck in the doctor's office longer than they expected to be.  I've only met the girl one time - and she was really nice - to meet the dog.  She does what she says she's gonna do, walks the dog, cleans up the dog poop in the yards, and all that good stuff.  It's always the same person; it's not a different person every time.  It's always the same person from that company.

    Doggie Do's Mobile Dog Grooming
Kevin has been grooming our two Labradoodles Sophie and Sadie for almost three years. He is professional, courteous and very loving to our two girls. We are so lucky to have found someone who does a wonderful grooming job and who has become a family friend as well. We highly recommend him to anyone in search of that special groomer.

    Doggie Do's Mobile Dog Grooming
No call. I felt I needed to rate him on simple lack of response. I would assume a business is looking for clients and if not update your website or facebook to indicate either the criteria for a dog grooming or that you aren't taking new clients. Seems simple to me.

    Dogtrain Inc
Very well. I adopted a dog who came with some difficult behaviors. Owner Diane Gallagher has been immensely resourceful and creative in helping me to understand the issues. The depth of her knowledge and experience is unsurpassed. She has given this dog the tools and positive experiences necessary to make better choices so that she can be successful. I've learned to communicate and be a better leader. I would not have been able to manage this situation without her help. Ms. Gallagher and the other staff at Dogtrain, Inc. are professional, straightforward and helpful. A+

The Palms Pet Resort & Spa
I see that they have grass around where they can take the dog to a park area so they can walk the dog, good boarding, staff are professional. They have someone there 24 hours a day looking after the pets. They have a good receptionist, good care. The dogs came back not anxious, but happy.
